Maybe the stop sign was because of the icy road and no guard rail in the upcoming turns. The road isn't being maintained anymore, I'm just guessing thats the reason. But its funny this is exactly the video I was looking for. Since I didnt know about this road until recently, and now I'm so curious to try driving there. When the sun returns, I think I will.
There is a live webcam from Leirvik, that mainly shows sheep chasing each other and people driving around who knows where? What a fascinating place though. I would love to go and visit for the peace and quiet and stunning landscapes. Although you say you are not particularly interested in the town, it would be nice to see what it's like and what people actually do there. What do they do? What do they eat? Fish .... and lamb? I think they play a lot of football. If you look on Google maps, there are football pitches all over the place, so there must be kids about. Who knows? Anyway, please be careful launching your drone off your hand like that - it might hit you in the face and that would not be good! XOX

Where are all the trees? Or, maybe the Faroe Islands are not old enough for trees to exist yet! It's strange that trees grow almost every where in the world. I would think the Faroe's have existed long enough for trees to take root! I think they have plenty moisture year around, but not enough sun light. I know that there is a lot going on weather wise, because of heat energy from the gulf stream slamming into the cold Norwegian sea. Maybe to many sheep and not enough tree's!
Haha no....I have been there only 8 days. It was in December/January. I have little time to make videos so they come late. I have been back home in Barcelona since January :))
Very beautiful videos and scenery. Thank you very much for sharing. Inspiring to see places.
