High Whispering style. The blacking is called tarnishing and there are few things you can do to help prevent it. One is to apply a wax like Renaissance Polishing 335038 which is very easy to do. Simply rub it on, let dry and then buff to polish it. Or you might try a dip like Silver Glory 335031 ( it works great on copper and nugold too). And yet another option is to use a lacquer. These you can paint on or spray on. I hope this is of some help. Mark N Tech
Hi Missyme. when wire breaks like that it usually means that the wire was over work hardened and cracked due to stress. The only thing i can think of to recomend is to some how do less forming in the area where it's breaking. I hope this is of some help. Mark N Tech
your 'guy' says to just put it back on mandrel and hammer away...... ring is a perfect example of poor teaching. But hey - you sell more wire that way. PS - when your company says they'll teach you to make something why not teach to make what's actually in the photo?
I agree. there's no need for people to be mean when these people are being GENEROUS enough to put this information on youtube! People CHARGE for this kind of stuff! Be grateful! Didn't your mother teach you if you can't say anything nice don't nothing at all. (this is for people like keithjavier1)
Some people are just so rude & unappreciative. They probably wouldn´t know what talent is if it jumped up & smacked them in the teeth. I love this ring. It´s beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to show us how to make it.
love it! this is my first time learning about the polishing cloth! Thank you so much for sharing this. Now I can work on my art jewelry and polish them at home. I would like to know how to keep the metal from blackening. I work with copper and nugold. Help! In advance, thanks so much for replying :)
Hi could you tell the number on the catalogue I got from Rio “of the pliers to buy the one you are bending. The wire ? As there are so many I can’t work out which one is this please :)
Very pretty ring! Thank you for sharing the techniques, it's very appreciated. I'm very interested to learn working with wire, it's a beautiful Art creating jewelry with a piece of wire!!! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2019 P.S.: I just subscribed!

PLEASE HELP... if u can. Thanks Missy
Hello I have a question about bringing wire down a gauge or two, and using a tiny screw plate I'm hoping you can help me. I put the sterling silver wire in the screw plate and put the threads on the wire but then my threaded end wont fit my tiny screw ball ends, so I'm guessing I need to take my wire down a gauge or maybe two then try and put the threads on my wire so it will fit my tiny screw ball ends. I'm trying to make belly button jewelry and use factory made screw ball ends. do you have a tool that can help me out. Thanks very much for your help.
@DivineMissO521 The one in the demo was made with too many "squiggles" and not hammered as much as the desplay.... to make the vid shorter I suppose. Also, no two rings made by hand ever come out the same.
stay on the same plane.
this is a huge step I wish you had explained a little more about this step.

Hi Paula, Thanks for asking! Mark is using Swanstrom round-nose pliers, #111302. Hope this helps, and have a great day!

@DUY1337GUITAR true... sorry! blonde moment!
please get rid of that lady, she is distracting and not necessary to these instructional videos. she brings nothing to the table.
Asking questions helps absolute beginners grasp the techniques. You need to help the next generation of jewellery makers get on board.
@keithjavier1 that's NOT nice. if u don't like it... then, don't watch!
