I’ve just been sent an EOX to look at… first impression is that they have addressed a lot of the issues I found in the Atlas 4 carbon and street… will head out for a ride to form a more thorough opinion… visor mech is more ‘Shoei-esque’ on the new helmet… vents appear better too. We will see… I’m a Shoei head but credit where it’s due, Ruroc are young and appear keen to learn.
Just bought the EOX version of this 3 hours ago... lol (only because it was 25% off, Bought it before I saw your review) 😅 I hope they've made improvements on the issues you've raised. Thanks for the direct honest review! ☺
I've got the 4.0 had it for over a year now. Great video, I think out of all the "cool" look lids on the market this Is still the best in term of quality and safety. As for the noise, I think it's subjective as I don't have the issues your describing. Cool colour though
@UuelHempkin-qh4jf I know a guy with one, sounds amazing, looks beautiful too, but not really my style though. it does seem like a cracking bike from what I've seen of my friends though! - I'm eyeing up the kawasaki z900 at the moment.
@erickarian8663 to be fair, I'd imagine the track would be better (I'd hope for the price at least) I think the visor issue is a complete gamble, since making this I've spoke to other people who have bought the atlas, some can change the visor easily, some have same issues as mine. I'm guessing the quality check process is a bit lacking. How ever everyone has agreed they're very noisy helmets. Best of luck with whichever you choose to do, ride safe!
Thanks for the review. I might get one for the looks but at least I'm informed about the downsides now.
@@JustTheHighlights they do look amazing to be fair! That's what made me buy it.
Thanks for the Ruroc info, was looking for info on noise, point made. Appreciate you. Cheers!
Thanks for checking it out - Glad it was helpful!

Well I've learned about helmets today.
Also what is that chair, that is cool!
@MrDillian haha, I'm not entirely sure what brand it is, got it in a sale a while back!

@@DatboyCarl hopefully they are a little less noisy and better built than this model 😅 hope this helped!
Hey have you received it and did you like it?
Nice review mukka
@@thepeakybiker thanks dude! 😁
I have one for sale near me for around £160. Would you think its worth it at that price? Brand new never worn. It is the raw carbon one.
@@turtl3r3aper84 yea, I'd say you can't complain for £160, sounds like a pretty good deal!

It wouldn't surprise me, with my luck that I got a defective one and that's what's causing the noise 😅
@thelimeyrider some people say it's noisey some don't, think it depends on your bonce and the size of the lid
I find my Shoei quite noisy, but most people say they're quiet🤦♂🤦♂
Nice looking helmet that Ruroc though
@@tojj29 they are lovely looking, but yea, I find mine a bit too noisy!
Would you ever get a harley sportster your opinion on harleys

I am so dumb, I be buying later find out the brand sucks 😭😭 I just bought the rurock atlas track, idk if I should cancel it haha

The testing does not include real world crashes, where the riders head is rapidly moving back and forth, then impacting at any number of spots..
@UberSlackr agreed, I am pretty skeptical at how safe it really is!
SHARP does that and they rated it a 4 out of 5 stars you can check it for yourself, they do 35 crashes with 7 helmets and show each pressurepoint
there are better helmets out there for the same price, especially at its full price
@KimmyR3 yea, I completely agree, like I said in the video I definitely would not pay the full price when it's not in a sale
The solution is so simple do not buy a ruroc.
@@SigurdurHreggvidsson I would have to agree! 😅 a lesson has been learned
That helmet is trash
It looks great, but yea.. there's some huge design flaws!
ruroc is garbo
@devilik3692 I like the look of them, but they just lack in quality and it seems practicality suffered for the sake of looks
