(Literally overkill) If it's regular Garou, Kaiju wins, if it's half monster Garou. Might be hard for Kaiju to beat him (don't forget his martial arts). Full Monster garou 1st form might be similar in power, but due to his martial arts, i'm sure he would beat Kaiju n°8 but not instantly. If it's Garou's bigger monster form. He would destroy Kaiju relativly easily.
Tho he really meant to push him, he didn't really expect the Kaiju in Kafka to react to that extent. But, it was a cascade of events coming together to make that reaction; Kafka's stress levels, conflicting thoughts, anxiety, and his detector going absolutely nuts; thinking that the Director is an actual daikaiju and not a human. Kaiju 8 felt like it had no choice but to take over, cuz Kafka refused to fight back.

I love how they expounded some scenes with the Third Squad Members talking about how to save Kafka. Also, note that Isao is "former strongest" member. There's a new strongest in the block and I am so excited to see him in action.
Tbh I was sort of expecting this season to cover that and go until the end of the "ant" fight cause of that one scene. But i'm really glad with how they've handled it so far! The extended content you mentioned is especially great to see!

Eddie can use venom as a suit because venom allows him to but once venom realizes Eddie is near death he takes control to fight because if Eddie dies venom dies. Same thing here Kafka was about to die from that punch and the kaiju saw that so it took over to prevent Kafka from dying which is why Kafka cant control his body. I am so hyped to see kaiju no.8 vs the general next week!
