Oh Corpsetaker is wild. I kind of wonder if modded Inscryption will go the trajectory of 'nerf player cards so that it's a fight for survival instead of an I win button' or the trajectory of 'if the player's deck is crazy, just make the fights even crazier'

Yea i think everyone whos ever played this game wants a hard mode.
I'd prefer things get crazier, like having to deal more HP in order to win, decks using all of the resource types, and mixing and matching sigils from the different acts.

I really like the Alpha Elk, I think have a strong card that devolves into something weaker does show alot of potential.
also the mini moon is a great card and is probably the only thing that deadly is good on as it seems more so an anti-unit rather then a finisher (Maybe it the scales reached 10 rather then 5 this would be a more viable way to use it).
I'm pretty sure the mites are a joke card but you could put undying on it to make it a geck with extra steps
mites is feel bad as it's grimoras trash card(ie like squirrels, moxen, or empty vessals) but 1 bones.

@@woomod2445 that wouldn't work, because the only renovative source is energy, the other sets need other cards which must be free. In a nutshell, mites can't work as a side deck because you would need to kill a card to play any other card, but you can't play cards in the first place. Skeletons work because they are free.
You know, adding sigils/cards from the other acts is interesting.
would be interesting if the modders could bring the other categories (electricity and magic) to the first act

@@user-wv1in4pz2w I know somebody on the modding discord has at least tried getting the act three energy and mox drone to a useable state in act one, and a pvz mod in the works uses energy for its cards. (Though there's plans to rebrand energy to be more thematic.) Plus there is a mox mod that changes them to flowers for act one, though I've played with its bonus cards I've not experienced the mox cards first hand. Totem at start mod has shown that there are a solid few act three sigils that crash the game but a lots of sigils do work as intended outside of their origin acts.

Imagine transferring the mini moon sigil to Ouroborous, talk about a true card of DOOM. Imagine hitting 1000 four times 😳
Eh, would actually be a reduction in power as the moon strike sigil means it wouldn't do any direct damage unless the other side of the field was completely empty.
Just put the sigil on anything with the adder’s sigil, literally Insta kills everything and you don’t have to bother with ‘training’ the ouroboros
@@plaguelord22 the poison sigil isn't very good actually. It doesn't help doing direct damage.
@@Nukestarmaster The idea of putting it on Poison creatures is just to wipe the enemy board constantly, allowing high damage units to hit Leshy directly, as long as the Poison creature is placed on the left.

Also the Mini Moon works like the original moon, as it only attacks enemy cards, not the leader.
The moon can deal direct damage, but only if it’s unopposed in all lanes
Jesus the real moon is just complete and utter trash, especially as he is the "endboss".
I knew he was terribly bad but this way he is much much worse than I thought.

But when your deck runs out and the moon starts to have more damage is where the problem comes

Poisen = instant kill
Stink sigil (no idea what's its real name) = 0 dmg
A big deck = terrible stats
Dmg against you can be blocked by one unit => 1 somewhat strong unit can take him out and even if you don't have that strong unit in your hand right now, the damage can easily be blocked by a squirrel
@@Viel_Glueck Can't block the moon with squirrels; tidal lock instantly gibs chump blockers before damage.

I really like the alpha elk as a card "devolving!" Makes for a neat rushdown card. Also love putting in sigils from future acts so you can get the more complicated strategies in much better atmosphere. Kudos also for making Leshy comment on the new cards!
I had an idea for a challenge: The Pacifist Challenge (aka the Kingfisher challenge):
You have to try to win a run without killing creatures or letting your creatures die.
You get three strikes on each side, i.e., you may kill upto 2 creatures and are allowed to let upto 2 creatures die.
Third strike = Loss
Sacrificing a squirrel doesn't count as letting a creature die, but sacrificing any other creature is counted as letting your creature die.
Exceptions:
A creature that comes back to your hand after dying/sacrificing is not considered dead.
A creature with an infinite sacrifice sigil can only be considered dead when it is killed by an enemy.
After every boss fight, your 3 strikes are replenished for each side.
Letting a creature get hooked/hooking a creature is not considered a strike.
Applies only to creatures that can be sacrificed (Gold nuggets/trees/pelts/etc are not considered as deaths)
Does The Moon count as a kill?
Would be impossible if it counted as a “monster” you can’t kill so… yeah

Good points. The moon shouldn't be considered to be a creature I think. And moles could be considered to be part of the challenge, or could be, when the enemy plays it, considered to be an exception, depending on how difficult the challenge would be.
Does sacrificing the ghost cat or hungry child count as a strike on your side because they don’t have the sigil
For a really fun run, sacrifice an amoeba sigil to an undying creature. Most fun sigil combo in the game IMO

really awesome to see people making mods for this game! if there was ever a workshop update so setting these up would be easier the game could have such a huge life
There’s already some external 3rd party mod managers with inbuilt support for the game. I recommend overwolf/Thunderwolf(forgot which name was correct)

Leshy turning all your card into gold and that all of Leshy lane is blocked with the stomp, no one can attack.
It'd be a stalemate for a while, but then he'd hook one of your golds as the Angler.

