Really nice slick loading system my friend, love it just solved my greatest concern of getting back into snowmobiling in retirement. No need for a trailer and the aggravation of storing it etc. Love it huge👍up!
This is the best system I have seen for loading a sled into a pickup. It is fast to load and appears to be very safe. I just wish the video was not so dark. It is very hard to see how this was built. I also wish a materials list for the system was available.
Very nice work sir. This seems to be a good next project for me as soon as I finish welding up my gas/cargo rack for my switchback. Don't want to rip off the 500$ plastic tailgate lip now.. The whole pivoting thing is a good concept but seems complicated to design it and get it right. I will probably build an elevated deck however, as it will give me a place to store my ice fishing gear under the deck/sled.
Any chance u could send pictures of the sliding action in the channel iron. Started building one and it would be nice to take the guess work out by seeing what exactly you did
awesome idea, I built one just like it........I've having issues with the weight I have to lift though. I have a newer f250 with a small lift. I can't seem to get the weight far enough ahead.......adding a small winch this week to pull it in the truck. gravity is doing a fine job taking it out.....lol
hey you should try loading a sled off a snow bank into the back of your truck at rimrock lake on white pass i noticed the wa plates and thought id give you a good idea i live in west valley by yakima so lets go riding man
+Scott Conley Do you have to still have a material list and sketch up plan of a deck like this? Would greatly appreciate it if you could send me one. Thanks
I have one of those trifolds and it works, but tying it in the truck so it doesn't get away or scratch something is always a pain. While this may take up more room off season it sure does store nice when you're using it.
The ramp is nice but let's talk about that Ford crew cab 6.7 powerstoke b 20. What is that a 2012 or 2014 or in between. Aether way it is nice that's all I watched on this vid and you just got a new subscriber because of it.
We (brother in law and myself) bought a 1/2 ton beam trolley. Cut it in half and added foot of plate in between tje wheels to keep ramp straight. Princessauto (canada) had the on sale for $50. Probably cheaper and harbor freight pr nothern tool.......
I'm building one now. Here's what I have so far: 40' - 2"x1"x16 gauge - cut 48" wide for cross beams 20' - 3" C-channel - 3.5#/ft 40' - 1"x1"x 16 gauge square tubing for 5" side rails (instead of the flat strap he uses for the sides) 20' - 1.5"x1.5"x 1/8" square tubing for rocker assembly 1' - 2"x2"x5/16" square tubing for receiver hitch
@@8spc1 hello, I saw your assembly and its very Nice ! I am looking to fabricate one for myself, could it be possible to Messenger you on Facebook, I have couple questions about that ! Thank you so Much.
Check out my videos of the one I built. I included a sketchup design plans. In theory it would work in a ranger, however the space between the wheel wells could create a issue.
You know what a really cheap sled deck that actually comes with all trucks from factory is..... The truck bed its self. But yeah this is actually pretty nice because you don't need to carry ramps or find a snow pile
Thanks for the reply... I will consider that. I need something just like this that will clear the wheel wells of a mid size Dodge Dakota truck. That might require more materials and more money...
Really nice slick loading system my friend, love it just solved my greatest concern of getting back into snowmobiling in retirement. No need for a trailer and the aggravation of storing it etc. Love it huge👍up!
That's perfect, I never thought of backing up to partially load. Now I want one too.

Best design I've seen yet. You should patent and sell them. Nice work!

Great looking rig. Would you have plans so I could build one of these? Material size, measurements etc. Thanks
wow Now there's a good way to load up you snowmobile ,Thanks

Nice design, good quality. Well done.
This is an amazing build. Nice work!

probably too short of ramp so you have more weigh, cuz those yamaha 4 strokes in this video are beasts and not light lol
Amazing, great job of explaining too! Do you have Plans tho?
outstanding job well thought out
Great build
Not to shabby! nice job!
Any chance you can send me plans for this- amazing!

