What a gift you are Spielberg! I can so relate with your intro. Indeed verbal communication is the least reliable type 😛 When we are immersed in the wild for long enough, we get the feeling that this is our home, that we belong. We are Nature. (A friend would argue that nature is a concept invented by humans that creates division :-) I’ve missed your videos & can’t wait for the next episode! More Montana please!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us (and the church group!), encounters, thoughts, difficulties, spectacular views, steam train and Jeep rides with us! Did I mention you made me cry and almost made me regret not to be with y’all! Fist bump (and hug)! Pain Perdu 🥐
So happy to see the majesty and your attention to the multitudes. But a true highlight is seeing our daughter, Twist, with her PCT-discovered beau, Parachute, as they reconnect with Deadpool. Watching them in action is a gift - swells my thru-hiker Mama heart! And aesthetically you have captured such expansive beauty and wonderful detail. Many thanks! Syb
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos, and am grateful to have been able to hike so much of this trail with your amazing daughter - she’s smart, funny, sincere and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her and Parachute.
My heart is full! The beauty shown through your artistic nature is overwhelming. My thought was while watching was that NATURE gets to just BE. She invites us in to join her and is so accepting of Us. Thank you, for taking Us with you. It is so meaningful to me. ❤
Absolutely incredible episode! I am compelled to comment, particularly on the music early on. It compliments and highlights the meditative and spiritual aura of nature, solitude and your gorgeous cinematography. How absolutely you got to enjoy time with boys on their camping adventure. They looked really pleased you gave them a good talk & bet some will have thruhiking in their future. Those wild horses, so beautiful, that had of been thrilling. The vistas are breathtaking, then you went North, OMG, so very beautiful! That waterfall shot echoing your PCT videos. I can barely wait for your next video! ❤️❤️📽️📽️📽️📽️
That means a lot to me, Donna - thank you!!! What a great memory to connect the waterfall to the one in my PCT video from Yosemite. Waterfalls are definitely meaningful to me in more than just their beauty.
Craig....that was shocking... I've followed u for a few years now. My wife is giving me a hard time just watching this one.....That was an epic episode to say the least. After your PCT videos I bought a backpack and hiked a few weeks on the AT.... this one may drive me to retire. You capture more....show more....no words. Thank u so much.... that was your best and i've seen them all.
Thank you for sharing that with me. Knowing that something I’ve done has been a part of people getting out on the trail makes all the hard work and time I put into the videos worth it. Please don’t retire from hiking 😁
Retire!!!!! Don't wait! You never know when an adventure like this will no longer be a possibility. I hiked the CDT in 2021 (at 57) and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it. These videos of Craig's have literally brought me to tears. Not just because of the memories but his narrative captures the spirit of the experience. ~StormDasher
@@daviddejong2756 Thank you so much - your comment made my day! My goal with these videos is to not just show to the journey and the beauty, but to hopefully let the viewer feel what I’m feeling. Your comment tells me it’s working. Thanks again!
Shook my head & smiled all the way through watching. Your hikes are simply unlike any other’s & I just am in awe of the beauty & narration of your journeys. So stunning & inspiring!!
Spectacular beauty, peace, majesty, and joy. A glorious way to end the day. Thank you for so generously sharing your adventure with those of us who follow along with you. I am forever grateful. Be safe my friend. ♥
Oh my gosh, this was so absolutely amazing! Parts of the world I know I will never get to see. Thank you so very much. I hope your next video is longer. Ha ha.
Wow, wow, wow! You captured so many unbelievable views in this video, it's simply amazing. Appreciate all the time it must have taken to edit and add the music which was a great fit. You hiking at the 13:45 mark is a classic frame-worthy photo. Thanks
Wow planes, trains and automobiles for sure what a journey 😊. Glad to see you’re navigating, enjoying and experiencing life and nature in such an fulfilling way!!
Another epic video, filmed, cut and produced to perfection. I appreciate greatly the huge effort and considerable time you are putting into these films and am truly thankful for every minute of them. You portrait the overwhelming beauty of nature so well and let us all participate in the joy you experience. Safe travels!
What beauty the earth has to offer us - if only we would pay attention. Your filming is spectacular and the music you chose is so perfect! I get teary watching between the nature and music. Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure. PS I am deadpools mother and so glad to be seeing what you and the group are experienceing first hand. And yes I would love to be there!!!
Thank you for sharing your videos! They are a pleasure to watch! Amazingly well compiled! So excited for the upcoming videos with Twist & Parachute (my son)!!! ❤
So glad you’re enjoying them! I feel fortunate to have been able to hike with your son, who is wonderful and kind, generous and patient. I hope you like the next video coming out on Friday (if all goes well)!
Loved your comments on nature speaking to us. You have an amazing gift of portraying the beauty of the trail! Psalm 19: The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.
Thank you so much! I’m sure I must have read that Psalm before, but it feels new, with fresh meaning and so appropriate to what I am experiencing out here. Thanks again!
❤ love this! But where’s video #6? I’m taking a few days break to heal my knee, avoid record heat wave and attend PCT days before proceeding into Washington. Love catching up with your videos Craig. Spectacular!
@@craig.m.spielberg I thought so, I can’t remember what day it is is when I’m on trail so I stopped trying to say what day it is on my mini instagram videos. Lol

Great episode, beautiful landscapes and nice folks. Keep it up, I enjoyed it.
