I have looked at literally dozens of videos trying to figure out shipping and your video has been the most useful and thorough I have found. I am blind… Yes, blind people can do a lot of things, and your video was very clear in spite of not being able to see it your description was great! thank you for your question, so when I say "looked "I mean go through different videos not necessarily literally visually looking at them I mean listening to them. I was previously cited so I have some visual reference to a lot of things and I can get an idea in my mind of what people are talking about, but a lot of things are new to me so I literally don't know what it looks like or watt they might be talking about since the concept is new to me in terms of hands-on or just generally speaking. A lot of blind people use assistive technology specifically something called screen reader like on the iPhone for example it's called voiceover which is included in the accessibility section of the settings and you have to learn how to use the gestures to navigate the phone, like a cited person would but with different gestures. and use dictation to write this message for example. For a laptop or PC there are also screen readers available but he gets tricky since you have to learn a lot of shortcuts for those of us who don't use the mouse, everything is a shortcut key. All this sounds easier said than done, it takes a lot of work to learn to navigate with all these technology not being fully accessible, now that I am blind I realize how when I was cited it never even crossed my mind how everything literally is made just for side of people so there's a lot of hurdles to get through every day technology being a major one. Bottom line for TH-cam videos I stick around when I hear that description of the video is pretty detailed and like I mentioned before yours is a really great I truly appreciate that because it's the main way that it helps me understand the process. by the way I started my business about two months ago though I'm not on marketplace yet because I'm still working out some logistics again because of the blindness, but I know I will get there and your video was very helpful and motivated me to move forward. This is my first time sending with my own label. Thank you so much for the step by step. Even in the end where you went into the post office. I thought I had to wait in line to send it, but now I know I can just drop it in the slide container thingy, lol. Thanks again for info!

Where did you get this black page with the shipping info. I hit marketplace and looked for the shipping icon, and all I get is a white page with no shipping icon. is this video outdated.
What I don’t understand is how does entering weight only (without destination and dimensions) cover the actual cost of shipping? When first making listing. I enter pkg weight and it says it will cost approx $18 for shipping. However, living in the Midwest I could pay $20 to send to NY or $40 to CA if I enter pkg weight and dimensions into Pirateship!?

hi question i got is i send stuff trugh fb market but when i try making lable trugh pirate ship says like 11 dls is that gona go trugh fb i wonder cause i hear people say they can pay trugh paypal or venmo but dunno how that works cause i try shiping trugh pirate lable but says 15 dls make lable which selling item for 10dls hehe i know aint much the stuff selling but wanted give it a try first

Facebook does not have that option yet, you would have to purchase through pirate ship with the 2x7 settings and upload the tracking manually.

i see what you are getting at & im assuming mostly, but you could probably get away with it depending on whos working that day. thing is as soon as it goes missing somebody gets a free lamp and has no clue why lol, youd prolly never get it back.
It looks like there is no way to print out a packing list to include with the items so the buyer knows who it was from and the items in the box? This seem absurd that there is not way to do this. Am I missing something?

I'm not sure Facebooks policy, and I haven't had that happen to me personally yet. If Facebook wants marketplace to be successful then they have to offer Fair resolutions for both parties. I will be sure to update if it happens to me.

Priority boxes are only for priority mail.
A lot of people don’t know but it’s considered mail fraud using USPS material when not sending package through that exact service just FYI
If anyone is reading this can you please help me as soon as possible. I have some items to ship I'm at the post office and the only boxes they have is priority mail boxes. The agent said that I should make sure that it's okay to mail it in these first. Does anyone know how that works because I'm getting my label printed through Facebook not the post office
If you are sending USPS priority (over 1 lb) on Facebook shipping that's ok. UPS or USPS first class no.

USPS priority mail boxes are free. You must have purchased a ready post box?

I feel the printer stuff is for ppl who have a whole lot of stuff they sell like as an actual business but buy all that just for ONE product every month or so ? just my thoughts .. but thanks for that .. plus it depends on your area .. if you're UP NORTH I bet its more expensive than me being in the SOUTH ..
