Ciara: - OOOOH THE BOTTLE IS SO PRETTY AND THE DRANK IS LIKE APPLE JUICE!! :D
First one was Flour second one was Apple Juice
Others:oh my f God
Her: tastes like apple juice
to be fair, the plum wine does taste like apple juice.
“It’s like apple juice, but someone went shh”
everyone filled the glass for a taste or two and Dermot and Laura is pouring for the whole day and night, and said:
"i'm gonna have a sip because i'm scared" ????
THANK YOU
That drove me nuts when she said that 😂
MC: "it just slides down your mouth"
James: " You're just going for the comments"
😆
MC: "I leak a little bit"
James: "Oh, the comments"
He's calling out a fisher and he's right to.
6:12 😂
"Have you ever boiled rice then drank the water?"
"Omg who hurt you?"
Mexicans: HORCHATA!
Mey and Kai Ayeee
Seriously, they gotta try Horchata
To me it sounded like she said you are a Jew.
Here in the Philippines we call that "Am" (Ah mm)...
It actually taste good, unless the rice is old or VERY LOW QUALITY...
It's common for kids to drink that...
Of course try horchata ...la mejor agua de arroz beliave
"It's like apple juice but someone's gone ...shhhh...."
Lolsy speaking from experience there.
Yeah if I remember correctly I use that Chinese rice wine for if I want some extra flavor in my noodle soup, it really does a nice job if the noodle soup you have is light and somewhat on the blander side of things
Lolsy: "It's like they made it out of the stones of the fruit." *makes face*
Ciara: "And someone pissed on the stones." *takes another sip*
I'm ... not at all surprised.
Dermot: fills the glass almost full, takes one sip, doesn't like it, downs the glass🤣🤣🤣
Irish don't waste alcohol
No one ever should waste alcohol 😂
7:53 Laura "It's a really awful after-taste. Dermot "Its a really f**kn bad during-taste as well" . Gold.
i really can’t believe you had them drink shaoxing wine as the ONLY chinese alcohol. it’s cooking wine!! who the hell drinks cooking wine??
Really agree on tht
why cook with wine that that tastes bad? cook with
good wine
@@paulsmallriver6066 you cook with olive oil, doesn't mean you should drink it
@@shenzhong2942 i am curious about that Chinese cooking wine so I will do some research.

“It’ll be fine!” says the lass who could drink antifreeze without cracking a grimace 😂
Antifreeze is supposed to be a bit sweet. Lethal, but sweet.
She can drink 80% Absinthe without cracking a grimace, call it smooth, and say she likes it.
Anti freeze tastes good
Austria had a major wine industry scandal in the 80s where they used a little bit of antifreeze to sweeten their wines.
In a video of the Irish try strongest American Spirits she took two hits from 95 horsepower Grain Alcohol without batting an eye...and apparently that was her first Irish Try alcohol shoot.
I came for "Irish people try Asian alcohol" I stayed for the sound of music.
I love the way you never know what's going to come out of their mouths. That was a great little addition to the video.
I came
I love it when they go Sound of Music!!!!
"Do you have any dry sparking wine?"
"No, unfortunately..."
"Grand!"
I LOVE CIARA!!
"tastes like vegetables"
"what kind of vegetables are you eating?!"
Ciara: I'm excited because I might try something I haven't had before.
Every distiller and distributor ever: Not likely...
Laura: pours a full glass
Also Laura: “I’m gonna have a small sip”
What I want to know, is Lolsly single? She'd be perfect for my son! We are a bit Irish, he's 25%, so.....
THOSE GIRLS DRUNK FROM COOKING RICE WINE AND STARTED YODELLING LMAO
that was so random it needs to become a meme
Is only two other people surprised that Ciara is stupid drunk.....
02:57 they both say, "...dry sparkling wine?....." IDENTICALLY. that was great! The Editors for this episode are slik! Good on ya!
The chinese rice wine is actually cooking wine......
hahahah exactly!!
Freddy Frank 😂😂😂😂 I was dying
bruhhhhhhhhhh i was shocked hahahahah wtf
Hahahahahahaha you’re not supposed to drink it raw hahahahahaha
And when that fella said “tastes like condiment” i was like yep, ur not wrong
Dermot: *buuuurp* "If Lolsy is in the video you kind of have to compete with her."
And yet Lolsy didn't burp once during this shoot. They could have made a disclaimer at the beginning - "In this episode, the part of Lolsy's burps will be played by Dermot."
"I'm here to learn about cultures and get drunk while doing it." I want Mary-Claire to be my travel abroad tour guide for life!
After watching a bunch of these try channel videos, I feel like I am missing out on an important "drinking with Ciara" experience. Please keep up this valuable and informative effort to bring the appropriately Irish drinking rites to the world. Thank you for your sacrifices and your devotion.
Producer: “Is there an earthy flavor to it?”
Guy: “there is it’s when you go home and your flat on the garden”
Underrated.
Ciara blowing into a bottle and Lolsy pausing mid sentence then excitedly breaking into song was probably the most wholesome Try channel moment I've ever witnessed.
And she sang it beautifully
James "okay, uh huh, uh huh, oh yeah...absolutely" responses and faces while MC was going off about the visualization of the 2nd booze is killing me...He's just like, "Oh, for the love of all that's holy, just get to the booze!" lmao!!!
"That's like licking the inside of a fucking marker" 😆 definitely gonna use that from now on!
This channel should do a ‘behind the scenes’ video, I’d love to see what happens after they do these videos 😂
It's worth paying for their Patreon because they post bloopers and I hope they post some for this one. They posted one that had the Capri-Sun/Nicolas Cage rant that George and Dermot did.
what happens after one of these videos? My guess is they all get handed a rather big bucket, where they proceed to quickly fill it up.
@@WhosAGoodDogue Generally they several alcohol shoots on one day (the 4 hour advent calendar shoot may have almost killed them) which is why you'll see some folks wearing the same clothes in several videos. They have, I think, about 5 behind the scenes videos on their Patreon so they may post more. They do have longer shoots and some production stuff posted but I don't give enough to have access to them.
Head out to to the pub.
@@timothyeverson1795 They do that too! Nicole has talked about the one shoot she did with Dermot and George and the Mario Brothers video where the three of them just went out and continued at a pub.
Dermot has poured himself the biggest glasses of liquor every time. I love it. 🥃
I was noticing that, huge glass for a sip. Well except the last one, he drank it all.
Hey, it's free!!
Gary Rogers it’s free, but he’s not the only one drinking from that bottle!!
Dermot: "It's a bit much, isn't it?"
Ciara: "It tastes like apple juice."
Where was Ciara when I was single?
Do you think she was a bottle-fed baby?
I think almost everyone who follows the TRY channel wishes they'd had the chance to be friends with or date Ciara during their 20s and 30s.

