husband speaking age 81 - sorry for your trauma over your son. Our boy had a Febrile seizure about age 2. We had
just finished supper, I was brushing my teeth and ready to leave for a first aid class. Ryan was still in his high chair,
suddenly mom (wife) called, frantic that Ryan was not breathing. His mouth was locked and turning blue. Both scared,
called 911 and our Fire Dept. was only about 6 blocks away. By the time the medics got there, he had loosened up.
We were told that his body stiffens up to try to break the fever. About a week later he had his 2nd attack. I was just
getting home and saw the fire truck at the house. By this 2nd time the Dr. said if he has a 3rd attack he will have to be on
a med of some kind until he was 10 or 12. From that day on for the next 6 or 7 years when ever Ryan had a cold, my
wife would wake up every 4 hours for days to give Ryan his cold meds. That is a mother's love, to do that for years for her child.

Mark you are doing an awesome job parenting, and as a father of four grown children I can assure you that what Forest G is going through is far harder on you than it is on him, his environment is not harmful to him, it will only ensure he develops an amazing immune system. Please don't take him away from what he has there. The audio is fine, we love the realism.

I know my opinion doesn't matter much and I only see a few minutes of your families life, but I think I see a big improvement in Forest since you moved where you are now. The boy is thick and super healthy looking.. And he seems way more calm and happy. Hums a happy tune while he's playing. Anyway he's got a great mom and dad and big sis and now an extended family of aunts, uncles, gramma a grandpa, cousins. As I'm typing this i hear you saying pretty much the same thing.

marcos.. let me give u some advice since my son is autistic and non verbal.. he also is on meds for seizures that the drs say, mimic a seizure. my best advice to you is, get him to see a neuroligist my friend. he just needs to be on the right medication for it, my son has gone 4 years no seizures. seizures are triggered by alot like. loud noise, bright lights.. just make sure forest is on his side when he has one. i am praying for u my friend. the sooner he sees a specialist, the better. god has blessed you with a beautiful family. my son is on depakote 250 mg twice a day, along with folic acid tablets. i know it hurts to see your child going thru this. non verbal children are very smart, they just do not talk, see if forest can see some kind of a speech therapy. god bless u my friend. its a tuff situation to be in, but as parents, we must do whats best for our children. my son lives with me full time, he cannot be left alone too.. i would not trade it for anything. my son was 4 pounds at birth..

This happened to me two times in cagian de oro . My wife's niece had a high fever and seasure. It was about 10:30 at night . Surprised everyone and am running out on the street to get a ride to the hospital . My wife also got them as a child and grew out of it . I was just about asleep and tired from a long day when everyone was crying and shouting . 12 people or more crowded around trying to figure out what was wrong . Both times had no idea if she would make it . Very scary mark will never forget it .

I believe with a better medicaI system that is available to all they might still be here. I spent a lot of time with special needs children and adults. I trust you know what's best for FG. I personally would feel better if he was seen by medical professionals better equipped and more experienced. Take care.🙏🏼

Hi Mark, about 12 years ago we were living in Henderson,Nv. Our grandson was 1 year old at the time. He had his vaccines due for that age but a few days before his vaccinations he had been a little sick, the day after his vaccination he had a seizure just like you described. My wife and daughter and I did panic and called 911. About 10 medical EMT, Fire dept showed up in just a few minutes. By the time they left with him for the Hospital he came out of it. No one ever said the name Femile seizure. Thank you for your video. You have a wonderful family, we pray for no more seizures. Wish we could do more. ❤️

You’re stronger than they all think. All good papa Marcos. I experienced this with my baby and it’s not going to be a threat to your boy. Thermometer and oxymeter is a must have at home so you can monitor your kids temperature, pulse and oxygen level. I think ForestG was really dehydrated. Maybe it happened when you guys walked to the village in the heat and ForestG was not drinking enough liquid which caused him to have a headache and a high fever. I wanted to share my experience… Things like that happened to us a lot when we were kids. My family couldn’t afford to send us to the hospital but we managed to control the fever by taking Biogesic, drink Gatorade or Pedialyte and Vitamin C intake and a rice porridge and banana for meal and we put ice pack on our forehead to prevent having a seizure. If our condition doesn’t improve after 3 days that’s when we seek medical advice. It is always good to see the doctor and have them diagnose the condition to know exactly what was wrong. We filipinos are very resilient and majority of Filipinos don’t have a healthcare insurance that is why we managed to take care of ourselves as best as we can.

I'm a paramedic. Currently, witnessed seizures lasting longer than 1 minute, or 3 seizures within 10 minutes are considered an emergency and instantly medicated. Midazolam.
All seizures are treated with a hospital assessment until a diagnosis is established.
I hope any of this helps.

Yo King Marcos. Thanks for sharing Lil Forest G story with us. I know it was hard because I can tell from your face how much it hurt to see Forest G like that and not being able to do anything about it. Im glad you figured it out and know how to handle it like a G now when it happens. Stay blessed my friend and live that life up. Sending you and your family love from Seattle, WA.

It is very challenging and difficult to give a child with special needs or an elderly parent that has health issues the care that they need and sometimes you feel like you can't do or aren't doing enough because of it, you feel bad because maybe you hate to see that happening. You love your kids so much, I can see that, Forrest is a great kid and Maria Mercedes is a doll, My Wife adores that little girl. Just keep pluggin away brother and maybe you can find a specialist that can help.
