7:33 No, you were right first time. 😢😭 😊 I wish I'd learned to ride 20 years ago, but living in a huge city with excellent public transport, it never occurred to me. Still enjoying it 3 years in, but I don't really have that community feeling in real life.
I'm the same, I really wish I did it years ago! It's a shame you don't have the community where you are, I guess I am lucky with the groups I've come across!
Praise for the broken down 4 wheeler, that forced you on your path! 🤣👍 Your enthusiasm is awesome mate & it's a great hobby/pass time/obsession to have! 😎✌️
i was sold on being a biker from my first father in law. now twice divorced, i am still in love with motorcycles and 99 percent motorcyclist and as long as i can, i will ride. i do not feel comfortable in a 4 wheel vehicle anymore.
Throughout my adulthood I had many biker friends but bikes never interested me. What made me have a rethink was the year on year congestion and constant roadworks and as a result my journey times commuting to and from work was increasing week on week. Lockdown and the sh*te that was born from that, i.e., LTN's and the road closures/ restrictions which was dressed up as the climate crisis ideology made me have a rethink of how I was going to beat the congestion and I decided to do my cbt and I bought a CB125R to get to work on. I quickly fell in love with motorcycling and met many new friends through it and within months of doing my cbt I done my direct access and the rest is history. My only regret is I should have done it 30 years ago lol
@BMCMOTOUK that's sone mileage! So far I've put 7k miles on my suzuki, about 200 miles on my sinnis and I reckon I did about 1-1.5k on my 125 before moving up

I don't think I'll ever stop loving motorcycles now, I'm the same - I'm more at home on 2 wheels than on 4
