They are analogous to the magnitude system of natural disasters, eg. Earthquakes and aftershock that follows, major tornadoes and strong wind in the aftermath, and so on.

I’m honestly just here for the fact that everyone is older in this, it’s not another teenage superhero story. Kaiju No8 and Final Fantasy 16 out here proving that you can have Adults with Adult problems as your protagonists and still have the same troupes you normally have and that already sets it apart from other shows
