The Hebrew Bible presents the Israelites as God’s perpetually chosen people. Historically, Christians claimed that the Church replaced the Jews as God’s chosen people, but in the last two centuries, a strong movement has developed that considers Israel to still be chosen, in addition to the Church. Christianity inherited from Judaism its misunderstanding of “chosen” as meaning “best”, which is irreconcilable with the history of both faiths. On the other hand, discussions of this concept in the Qur’an consistently conflate different terms and concepts. This video brings new insights to show the Qur’an’s clear, consistent, and compelling explanation of the chosenness of the Israelites. It reveals the misrepresentation of this concept in Judaism, which Christianity inherited. It concludes that the chosenness of Israel ended when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent by Allah as the last Prophet.

Respectfully, I found the scholarly knowledge of Louay Fatoohi as thought-provoking. I'm a simple Christian believer. I like when Dr. Fatoohi mentioned individuality, because our perception of "chosenness" should have a strong correlation with the concept of God's "gift".
      That's my own view. Respectfully...

The secret about converts being special in Dawah: Surat Al hadeed
O you who believe, have fear of displeasing God, and believe in His Prophet. He will give you twice as much of His bounty and place a light for you to walk in, and forgive you, for God is forgiving and kind; (28) So that the people of the Book may know that they have not the least power over the bounty of God, and that the bounty is wholly in the hands of God to give whosoever He please, for God is the master of infinite bounty. Sons of Israel were favored with many miracles and the responsibility to spread the light of truth.
Despite the miracles they were favored with, they failed with carrying that responsibility.
May Allah aid us in carrying the responsibility of Islam.

According to a study published in June 2017 by Ranajit Das, Paul Wexler, Mehdi Pirooznia, and Eran Elhaik in Frontiers in Genetics, "in a principal component analysis (PCA) [of DNA], the ancient Levantines clustered predominantly with modern-day Palestinians and [levant] Bedouins..." and that Palestinians have a "predominant" ancient levantine origin.[15] In a study published in August 2017 by Marc Haber et al. in The American Journal of Human Genetics, the authors concluded that: "The overlap between the Bronze Age and present-day Levantines suggests a degree of genetic continuity in the region."[18]A 2021 study by the New York Genome Center found that the predominant component of the DNA of modern Palestinians matches that of Bronze Age Palestinians (Canaanites) from around 2500-1700 BCE.[17]. The Palestinians are the original jews and Israelites. As an Israelite and an historian who has had the privilege to study history from primary sources available to serious academics I can assure you that our Torah starts with Genesis ie human origins IE Black people and that we are on a Black planet and that we are responsible for everything associated with civilization and culture throughout history wherever we find modernity. Socalled nonblack people have only been on the planet for six to ten thousand years and have no known origins IE they have yet to explain how they came into being and where they came from. They are not light skinned Black people as some would have us believe. Why are they concerned about our family history and our relationship with OUR G-d? They are basically saying we know we don't have a history or heritage apart from barbarism, so we will pretend that a book about a particular group of Black people is not about Black people but Caucasians. Really demonic savagery.

Please see Anacalypsis by G Higgins and Black Sambo documentary on TH-cam. Ask yourself, why do socalled nonblack people concern themselves with a family history that has nothing to do with anyone else? Religion was created to usurp our divine authority. Our Father only loves Israelites and could care less about anyone else. This is in our records. We are the rightful rulers of the world. Actual history proves this fact. As someone who visits libraries and museums I am fascinated by the fact more people are not aware of the fact that socalled nonblack people have stolen everything they have from us wherever we find modernity throughout history. discipline 125%.
      Greetings, blessings to you
      I want to share something.
The Children of Israel were descendants of Jacob, most of them lived in the Arabian peninsula at that time.
Meanwhile, children of Ismail settled in Mecca and were honored to be the custodians of the Kaaba, the holiest of the holy.
(Notice the situation above is the prefix why the future jews ( who were not Israelites) has to create their priesthood books to exagregated about children of Israil as the chosen people)
Jacob and their tribes were living nomadic, at the time of Joseph, Jacob and his 12 sons and followers settled in a city in the southwest of the Arabian peninsula.
Al Yahud or Jews in the plural form is different from the children of Israel, Yahudiya or Jews never come from the direct lineage of Israel.
The truth is that the Jews were the tribes who carried out acts of resistance and ultimately fought against the prophets of the children of Israel, such as Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, the son of Mary and the believers among the children of Israel, many of these prophets were killed by the Jews (yahudiya), the Jews took the priesthood of the prophets of the Children of Israel, namely Zacharie, Yohanes (Yahya), but they failed to kill Isa, son of Maryam.
The Jews said that they were the children of Judah, this claim was false because it was the jews themselves who corrupted the holy books of the prophets, they made their own priesthood books rather than the scrolls of Musa.
      Peace

Well they’re still betraying that covenant (as are their allies) - it is abundantly clear they all they worship is gold…. and they want all the worlds gold. Evil has entered through that desire. All consideration of humanity has been trampled underfoot as they pursue this

I appreciate your honesty and I understand your observations. However, I think human nature itself has the propensity to disobey God and to "worship" those things which destroy our relationship with God. Oftentimes we are not aware of what's happening.
So I think your observation could apply to human nature itself.
      That's my own view. Respectfully...

But the Quran points to the following reasons as the deal breaker.
      1: killing of Prophets
2: disbelieving them and calling them liars
3: attempting to kill jesus and accusing mary of adultery
      4:breaking their covenant with God.

An Israelite can be Jewish, Christian, or Muslim, but not all Israelites are Jews. Therefore, the promise of the Holy Land to Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) is based on righteousness, not solely on being an Israelite. Being an Israelite does not guarantee immunity from punishment for sins, as seen in the case of the Israelites after their sin against Jesus (PBUH). They were punished by God and scattered around the world.

I think the earliest convenant is the adam convenant. In that time god was well known so the only command was not to come near a certain tree. Then noah (a few more laws), then moses (more laws), the prophets, ..Jesus (clarification), and finally Muhammad convenant which concludes it all.
    { وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِيثَٰقَهُمۡ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٖ وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَۖ وَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظٗا }

Not like that: Before Adam was created, Allah said to the Angels: am going to create a vicegerent on earth. That means Adam and his wife were meant to be on earth and Not in heaven.
So the forbidding of the tree and appearance of satan to him, was not a covenant but a trial and a lesson to him. Adam learnt many important lessons from this episode including:
1: Learning his true enemy (satan).
2: Learning the consequence of disobeying Allah.
3: Forgiveness and return to Allah.
The convent with Adam starts here:
      Quran 2:38
We said: “Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
From then on he was suppose to obey Allah, receive the guidance from Him and if he does that, he will see No fear or sorrow. Not only that but they will return to paradise again.

Another subtlety is Allah's choice of the word للناس (FOR the people) instead of the phrase من الناس (FROM the people). This shows that the believers are not the best on virtue of being part of a nation. It shows instead that the best nation is one which will want people from other nations to join it, such that the 'nation' is defined as a spiritual one, as opposed to an ethnic one.
