Hi Jürgen, wir haben uns das letzte mal bei Ferropolis 2023 getroffen. Richtig schöner Bus geworden!!! Ich hatte ja noch deinen alten gestehen. Echt wichtig super!!! Respekt!!!
[ For English, open this comment ] Te veel stroom ter beschikking hebben is echt fantastisch. Having too much electric power is simply fantastic. I also like the idea of building a large battery on the basis of smaller cheap cells from China. Creating hot water for the Camper / RV / MotorHome / WohnMobil using the cooling water from the engine seems the ideal solution. The way the back door gives access to the bicycle storage, and the design and art of building with regards to the position of the kitchen is outstanding. Hartelijk Dank Onrust! 👍 [ Deutsch kommt vielleicht noch dazu, aber ich werd' nichts versprechen ]
nice video, and well made vehicle... congratulations. I see there are many coaches converted to campers.... what event is this? When is it held and where?.. in Germany? Thank you
It depends how many seats you leave standing. Up to 9 = C, 10 or more = D. Buses longer than 12 meters can never be driven with C, though. This bus is little over 10 meters and has less seats, so must be driven with C.
very nice, they got bath room even with only one deck, 7:05 and this gentleman is very smart, he use heat from the engine heat up the bath room water, increasing efficiency, nice work, i’m wondering how do we process with the black water?
You might have not noticed that the fences of the terrace on top of the bus, all are solar panels. If he folds them down, almost all of the roof is covered with solar panels... But as he said - it is very much true - running an AC with solar is difficult.
That S415HD is apparently a bit over 12 meters long, and doesn't have 9 passenger seats to be an actual bus anymore. Does it require permits or exceptions in continental Europe?
it is a 411HD and nowhere near 12 meters (I'm not sure but my guess is 10.5m - ah looked it up and it is 10.16m). You are right about the seats, yes. I'm not sure what you mean about the permits or exceptions? You need a truck drivers licence (C) for a vehicle like this.
@@Onrust1 Ah being a 411HD makes it easy! Here in Finland we can get exception for any lenght of bus to be a motorhome and to be driven with a C license, most busses are over 12m nowadays. Propably can't drive that there, need to make a motorhome out of a shorter one.
Before I left for Austria, where I was the whole month of October, I mounted solar panels (900 Wp in total), made a desk to work at (with computer) and invested in Starlink. I'm thinking about making a video about that trip. It was great! I still feel small compared to the skills and expertise of Jürgen. 😊
@@mypride8780 Yeah... don't hold your breath.. 😐 changed circumstances make it less motivating to make videos. Nowadays far less than one per cent of all my subscribers clicks my new videos. That makes me wonder why bother? So only if the storyteller in me likes to have fun, there is a new video (like this one).
@@Onrust1without causing offence, have you wondered why this is, or asked your viewers? As someone who has watched and liked all your videos this is an easy answer. We subscribed to your channel too see your amazing bus, to see how you built it, to see how you use it, to see your upgrades and opinions, to see what changes you would like to make, because we all would like to think about our own bus whether we have one now or to think about a future bus. Unfortunately, your recent videos hardly feature your bus, they are mainly your woodworking skills (which is amazing but not bus related) or feature your bus very little e.g the bus swap challenge whoch was a bit bizzare as it was not on actual roads so we could imagine how it would be really like driving rather than a field in the middle of nowhere. It is clear to see from the view count of your videos, any videos that features your bus for a significant duration have atleast over 100 times the number of views in comparison to your other videos which do no feature your bus. I watch and like all of your videos to encourage you too keep making videos, but me and most people just want to see your bus, I am still looking forward to you addressing my previous video idea regarding how you designed the bus in terms of how to hide your plumbing and wiring etc, design choices for building etc.. I believe there is a huge demand for your videos, but mainly focused on your bus. Viewers will return if videos reflect what made the channel popular, which is your amazing bus! Apologies in advance if this is not what you wanted to hear, or perhaps you did not realise this. But I am sure if you ask your viewers the majority would love more bus videos!!! Have a great evening.
Amazing. Jurgen built a Beast of an RV. Thanks for showing it
Thanks for sharing this build! So many cool features and ideas!

👍🏻 Super Bus
Using engine coolant for water heat is a great idea. You lose so much energy in heat with diesel, might as well use it.
He chose a really good base for his conversion. The Setra is a lovely drive, as I know from my job driving through many parts of Europe.
Compressor is handig. 🤗

Thank you. Yes, annual event in Germany. More in the description.
Echt ein klasse Bus 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Gibt es zu dem Treffen eine Internetseite oder Facebook?
Ja, www.wohnbusse.eu, unter 'Treffen & Termine'..
❤hi do you have a list or dates for the bus meets id like to bring my big camper over from the uk thank you
Most of them are on www.wohnbusse.eu under 'Treffen & Termine'. The ones in the Netherlands are on touringcampertreffen.nl .
Hello, these modified buses can be driven with category C driving license or must be D?

No black water, toilet incinerates.
as he said in the video, there is no separate black water tank, it goes all in one; it is 500 liters fresh and 500 liters waste water.
@@Onrust1 thanks
Levelized cost per KM? 1€? 5€?
Looks very much like my dream bus. But instead of the roof balcony, I would cover the entire roof with solar panels to run AC.

In germany max 12m for motorhome
I still assume, your bus better, more space, you just have to add solar panel, and you have enough space in back to install necessary equipments.
