Well you may have just saved me. I wear a uk size 19, yes 19 and obviously I can't find golf shoes anywhere on planet earth although trainers aren't a problem at all! Now i'm searching for the spikes to try them out, thanks again 👍
Yes it did indeed puncture the bubble. Of course I thought about it after the fact. The bubble is purely cosmetic tho. They still feel great to walk in.
Love the content. There is a slight issue...golf shoes have a bit more stability than "regular" sneakers. The other issue is that if you wait for deals you can get $200 golf shoes for much less than half price.
These provide so much traction. That my crocs were stuck on the Tee box. Be the envy of all FootJoy wearers with this kit! They are soft of the greens. Even long 4 putt sessions of that short par 3 leaves no trace behind of your madd skillz. Beware that you will need to beef up the 4x4 strap on your favorite crocs, due to the extreme added traction this kit provides. The only downside is these are a Permanente install. So once installed you can still be the king of the cul-de-sac at your local bbq. Forget needing a 2 person saftey lift for that heavy yeti cooler of beer. You have so much traction that when you engage 4x4 on your crocs. You have the power to pull down a pissed off buffalo attached to a local farmers plow.
Thanks for making this video. What would you do when the cleats wears off or breaks? Would you replace the worn out/damaged one in a different spot since these were super glued? Thanks.
Great video. How is the durability of the spikes though? I realize not everyone has the option, but if you need to wear spikes to play golf where you live, you need a new place to live, not spikes.
The durability is fantastic. Not sure what you mean about that tho. Any course plays different first thing in the morning vs late in the afternoon. Wet grass vs dry grass. You’ll just have better traction with spikes. Has nothing to do with where you live.
The are legit. Did it to a second pair of shoes and I like them better than golf shoes. Way more options to chose what shoe you like and is comfortable. The spikes create incredible traction and don’t fall out. Do yourself a favour and pick up a set.
I played the other day in some Vans Ultrarange and they are actually a great alternative. Comfortable, flexible, grip well....

Nineteen 😮
Awesome video. Been wanting to turn some shoes into golf shoes. You think they would work on Nike Roshe or softer foam soles?
Just as long as the sole is flat they will work!
Did the screws effect the bubble on the shoe?

Superb video, looking to buy new shoes for my lawn work

They are more for the sneaker community that’s obsessed with street shoes or crocs etc. I wouldn’t say they out preform golf shoes.

Did you kill the air bubble in the heal? Any swishy feel in the heal??
No not at all
Can you change out the spikes when they wear out?
Yes they give you spare spikes
How different are the spikes compared to the ones in normal golf shoes? threads wider? Almost seems you could just buy normal spikes and some glue.
They are identical from a spike perspective. A refusal golf spike will not have a long enough thread to drill into the shoe.

Yep that’s exactly what I’d do. Or I would just convince myself to buy a new pair of shoes and start over lol.
Will it work on leather dress shoes ?
Yes
@@NewNineGolf ..I thought the spike anchors needed one half inch of sole ?
Some dress shoes do. Use at your own discretion. You really want to golf in dress shoes?

When I see a bottle of super glue like that bottle of super glue, I think of kraggle from The Lego Movie
a year later, what’s the update on the spikes? Tempted to buy them but I’ve seen a lot of negative

Lol @ American Pie reference; remind me that I super glued my brother to the toilet seat, I just put glue on the seat and he was the first victim. 😂
LMAO that’s awesome 😂
Just waiting for that air bubble to pop
Its been a year now how did they hold up?
Unreal! I just put a new pair in some Jordan’s. Played with them all week with 0 issues.
@@NewNineGolf so worth the purchase?
Buy two packs
How to do the screws not poke your foot?
They only go into the rubber of the sole. You don’t / won’t feel them.
Ryobi lol
