I have both...why only choose one? I like the fold for thr big screen and the ultra for the cameras, battery life and Spen. One of these days hopefully samsung will build a fold ultra so i only meed one phone lol

I agree. I don't want a fold with a wider front screen. Pointless having a fold if the front screen is too wide. It's perfect how it is. Make u appreciate the fold when opening.
Agreed. Making the outer screen wider compromises the inner screen, making it more square. I’d rather optimize for the inner screen than outer. I didn’t buy a fold to use the outer screen.
But.... he didn't show or mention the 200mp capabilites of the 24. Where the fold caps at 50. So with the rear cameras there's a huge disparity. He showed 12mp or up to 50.
@christopherwilson2785 As a photographer, believe me when I say that megapixels do not matter. Most professional cameras are between 20 and 50 megapixels. All that gives you is your actual image size so unless you are printing the size of a billboard, you are NEVER going to need 200mp on social media or anything you're printing to hang up in your house. Sensor size is what matters to take in more light and detail of an image and a phone camera is only going to allow so much detail because sensors in phones are tiny. They both look great. The only way you would ever notice is if you zoomed literally all the way in on the images.
still rocking the s6 edge from 2015, I will upgrade it when it fully dies. I will probably go with a fold because it looks fancy and I have the money to spare. Hold strong old phone using brother

I just upgraded from the legendary Note 9 to the Fold 6 myself. Honestly, even after experiencing the difference, there's not much the newer devices bring to the table. It is still an upgrade, though nothing like the massive improvement I experienced when I went from an iPhone 6 to the Note 9 - there's just not much room left for improvement. I'd still be happily using my Note 9 but the screen, proximity sensor, and microphone needed replacing. It had already been though 3 screens, 4 batteries, 1 camera, 1 frame, the back glass and a charging port so I figured it was finally time to retire it.
I love my s24 ultra couldnt imagine switching it for the fold. My mom has the fold and it seems cool but the s24 ultra is just better for everyday use. And the battery life is insane, power went out due to the weather and my phone had battery for a day and half... and i the had phone at full brightness for basically the whole first day. In my opinion its the king of all androids. But both are awesome phones 😅
I have a previous fold model, I'm going to hold off on foldables for now after getting the black bar of death a total of 3 times. If the issue is ironed out, I'll definitely reconsider.
I ended keeping my OnePlus Open after I purchased the S24 Ultra because I love the foldable experience. I use the Open for al media consumption and the S24 Ultra for photos, S pen and other exclusive Samsung features. Great video! Thanks
Left the fold 4 for the s24 ultra.. and I absolutely loved my fold.. but instead of going for the fold 5 I wanted to see what they were going to do with the fold 6 screen size and upgrades... once I saw minimal (especially no screen size change) upgrade for the fold 6.. i jumped into the s24 ultra that was HEAVILY discounted right through samsung.. my reasons Battery size.. 45w charging.. brighter screen than my fold 4.. I work outdoors.. water and DUST resistance... s-pen IN THE PHONE.. If they just take the s24 ultra and make it foldable ULTRA with built in s-pen or like cj suggested by accident turn the current fold size top to bottom as a form factor.. we got a winner and I'm back.. till then I'll wait.. s24 ultra til then
Facts but fold takes the crown for the screens. Just depends on your needs and budget. A lot of tech nerds don't need the best cameras cuz we don't have anything to take photos of or people to share them with. 😅
I’ll go the the ultra. Cameras are just much better. Both great cameras. But can’t stand paying almost double the price for worse camera. I don’t multitask that much. And for media watching it’s only slightly bigger on the fold.

Surprisingly the Z Fold 6 cameras looked better! There was one video in particular where the Ultra white balance made the background look purple, while the Fold 6 looked white.
I have a s23ultra and I'm on the fence on deciding between The Z Fold6 vs S24Ultra. I had a Zfold 3 and 4 and both internal screens broke so that left me with a bad feeling but I have been told the Fold 5 and 6 durability is way better and they have solved the screen durability issues. The camera is not a huge deal breaker for me since the differences are minimal. Neither is the battery since I work from home. I think I'm leaning towards the Fold after this video.
Found your channel while doing some research on the Z Fold 6. Great video. I had an LG V60 and I really miss their version of the dual screen display. My Xperia 1 V just died so I'm now debating between the Fold6 vs S 24 Ultra. Leaning towards the Fold 6 because I have to carry two phones (one for work) and I think its slimmer factor when folded will be better for me. The battery life difference between the S24 and Fold 6 to me is not an issue but the camera difference is the one thing that's preventing me from pulling the trigger. Anyway, going to subscribe and looking towards your future content.
Switched from s24 ultra to z fold 6 and I got tell you I am enjoying. The cameras are a little weaker but for me it didn't make a big difference... and the battery life isn't as horrible as it may seem on paper..
Really enjoyed this vid CJ! I tried the Fold 6 last week for a few days just for fun. I'm an S24 Ultra user. I play a lot of COD mobile and watch a lot of TH-cam videos while I work during the day. I work from home so I usually blast the video through the phone speakers. I will say, the Fold 6 was fun, it was cool and the concept of it was just really fun. Loved watching content, gaming and folding it just to fold it haha. THAT BEING SAID, (😂) I have owned the Note 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10+, 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra and now the S24 Ultra. You can't beat the S Pen, cameras, battery life and durability of this phone. I have a lot more respect towards the Fold series now because I finally tried one, but man, the S24 Ultra is where it's at!