It only attacks the opponent directly if there is no unit opposing on any lane
At 58:20 there is softlock potential. If none of the stumps die (whilst your side of the board is full) the board would be unrecoverable as he can't kill any of your gold cause the stumps are in the way and you can't play any card cause gold can't be sacrificed or destroyed by you
I think he'll eventually hook one of the nuggets getting a spot to play

This is the deck that should be used in the 400 hp final boss fight
i was going to say that the moon has 40 hp, not 400

He makes the owl die before it does anything because he played it in front of an adder:

first of all: it appeared to be one that transformed after a turn.
second of all: he played it in front of a fucking adder, of course it wasn't gonna survive?
@@shybandit521 what? How does it look like it's going to transform, it has no growth sigil just flying and spikes. And for your second point, who said anything about surviving? I was saying he probably thought something might happen when it gets hit, because its only interaction ability is spikes, which he let happen and nothing happened.

As a new challenge, I would like to see you push the starvation mechanic. I know that if you run out of cards the opponent gets new creatures, each stronger by +1/+1 I think for 4 turns, and then I think their cards get flying, but what if you can persist and keep blocking them?

Does fish bot have to say "good fish" for the card and can you only pull it against the photographer (the only place I've seen a good fish pulled, all other places result in pulling bad fish)
@@bensoncheung2801 I don't know about that. But I have seen Fishbot say it multiple times, and have seen the good fish card too. The reason I remember it was because of its ridiculous-ness.

the flame chaser (push 2 times at least for each camp and only use worm or adder on map 2 and 3 and forced to have fire when ever you know it is 100% possible)

The moon sigil does say it only does direct damage if all lanes are empty,much like the Actual moon
Just got this recommended to me and god I hope the modding community for this game gets support from the creator, this game's already has so much potential for game of the year and modding just makes that even better

Its pretty balanced, this deck just had some high sacrifice potential
A challenge I'd love to see is trying to get as many sigils as possible onto a single card. As far as I know sacrificing a card that start with two sigils like the pronghorn or moleman with transfer both sigils to the new card. Also when you combine cards with extra sigils at the mycologist, the new card keeps all the sigils from both. I wonder if there's a hard cap on how many can be combined.
About 8 or so, but without mods that fix this, it won’t render/display more than 4 sigil icons I believe
This was my favorite episode so far other than when you beat the game first try by getting scissors over and over again!
Also, I want to see you get a death card with the new custom card sigils and stuff!

No one I've seen has explained it, but in case anyone doesn't get it, the mini moon stopped the music because the game must have thought that the mini moon *was* the moon, and when you kill the moon, the music cuts as Leshy waits for the kill.
Im glad you hadnt abandon the game, and with mods is gonna get even better.
I like the long videos a lot. You should test everything you want and go as fast or slow as you want to.

Hey, I stay to watch the testing and gameplay. I do enjoy seeing you test cards and utilizing it in match. Love hearing you explain the logic. But that comes with years in MTG so maybe people will have other opinions.
Just a thought... what if you added the Triple Attack sigil onto the Mini Moon? 🤔
The moon attacks all lanes while only attacking directly once, whereas the multi-attack sigils attack directly multiple times. How about combining them for potentially *ten* direct attacks?
On the last turn you could have sacrificed the moon to play a 1 cost, then sacrificed your whole board to play the moon again. This mod is great, I love seeing new cards in action
I do like tests. I usually have to split the video into 2-3 parts across more days but I don't mind it too much.
Challenge: Only choose cards with 1 attack or less.

One of my new fav combos is just putting field mice/undying sigil on a skink. You end up with infinite tails.
Mini moon on the adder makes it a board wipe and almost an insta-win
I tend to use the ant sigil squirrel, as it's a way to just be able to spam units.

In science there’s a distinction between major moons (which have enough gravity to keep a spherical shape while in orbit) and minor moons (which don’t), since earth’s luna is a major, maybe the mini moon could be called a minor moon instead?

The moon strike sigil only dose damage if the board is clear it dose it in the bossfight too that's why the moon can pull squirls into orbit so it can't be infinitely blocked
44:00 If you look at the infinite squirrels run, you can see that the moon could only damage other cards but not the face. This led me to wonder if you were to have another infinite squirrel run, what would happen if you sacrificed over 100 squirrels to it.
We need Sun card. And Candle cards... And the whole elemental/fire mechanics sigils for them...
And everything else... This game could be so awesome with amount of possible mods!!!

I think the corpsewalker (necromancer) would make a great card to buff up ouroboros. It would gain 2/2 everytime it would be sacrificed, just like in act 2

You passed up an opportunity to visit the totem woman to undo the squirrel sac totem. Also, I would have liked to have seen you actually deploy the "bug" card, perhaps against the Moon.
Also, I was thinking it might be fun to have a "Nom Nom" card which would hungrily devour things. It could only be played on a card, like a sacrifice, but it would unconditionally devour everything including cards that cannot normally be sacrificed or infinite-sacrifice cards. If attacked, the card would destroy its attacker, but if not attacked on any particular turn it would die of starvation. The card should naturally have a "glowing" sigil on it to preclude adding any others. How would that sound as an idea?
my guess as to why the owl looks like bad fish is maybe there is no image for it, therefore it turns into bad fish (placeholder image)?

Usually the placeholder images are just blank, how strange. Could just be a mishap when assigning card art by name

So just like the normal moon i think the mini moon can only attack leshy if there is nothing else on the feld. Sounds like a card that would be very good with deadly but usless otherwise.

The best sigil I believe for the moon would be the poison sigil since it can hit all opponent card once

Please do a challenge where you have to take as many pack rats as possible. That would both be hilarious and challenging, since you won't be able to use items.