congee... congee is amazing...
@@GewalfofWivia Congee is different, thicker. Rice soup is the water used to boil rice in sometimes. I lived in Beijing with my gf and I always looked at them funny when they drank the rice water. lol
You have to love the way everyone turned into Lolsy after trying the Chinese rice wine; well, except for Ciara of course.
7:07 or about there is the most distaste I've ever seen from her. Phenomenal self control.
That Chines Rice Wine is for cooking only really, sold in Asian supermarkets in the same section as soya sauce and other condiments.
7:17 or Ciara .exe stopped working
@@ourkeving So Ciara's biggest reaction so far is to briefly stare into the middle distance?
@@pedalart Absolutely correct. The bottles done for American export even have a separate warning label affixed - "NOT TO USED OR SOLD AS BEVERAGE".
Apparently, there *is* a 100-proof Chinese rice wine (baijiu) produced in Chengdu; it sounds like sickeningly sweet moonshine, according to the following. An exerpt: ". . . baijiu is much, much stronger. Indeed, only three summers ago I sampled homemade white wine from a farmer in southern Sichuan. I ended up sleeping in a cabbage field and I was drunk for two days!"
Alrighty then! But the stuff they drank is almost certainly Shao Xing. I have never seen baijiu in any American liquor store, nor in any Asian grocery store I've ever been in, and I've been in plenty of them!

One of my favorites. The Cast all work together beautifully. I’m realistic when I choose to comment, and I have not enjoyed some “TRY’s”, but this one was lovely
As if Lolsy wasn't adorable already, we need more drunk Lolsy. And Dermot. Ciara is a champ. They weren't before but MC and James are some of my favorites. Great vid!
Will Pereyra I just like mc not James the other gay guy is the best him and dermot and the black dude and sometimes the leather jacket guy are cool
@jslacson give her a chance! She was cool in the gummy one. Drinking ones are always tricky and they need to play off one another. Dermot seemed shitfaced, which is gold, and must have been tough to adjust for the newbie.
“It just tastes like vegetables”
“What kind of f@&king vegetables are you having?”
Potatoes
Are we going to talk about how full Dermot's and Laura's glasses are?
I'm glad at least we saw Dermot down the last glass.
Dermot was smashed after this, his eyes looked hella drunk! Go him!
Thank you. I was surprised at how much Dermot kept pouring every time.
Hahahah. I saw that too...
Jade Erickson if you’re getting paid to drink you might as well have fun doing it
A chance was missed here by not serving chinese baijiu. It’s something that’s really common in china but has a very particular taste. It usually doesn’t go down well on the first try so it would have been a lot of fun to watch.
Drop some big bucks and get maotai
i saw a video on a channel called How To Drink, the host made a drink called the Six Demon Bag, from the movie Big Trouble In Little China, and one of the ingredients for his drink was baijiu

Ginseng Ju tastes like "sweet dirt" . I used to drink it all of the time when I was stationed in S Korea. The clear Soju however can be used to strip paint, degrease engines and dissolve small lumps of concrete.
All my amazing nights out in S.Korea involved Soju or Makgeolli or both to be honest🤣
I have soju from 20 yrs ago when I spent a few months in Pohang
Very true 🤣
I was friends with a bar owners husband and he loved my friend and me. He would take us out to eat, and we would drink soju until the very end. He (owners husband) had 3 different jugs of ginseng soju that were aged very well. I'm talking 25-50 years plus, still sealed, and he opened them for us. He wouldnt even open them for his korean friends, but a couple of American soldiers who came to eat and drink with him, he did. The 125-year-old jug was so smooth and warm, that two 4 ounce glasses put me on my ass after eating a large lunch!
Sweet dirt? I should like that then
I love when he said 'oh the comment section'
