Run a ratchet strap under the track to the rear bed side stake pockets, couple clicks and the ass end of the sled is high enough to slide the ramp underneath
nice ramp .hook the strap up before you fold down the sides .easier to get under . now build you plywood box off the deck of the truck 4 inches give or take then you can slide the ramp under the wood deck . don't have to worry about scratching up the sled , also no lifting of the sled .just put a strap or pin the ramp in , sled only sits 4 or 5 inches higher in the box . .oh yeah .put slider on the wood in the box then the sled go in and out so easy .nice sled
This is just out of opinion but I love trucks and I'm only 12 but I really think you should do a truck review because from you summer camp trip that you did last year you had the older 250 or 350 whatever it was and now you have a newer 250 or 350. That's just my opinion though. I love you videos and please never stop making them😆
I think that’s very awesome I have a two place snowmobile Trailer. For me the back of the truck would be the best idea then I don’t have to pull my trailer all the way up north with only one snowmobile on it. I live in Rockford Illinois. Up to the Upper peninsula. Going to order one see how it goes
Ive built a ramp in my truck, put it in and you're good to go. Built a box tall enough for the ramp to slide under it, build the ramp so you can slide it in under the box. All around 100 bucks. Pull it out, strap it to the truck and slides back in the truck with no issues. And it will also give you weight in the back of the truck for winter driving instead of getting sand bags. Win win and cheaper then this
Can someone tell me the height of the ramp when folded in, gonna make a plateform in the bed so I can slide the ramp under it, don't see it on the website, thanks nice video
I was thinking the same thing. Put some sliding rails in and have the ramp attached to the rails. Pull the ramp out, open the wings and you're set to go.
Will this still work for short box trucks? Considering upgrading to a 146 or so.....just want to make sure I'd be ok. Never put the snowmobile in a truck before. I see companies make the tailgate supports in case there is worry of too much weight on it....
The ramp works but that seem like a lot of work to haul a sled You can buy a nice two place aluminum snowmobile trailer for $800 average, I paid $600 for mine and all you have to do is drive it on and tighten down the ski hold downs.
+LT4 IROC-Z if you live in a city, the trailer is horrible. I had one and theres no chance in hell I'll go through that again. This ramp makes it easy to load and unload. I have the same one, went through 3 different ones but this ramp has been the best
Well you have to register it and you don't a ramp. Also a truck drives so much better with a sled in the back vs trailer. Your sled even with a factory cover eats a heck of a lot less salt and dirt since no way your getting a enclose or maybe even a salt shield at that price. There is basically 0 maintenance on a ramp. Plus not everyone has a place to park a trailer. Only thing that suck for this one is it doesn't fold up enough but tough to have good function and still be short and compact. My tri fold ATV is steep and narrow, and everyone else is afraid to load with it. Do what works for you, I usually have a spare sled in the back and a trailer full so I can put the ramp in the trailer.
A lot of places I ride it can be a real pain to get a trailer turned around. Depending on where I’m going it’s way easier to leave the trailer and use the ramp
Paid $3750 CAD For a 472CC 100HP Kit and got a bad cylinder... ... Thats why nothing yet... facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10156448505675702 Pic is a link from my FB page, if link dont work facebook.com/starpuss
+PowerModz Thanks! I've been searching for good ones with a loose collar on them to go over my jacket and it looked like the ones in the video fit the bill without being too stiff in the hand. Thanks again!
Your channel is awesome, but this one was really hard to watch...only because you were banging/scraping the hell out of your sled and truck trying to get that ramp in the bed
+Sir SMKSAlOT ummm, it's part of what I do....I advertise products I like, show everyone everything that I can think about the product. But thanks for your input.
+Sir SMKSAlOT I'm not paid to say good things about crappy products, if I like something I tell people about it, if I don't like a product you won't see a video on it.....I have a rack full of junk that never makes it to video.
+PowerModz And I buy lots of things and shoot video on them without the manufacturer not even aware, it's fun and I enjoy honest reviews myself. Cheers. Check out the Dalton QAP vid, great product, seems like a nice group of guys there.
lol seems like a lotta work trying to sell those annoying ramps... they are far to bulky to fit anywhere with the sled in there, you prob hacked the paint on your sled sliding those in like that. To long.. to wide when folded. But louie you do make good vids thx ill stick with my pull out system i made.
Grumpy OldMan So you haven’t used one, then? Pretty easy to store beside or under the sled. I bungee cord my RevArc ramp beside my sled every time I use it.
That is so slick putting the ramp right under the sled.
Run a ratchet strap under the track to the rear bed side stake pockets, couple clicks and the ass end of the sled is high enough to slide the ramp underneath

Great review! I just bought the caliber ramp and protectors because of this video. Keep the good reviews coming!
Great camera work!
This was the video I was looking for. Very informative, thank you. New sub right here
With carbides, can you unload the snowmobile or would they catch the ramp?
How expensive was this? Seems pretty good. Thanks.

does the ski doo come with ramps?
dont forget ti lock it in the truck if you go for a ride and leave it alone in a parking to avoid someone to stole it
I think it's time for a Ski-doo Freeride Louie :)
Will a 4 stroke snowmobile load easy without damage to tailgate?
Awesome video Louis

I used Atv tri-fold and riveted runners on it

Need some line-x in the Ford ;)
Was the rachet strap already hooked to the ramp mine is not and don't know how to get it on?
what are you going to do about the ski doo formula 700
+Eddie Nyström water sled!

Why wouldn’t it?
should I get an el tigre or a rmk
how do you store it in the truck at 7 ft?

+LT4 IROC-Z trailers are a PIA , gotta insure them in some states/provinces, parking etc etc
FreezurBurnt In Minnesota you don't have to insure trailers and they have a lifetime license.

i am looking at getting a new sled but im on budget and recomendations?
Check kijiji. I got a 2008 Polaris rmk dragon 800 for $3100. It only had 50 hours on it too.
use the builtin strap to keep the ramp in the bed, it is there anyway...
Looks like a cool ramp , I need to pick up a new one soon , mine is REAL unsafe lol!!

How do you know?
pls keep work with the snopro 440/600
Not bad... not bad at all mate.
5:15 Another tip: never have your helmet in your lap and crank the bars to the right.
Probably not an issue with today's high rise bars but back in the day this could result in a pinned throttle. I know a guy.
6:33
Easy way put a board underneath it when u drive it up on the truck ,
This is awesome!!!!
mint
The ramp bows alot when you drive on it wouldn't want to load up an atv on it at all
so how do you prevent someone stealing this when your out sledding?
Quintin Dodds what I did with my atv Ramps, park your truck on top of it lmao
A good cable with a good pad lock will keep it from walking
You even lift bro? Louis has been working out.
8:31 Peanut butter and JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMM!
What gloves do you use?
+captinkangarouch I use Motorfist Sub Zeros - awesome gloves.
+PowerModz Thanks! I've been searching for good ones with a loose collar on them to go over my jacket and it looked like the ones in the video fit the bill without being too stiff in the hand. Thanks again!
+captinkangarouch np, the warmest gloves ive found to date that still allows me to grip all day and have a good feel for the sled.
Mikefrazier
why am I getting the feeling that powermodz has been watching casey neistat
+TJrcTX Casey is the best!!

Grumpy oldMan, I made the same comment .Too big and bulky once the sled is in the truck.Bad design IMO.But he still got over 96,000 views !!!!
Grumpy OldMan So you haven’t used one, then? Pretty easy to store beside or under the sled. I bungee cord my RevArc ramp beside my sled every time I use it.
