Native Instruments releases Traktor 4 in 2024 when it should've been in 2016 and I'm like 🤷♂️ I see Ean Golden rock out on Traktor 4 and now I'm in the wet smelly basement looking for my Z1 and Midi Fighter! @nativeinstruments it will behoove you to make him your spokesman because he does more for Traktor than an👏y👏bod👏y !! SERIOUSLY!!!

Huge🙌 I've yet to use a S2 or Twister but both seem like such great tools for creating new music. this ontop of the flexible beat grids, and maximizer I think will make remixing older classic with new in bars and clubs to really get great sound out of it alone.
Still rocking the twister and midifighter pro here, thogvh my other half has started referring to them as “the battle bongos” cos i am not gentle. Best controllers ever.

Happy with the stems solution TBH because real time = real crap. Of course the effects routing in Traktor makes stems a really useful tool to apply to your sets.

How is Tracktor Pro 4 on CPU load and memory, the thing about Virtual DJ its not overloading my laptop. I liked the price it afford though, appeared to VDJ at £300 to £130

How did you mapped buttons to stems volume/mute ? I can't find them in the Traktor prefs in the controller page -> add ins ? Am I missing something ? thx !
I can't find it either. It looks as everyting stem deck mapping was removed in v4.0. Hopefully thats because they're tidying up something at it will be back again in the next update.
It's a $74.50 upgrade. store.djtechtools.com/products/traktor-pro-4-upgrade Worth noting, they added in the subscription only features and got rid subscriptions. We're grateful that there's no monthly charge, tbh
Man, would be great if you had some decent/working maps for Serato on the MFTT that aren't older than my deceased pets, , but it's all garbage. An expensive dust collector is what the MFTT has become.

how do you map the stem-sektion control ? i do not find the parameters to map, in the map control ?
the stem-control parameters are under: Deck Common/Submix/
Why not map STEMS using 12 knobs/buttons? You will have much better control of the STEM file during playing.

Found it :). Submix, then assign to slot 1 to 4 for the respective deck :). My midimix is very happy :)

I was a little disappointed that it’s not possible to create a remix deck from stems.
this! I never used the old stems feature but I love remix decks; this version seems to leave that feature deprecated and possibly abandoned 😞

I still think Traktor does efx and MIDI control far better than any other software.
