@@gailjones6273 There was low compression on one cyclinder, I was hoping to take the head off to see if it was a head gasket issue or something else. But it's not coming off the studs, I think corrosion between the studs and head is keeping it stuck on. Currently making a tool to chase down around the studs
@@isobelfox629 Plenty of Plus-Gas or WD40 down the studs, maybe valve seats leaking too. I had the head sticking on a Ford Pinto engine, but in this case it had head bolts which came out ok. The head was stuck down and I had to give it a jolt with a mallet and block of wood which released it. Sounds like you have the problem in hand, good luck.