For me, the s24 ultra has better longevity. The folds are great, but i find it a little weird that the screen has a fold limit. Yeah, 200,000 folds is a lot. But it is still a limit on essentially a 2000 dollar investment.
I've been waiting for a video like this! I have been using my Note10 plus since it's birth ( Aug 2019) and it's turning 5 years old this month! I'm looking at upgrading to either the S24U, Fold 6 of maybe an Iphone16PM. I have never used an Iphone before. I think I'll wait and choose when the Iphone16 comes out next month. I'll definitely refer to this video before I make my decision. Thanks 😊
I would still opt for the Ultra. I am a strong advocate for getting a warranty on tech items, from watches to washers. So, Samsung Care+ is a must. With that being said, the past iterations of the Fold make me hesitant because Samsung has made it difficult to repair the device if something goes wrong. Navigating the process to potentially replace an $1800 phone would not only be a headache but could also push me away from Samsung products entirely. While drop protection for the Fold can be easily managed with an Otterbox or different case with S-Pen housing, concerns about the Fold itself and the possibility of one of the screens developing issues would keep me from choosing it.
I feel like why not, use the ultra as your phone and use the Fold 6 as your tablet. Literally just use them that way. I’m thinking about it. Instead of iPhone and iPad. 24ultra & Fold
Had the fold 3 and that outer display was horrendous. Now they on fold 6 a few mms bigger and still no stylus support on front screen and not to mention no stylus built in. Ill stick with my s24 ultra. Its an amazing device and won't be beaten in 2024
I also have them both. My Fold 6 is my business phone and the S24U is my personal. For business, you can't beat what the Fold 6 offers...just a multi-tasking beast of a phone. Having 2 apps up at the same time is crazy nice and I use that way more than I had expected to.
I loved my zf3 but so many problems with the big screen, I had to return the first one because the middle of the screen cracked from the inside or something and the big screen stop working. Did it again on the 2nd one and the last one the screen protector started to lift and I had to remove it then micro scratches started to appear in the middle of the screen that are just getting bigger and bigger. Switched to s24 ultra and I've been loving it, so for now as much as I love the zfold I can't get another until those problems get fixed. And it's not like I'm the unlucky person but I've seen it from others that get the same problem.
I have awesome battery life on my Z Fold 5 still. Not sure why people think Fold 6 has bad battery life. Awesome review. I'm still debating, but people also have to take price of the phone difference and there's a big difference in price....
It is literally a trade off, both are great, just gotta choose what you want and what you like. I am still rocking an old phone, but between the two its a great choice and could go either way. Only downside is the pricing
Being a Blogger/TH-camr Myself, S24 Ultra all the way has the best camera's to support the UHD Videos for TH-cam and other Social Media Platforms. Would want to give the Fold 6 a try as well, but man the price hike is so much, that would have to wait till it goes down in price, which it hopefully will after the iPhone 16 Series Launch. Very good comparison btw :)
If they add a s pen and larger outside screen and make the cameras the same as an ultra, and also make the battery life better. I'll go to a fold then, but the big internal screen is not quite worth the hand off. The ultra is still king for now ..
I've been thinking about doing the same. (Have the s23u) But I am worried about the cameras. I don't really use them THAT often, but when I do, man it's like professional grade. I watch a lot of youtube and twitch. Curious to see if you are still finding the experience better after the trade?
How is it holding up now after a few weeks? I have a note 30 ultra and if I don't trade it in this year I will lose my credits. Going for the s24 ultra or fold 6.
@@erfan5483 I'm not 100% sure about that tbh. It's not like etched glass it's actual texture. So if you're talking about random scratches not done intentionally I suppose possibly. But it's just the back glass, not the sides or from.

