- On July 17th, 2022, I set out to walk from Canada to Mexico along the Pacific Crest Trail. Why? To see if I could I suppose. Here is a look into my experience. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed making it.

I've seen so many NOBO videos I can't count. Such a treat to see the journey heading south. Such a wonderful video. Thank you for taking us along.

I just dunked that like button into a jar of Nutella, sprinkled it with bacon bits and drenched it in olive oil while wrapping it in a tortilla. Boom! Absolutely loved it, Golden! Can’t wait until we get the chance to hike again. Regards, Rock Solid!

having "sectioned" quite a bit of the PCT, Ya did very good with conveying Your Journey without alot of "fluff" Wonderful "music choices" the way You carry Yourself, have alot of faith in the Younger generation. And it seems I missed X'n paths with Ya by jus' days, was in the Cascades early August ... yep, still quite a bit of snow, but still Beautiful.

This was absolutely wonderful in so many ways. Nice to see a southern PCT hike for a change. The story, the scenery, the music was all done to perfection. The young lady was so chill about such a great adventure, challenge and everything that came with it. Thank you for sharing. Hopefully you will do another hike like AT or CDT “backwards” and share it with us. Thank you again

So fun to see the southern journey for once, thank you for sharing your experience. Not having to deal with the Sierra snow or the extreme desert heat is a real plus!

Just beautiful. Love the pace and editing and music. Great experience from start to finish. All the NOBOs show the Sierras as snowy and icy messes. Looks like a high desert from your vantage point.

Congratz on your epic journey Ashley and thanks for sharing it with us. Going SOBO on the PCT seems so different than the early NOBOs, still having snow for large stretches from the Sierra's and all the way into OR. Where as u get snow in the desert.

I watch this video right before before I leave for a long hike. Here I am again, watching it prior to my next long hike next week, just to hype myself up. Thanks for making one of my favorite hiking videos that I keep going back to again and again like a little kid watching their favorite Disney movie on VHS until it eventually breaks and the parents have to go out and buy a new one.

I live in bend and occasionally pick up PCTers coming through. I picked up one dude from Canada going SOBO last year and hiked a bit with him near Elk lake. Hikers are moving pretty quick by the time they get to bend. He was just chuggin along at his own pace it was pretty cool. Hope he made it all the way to Mexico haha

I've watched this video three times now and have to say that it is my favorite PCT video. The story is compelling. The video composition is excellent as is the music. It relatable because it is about your journey that you are sharing with us the viewer. Other videos spend focus too much on the cool people they hang out with and are sharing the experience with. It is hard to relate to that because I feel like I am just an observer of their good times, not a part of it. Your humility is endearing and ultimately makes the story work. Thank you for your efforts to create such a good story to share with the rest of us.

Great video! Thanks for posting a SOBO video. I hike in the Alps every season and try to do the long trails. I've hike the E5 and from Munich to Venice on the "Dream Way". I totally get the 10000' elevation sign and the "this is why I'm struggling so much".

I've completed the PCT three times in my many National Scenic Trails adventures... My first time was SOBO so your video touched me as it brought back endless memories.

Vour video is a very good advertisement for walking SOBO. I know that this is not the whole truth, but you did it with such ease that it seems like a sunday walk in the park 🙃😊. Very cool!
For comparison I highly recommend to watch "The long way home" from Titouan Le Roux. With an epic strech over San Jacinto and trough the Sierra. He walked NOBO without skipping sections in 2023, the year with the highest snowpack ever.
