Might the the quickest I’ve ever clicked on one of your videos! Let’s go!! Congratulations man, I’d surmise that there’s probably less than 50 left that are this clean. Awesome find!
I really enjoy you and your videos. You seem like such a nice person. Easy to enjoy. I also like your taste. Cars, trucks and garage decor. Thanks for putting the time and effort into taking us along.
I really enjoy your channel. Been a sub for quite a while now. The variety, quality of workmanship, videography, and narration are all really top notch. Please keep the content coming.
I bought one in 88 slightly used. I was 18 yrs old. I believe mine was 708 or 718. It was a long time ago. I do still have the time slip from Englishtown NJ. I kept it all these years because it was the first car I took to the drag strip. It was bone stock not many mods available then. Ran a 14.87 not fast today but quick for 88. I had tons of fun in that car. It was a blast smoking those TPI GM f- bodies. Great car.
My first car was an 85 Shelby Charger, not the GLHS, just the Shelby edition. This was back in 88 or so. It was faster than the average car of the time.
Back in 88 mine was running hot. The dealer swapped the 2 blade fan for one from an H-G body. It was either a four or five blade I can't remember. It solved the overheating problem.
I remember a friend of mine had one back in 1988, he actually run the dog crap out of that car. I bet today that he regrets beating up that car. Very nice find Brian! 👌🏻 👍
A few things I know that may be of help is these came standard with rear window louvers. The regular Shelby Chargers came with a Shelby decal on the lower rear window. My GLHS had one so I'm guessing the GLHS had it too. The muffler is original. I remember reading on an SDAC website that these rust very easily where the front floor pan meets the firewall. There's a lip on the pan that collects debris and must be regularly kept clean. The radio is not original. The p body used that one. L body's used the prior style. One other thing you probably know already is that if you give it some mods use the half shafts from a 90 Omni. They are stronger, are a thicker diameter and are a direct fit. Prior 1990 will break easily with any mods. Good luck. You have a beautiful GLHS.

I couldn't believe there were two of those cars within 10 miles of each other (and me). Crazy!
@@ProjectTimeGarage wild…awesome find! Not many people can say they own 2 GLHS’s at the same time. Pretty cool.

I think the T1 cars had a 2 blade, but maybe the T2 cars got the 5 blades or something....can't remember exactly.
I miss my 85 Omni GLH Turbo. So much fun. I am hoping to get an Omni GLHS one day...
I'd like to have one of those myself.

Yeah, I ran the crap out of mine too back in the 80's. Wish I had kept that one.
It looks like a early fox body mustang to me
Lol, you should see what random people call it at gas stations. I've heard it called everything you can imagine.