I ditched apple eco system as i loved the s24U too much and just purchased the ZF6 and its bad ass too i rock them both but i will say i use the z fold mainly as media consumption and sheduling out content with that larger screen.

man you keep talking about the experience on the foldable....the real estate...but failed to show how the experience is on the foldable or how multi media looks on both....
I almost switch from my 24 Ultra to the Flip. But that soft screen made me uncomfortable. But it felt good holding something with a cool outer screen and all that screen real estate. How did they make it lighter than the 24 Ultra? I know thr performance is abit behind the Ultra but still... amazing product.
Kind of upsetting that the s24 hasnt gotten a bigger battery the s20 ultra and up are all the same if you like taking photos get the s24 if you like drawing get the fold (pretty obvious) the fold does still have a crease which is pretty annoying but the front panel is a very nice touch and i like the thickness of the phone when its closed i do wish it was the same height and width of the s24 but as stated in the video its all about preference
S24 Ultra all the way. The Fold just can’t beat how good and powerful the S24 Ultra is. I switched from the Fold 5 to the S24 Ultra and I am not going back to a foldable until Samsung makes the Fold 10 times better and cuts down the cost

I also have them both. My Fold 6 is my business phone and the S24U is my personal. For business, you can't beat what the Fold 6 offers...just a multi-tasking beast of a phone. Having 2 apps up at the same time is crazy nice and I use that way more than I had expected to.
Both did well on the camera, but the S24U is a little better. I looked at your eyeglass frame... on ZF6, they looked grey, and S24U looked Black.
Way too close, theyre both great, pick according to your lifestyle

I loved my zf3 but so many problems with the big screen, I had to return the first one because the middle of the screen cracked from the inside or something and the big screen stop working. Did it again on the 2nd one and the last one the screen protector started to lift and I had to remove it then micro scratches started to appear in the middle of the screen that are just getting bigger and bigger. Switched to s24 ultra and I've been loving it, so for now as much as I love the zfold I can't get another until those problems get fixed. And it's not like I'm the unlucky person but I've seen it from others that get the same problem.
I have awesome battery life on my Z Fold 5 still. Not sure why people think Fold 6 has bad battery life. Awesome review. I'm still debating, but people also have to take price of the phone difference and there's a big difference in price....
Yeah, battery life is subjective to the user, and everyone gets different results. Glad your getting good battery life.

I had theZF3. I had to get it fixed/replaced 3 times because the screen failed along the crease. For price of the ZF6, I just can’t trust it.

It is literally a trade off, both are great, just gotta choose what you want and what you like. I am still rocking an old phone, but between the two its a great choice and could go either way. Only downside is the pricing

Being a Blogger/TH-camr Myself, S24 Ultra all the way has the best camera's to support the UHD Videos for TH-cam and other Social Media Platforms. Would want to give the Fold 6 a try as well, but man the price hike is so much, that would have to wait till it goes down in price, which it hopefully will after the iPhone 16 Series Launch. Very good comparison btw :)

If they add a s pen and larger outside screen and make the cameras the same as an ultra, and also make the battery life better. I'll go to a fold then, but the big internal screen is not quite worth the hand off. The ultra is still king for now ..

I just got my fold 6 two days ago. traded my s23 ultra, so far I love it. Its my first fold.
I've been thinking about doing the same. (Have the s23u) But I am worried about the cameras. I don't really use them THAT often, but when I do, man it's like professional grade.
I watch a lot of youtube and twitch.
Curious to see if you are still finding the experience better after the trade?
How is it holding up now after a few weeks? I have a note 30 ultra and if I don't trade it in this year I will lose my credits. Going for the s24 ultra or fold 6.

Crafted black if you don't use a case. Don't even need to buy a skin anymore! It's more grippy than a standard glass back.

@@erfan5483 I'm not 100% sure about that tbh. It's not like etched glass it's actual texture. So if you're talking about random scratches not done intentionally I suppose possibly. But it's just the back glass, not the sides or from.

I'm literally just copying and pasting a comment reply that i made. As a photographer, believe me when I say that megapixels do not matter. Most professional cameras are between 20 and 50 megapixels. All that gives you is your actual image size so unless you are printing the size of a billboard, you are NEVER going to need 200mp on social media or anything you're printing to hang up in your house. Sensor size is what matters to take in more light and detail of an image and a phone camera is only going to allow so much detail because sensors in phones are tiny. They both look great. The only way you would ever notice is if you zoomed literally all the way in on the images.
I went with the Fold because my other phone is an iPhone. I have no interest in having two candy bar phones.
I ditched apple eco system as i loved the s24U too much and just purchased the ZF6 and its bad ass too i rock them both but i will say i use the z fold mainly as media consumption and sheduling out content with that larger screen.

I almost switch from my 24 Ultra to the Flip. But that soft screen made me uncomfortable. But it felt good holding something with a cool outer screen and all that screen real estate. How did they make it lighter than the 24 Ultra? I know thr performance is abit behind the Ultra but still... amazing product.
Kind of upsetting that the s24 hasnt gotten a bigger battery the s20 ultra and up are all the same if you like taking photos get the s24 if you like drawing get the fold (pretty obvious) the fold does still have a crease which is pretty annoying but the front panel is a very nice touch and i like the thickness of the phone when its closed i do wish it was the same height and width of the s24 but as stated in the video its all about preference

S24 Ultra all the way. The Fold just can’t beat how good and powerful the S24 Ultra is. I switched from the Fold 5 to the S24 Ultra and I am not going back to a foldable until Samsung makes the Fold 10 times better and cuts down the cost
