How Pakistan’s First Female Leader Allegedly Stole 1.5 Billion Dollars | The Big Steal

  • The Bhuttos are amongst a few hundred feudal families, mostly large landowners, that have dominated politics and business in Pakistan since its creation in 1947. In the eyes of the west, Pakistan’s Benazir Bhutto was a beacon of democracy and a staunch foe of Muslim extremism, but at home, the slain opposition leader was a controversial figure, mired in allegations of corruption and accused of acquiring wealth, worth over 1.5 billion dollars.

Democracy is the worst type of govt. in developing areas and countries such as Pakistan . Reason , because everyone regardless of thier status has the same value for voting . An illiterate persons vote will count as one and a well educated persons vote will be of the same value . And in countries like Pakistan , where the literacy rate alone is below 50% , this is a huge problem. Here and illiterate person would give in thier vote for a plate of biryani , this is why we have such leaders, as they know they can easily influence the poor masses on slogans such as "food, cloth and water" , bruh there is nothing to be proud of on providing this , as it is a fundamental right and need of the country's people

This is just the tip of the iceberg. In 2012, Transparency International (TI) calculated that Pakistan had lost more than Rs 8.5 trillion (US$ 94 billion) in corruption, tax evasion and bad governance in the PPP-led coalition government from 2008 to 2013. In other words, Pakistan was losing $600 per SECOND during those five years. I can't say it's gotten any better.

When I was in Pakistan on official business in the early 80's, one of the US Embassy Officers told me that the Pakistani Government took a 50% cut of all the aid going to the Afghan Insurgents. The whole country is a cesspool of grift and corruption. The major reason the country is out of funds today is that most of the aid that Pakistan received from the US and others went into the pockets of government officials to pay for their children's tuition in foreign universities and nice retirement properties.
The best solution is for the workers to rise-up and start from Day Zero.

Next day Benazir held a press conference at Faisal Saleh Hayat residence, Gulberg, Lahore, there Benazir replied a question that the workers who burnt American flags are miscreants and not PPP workers. Interestingly, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto were rivals back in the '90s and accused each other of corruption. You can find speeches and بیانات of both leaders calling each other out for destabilizing the country. After Benazir's death, her husband kept calling out Sharif brothers for their alleged crimes against Pakistan while Sharif brothers criticized him for his alleged corruption.
Today, all of them have formed a collective government under the banner of PDM. Zardari's son Bilawal serves as the Foreign Minister under the younger Sharif. This country has become a cesspool of hypocrisy!

All these feudal land owners were given the huge chunks of land by the British because they were loyal to the colonizers and ultimately traitors to the persecuted people of Pakistan Britain took these lands from the rebellious and honest leaders who stood for the nationhood and gave it all to these filthy boot lickers who presented their sisters to those settlers as you know what I mean, Britain made these type of families in charge till the time of independence in 1947 and later on most of them came in politics started to become sinister ministers, senators, businessmen, factory owners, in short, they are the ones running everything from the day one be it private educational institutions, private hospitals, banks, food and clothing related industries, appointing Beurocrates in the police and judiciary, and only God knows what more, And in order for their private businesses to run they destroyed the government owned state institutions and specially the quality education making it a luxury present only for the rich and government schools can make only the lower class of the society like soldiers, clerks, and jobless labourers. Making the whole new generation of the same old colonial mindset that's gonna enslave the poor people and think of themselves as superior to the poor working class. At first, they were spreading propaganda through the newspaper now each one of them owns their personal news channels, and guess what comes free with the news channels, journalist dogs who work day and night 24/7 to convince the gullible people of Pakistan that their leaders are saints and holy and are sent down by the god almighty himself to rule y'all illiterate f**ks, I hate every politician in my country including the founding fathers because if they took the lands of all these degenerate basterds in the first year of the making of this country, I would not be wasting my time writing this long ass comment. Now at present, there are more than five thousand families sitting on the weak and poor backs of the hard working Pakistani people having assets of more than trillions of dollars in the tax heavens and in all the world capitals, and this Bhutto family alone, which is mentioned in this video has an astronomical amount of land in Sindh and owns assets all around the world comprising of hundreds of billions of dollars whilst the country is shortly going to be blacklisted because of the mere hundred billion dollar loan which again was taken by these same sons of the ditches. Everyone is looting their fair share whether it's the Army, the Politicians, or the Beurocrates. the main culprits are the Army generals because politicians are their bitches if you don't believe this look at the current political situation in Pakistan now I know what you all are thinking what's the solution to all this cluster fu*k just start buying them guns whether you have to sell your organs and do a revolt or leave this shitty country because no common man can even think of becoming a local councilor without spending a million dollars on his election campaign let alone being the prime minister or the president, any person who's gonna spend a billion f**ing dollars on his presidential campaign, serving the nation is gonna be the least of his priorities, now, that's Democracy and Capitalism in the third world 101 for y'all, patriot folks. One day this whole brutality is gonna come to an end, all this injustice can not go on for forever just waiting for that day this is gonna end with a burning heart and the teary eyes living in the dark shadows in disguise as a cheery guy who can't help his own people and can't lie in this world full of fake preachers.....

Even i wish prosperity in not only Pakistan but all of South Asia. Despite our differences I want the entire region to succeed. White people have their developed country. East Asian people also have their developed countries. I want our region to also produce such strong economies. It is my wish. I hope no student will have the need to go out of their country to study.

This is definitely one side of the story and I appreciate you sharing it. But it completely ignores the hypocritical foreign intervention in Pakistan's governance which enabled these politicians to amass the fortunes you are talking about. Pakistan in it's short history has been on the rise many times just to be back stabbed by the foreign powers who we helped whenever they needed, whether it be the cold war or the war on terror. Politicians are more or less the same around the world with some differences between developing and developed countries.

No one can be accountable of their actions on either corruptions or killing of every person in path of exposing or questioning their corruption. It's a banana republic where no rule exists!! And then we question why is it so easy for the 1st world countries to control & meddle in the internal politics of Pakistan. Here is the reason. The condition has become so destructive that Pakistan is at the brink of an economic collapse yet once again and has no other option that to be played a puppet by 1st world country & prove it's loyalty towards the masters even if its on the verge of Pakistan being wiped off from the map of the world gradually.