I would love to get the plans on this
Great, do you have any pics or plans?
Man that`s pretty cool I need something like that.
That's bad ass! Great job

Nice work dude
where do I get the plans for this deck? How much for them. Great Idea.
How can I contact you about getting these plans? This is exactly what I am looking for!
Looks very well built .. A little hard to see exactly how it's built from a Video however..
Do you have plans for this build? Or can you make them to purchase?

That's badass looking. For $250, you want to make one for me to fit in my f150

I'm pretty new to trucks...Looks like an f-250 supercrew. What size is the bed 6.5ft?
Need plans man!
Great job
Now i want that very smart
Do you have the plans for this deck? Are you selling them?
Can I buy a material list or a blueprint
is that a tunnel extension on that sled and if so what brand and how long
Hey Scott I'm interested in purchasing one of your sled decks. How do I go about contacting you to have one built?
Very Cool!
Pretty cool system! I just use a cheap aluminum tri-fold ramp, it works well enough.
I have one of those trifolds and it works, but tying it in the truck so it doesn't get away or scratch something is always a pain. While this may take up more room off season it sure does store nice when you're using it.
SkidooMXZTNT , me too
that's sweet! good job!
Can u please send me some pics of the pivot system/parts.
Dude Fantastic!! Nice Apex though #Yamaha

Its a 2008-2010 model year. Different side badging from the 2011+
oh well it is fcck nice
Lol yeah
Like I said it got you a new sub pleas make a vid on it pleas
Where did you buy the deck from? Or did you build it from scratch?
"Home made single sled deck for $250. The design can be changed to suit any truck." Read describtion (spelling).
Got better pics and info to make this?
That's awesome
Where can I find this ? Do you have a website? or Ebay ?
can u send me some pics ? Whaere did u get the small casters ?

Scott Conley
combien$ how many $ ?
would this work for atv
Where can i buy it ??
Did anyone ever get the blueprints to make this thing?
i think i would strap my sled down before i backed up the truck lol, my luck the sled would roll back off sideways somehow
Nice!
How can I get one
Buy it.
I'm building one now. Here's what I have so far:
40' - 2"x1"x16 gauge - cut 48" wide for cross beams
20' - 3" C-channel - 3.5#/ft
40' - 1"x1"x 16 gauge square tubing for 5" side rails (instead of the flat strap he uses for the sides)
20' - 1.5"x1.5"x 1/8" square tubing for rocker assembly
1' - 2"x2"x5/16" square tubing for receiver hitch
I have the bed part built and I'm just about to paint and install the carbide protectors

Do you have any pics or drawings/sketches for the rest of us?
+Scott Conley any updates on your build?
Sure do! Look at my videos, it's done with sketchup plans. Enjoy!

anyone got a material list fot a smaller truck like a ford ranger
Check out my videos of the one I built. I included a sketchup design plans. In theory it would work in a ranger, however the space between the wheel wells could create a issue.
Wouldn't be much more fun driving the snowmobile to the area of operation? Bring an extra can or two of fuel and your set.
That would be great though illegal, (at least in most states in the northeast) to everyone who doesn’t own property that touches a trails.
Too bad I have a short bed truck with a toolbox and a 12 ft sled. My ghetto sled deck is the only thing I can get to work besides a trailer
berg580fe I'll order one..I'm in montana
You know what a really cheap sled deck that actually comes with all trucks from factory is..... The truck bed its self. But yeah this is actually pretty nice because you don't need to carry ramps or find a snow pile
Suppose that would work if you don’t mind carbides chewing up your truck bed/bed liner.
@@OctopusPrime138 it’s a truck so I dont care
Tried to take my tailgate off in 10 minutes, the back up camera said that was a lie
he forgot to mention, only one available
Get a better Camera man that's brutal to watch. And it's a great product. But now I'm dizzy
hook me up!
I will give you 500 if you make me one.
maybe a $1000, materials are $250 alone, I wouldnt even mak it for $1000, wouldnt be worth it, maybe 1250.
