@@ChrisOVEMERY It worked but it goes too fast on the first 2 layers and lingers too long on the last, lol. I am trying to find a way to give all three the same amount of air time but haven't found it yet. Hopefully I can figure it out.

@@Dramadonia sounds strange. The cycle goes the same speed all through (you set the speed in behaviour options)
You could also add a few layers in the beginning to slow the first part down and delete a few on the last to slow the linger down.

You don't know how much you have helped me. I am old school and disabled and I have watched so many videos even ones I have paid for. What I learned from you is how to connect evething together. I did not understand how to select the arm, then add the bones then tag it. I thought if you tag it that was enough. I knew there was a flow but my brain just didn't get it. I have so many stories to tell and could not get my puppets correct. First, I was having problems with the eyes moving in the head, then I would get disconnected from my link doing changes. I wished people would do like you, don't assume I know how to do something because you rushed and did not show each detail. I am going to finish my puppets this week and post. I am going to include your name and#adobeCharactheranimator

Hi dude, first of all, thanks for the tutorial. I need your help with one subject which I didn't found a solution. When my arms move, they are bending from the elbow point which I selected. But, the elbows aren't moving like real elbow as yours. Because in your puppet, your lower arm following the elbow and your arm is not bending too much. I mean your lower arm is passing through on the upper arm. How can I do that?

Hey, thanks. yeah I probably would work with a different rig for that. Ive done that for front view as an example.
There might be some smart way of keeping everything on same project but I tend to rather split things up than having a "super rig". Smoother for the cpu and if (when) things crash its always good to have more file versions

This deserves 100x more views-great video! Just curious about something; do you think Character Animator is ideal for 2d animated shorts, or would you say making them frame-by-frame on something like Adobe Animate would be better for that purpose? I know Character Animator is great for tutorials and explainer videos and maybe some episodes too, but what are your thoughts?

Hey man! First of all thanks a lot!
Regarding your question it depends a little on what type of animated short you want to do. More often than not though, I use both depending on the scene. Generally Ch for the dialogue parts an animate or toonboom for action sequences & stuff. I break it down in my video "Is this made in Character Animator" dropped a few weeks ago

Damn, hard question dude. I only have some base knowledge in Graphic Design (2 year education) Drawing and animation is just years of drawing stuff (and being a comic book nerd since forever) but ALSO youtube. Don't underestimate youtube! Best of luck my man

Pls demonstrate how to keyframe. I really dislike that "performance capture" nonsense. =[

Damn man.. sound like Character Animator isnt for you haha :D There are much better stuff out there if ya dont dig the performance cpt. Perhaps Animate or Toonboom is what youre looking for!
I personally dont keyframe in Character Animator at all, and probably wont, until that day they will ad keyframe possibilities for stuff like draggers (arms etc)
