As much as I want to I can’t feel bad for Githany. She had plenty of chances to turn against the brotherhood. Zannah was the perfect apprentice for Bane. Githany would’ve tried to kill him too early.
I remember seeing the thought bomb mentioned in a Star Wars book once, and the book to my memory didn't really say that much about it. But when seeing the thumbnail, I remembered the weapon, and wanted to learn more, this did not disappoint.
I agree. I've always found the Imperial/Rebellion era as well as the New Republic era pretty boring a setting. Most of the core worlds became dull dictatorships and the only exciting things were a comparatively small rebellion on the fringes. Compare that to the time of the Sith Cold war, Revan's empire, and Mandelorian wars where the Jedi and Sith had a galactic war, massive battles between eachother, the Mandelorians were invading and allying with both sides, and wars were around every corner while ancient threats rose and fell. Things were so much more dynamic. The Empire was repressive but it stretched itself so thin they couldnt wage wars on the same scale and the rebellion lacked large fleets. Compare that to Revan's time when entire worlds were destroyed in single battles (like Taris and Telos 4) or entire systems (Peragus and Malachor) and some of the ships of that time period rivaled the firepower of all except the Star Destroyers (which despite their popular image were actually kind of rare and used as basically a whole fleet on their own).
The Darth Bane triology is one of my favorite piece of StarWars, especially the first book. Hopefully somedays Disney will declare Them as "Canon" and give us a Darth-Bane-Movie🥳
This would be an interesting era to have a movie in. It would be such a departure from the norm and probably inject a good blend of truly creative and new content to reinvigorate the series

I forget the name but one battleship used in the Old Republic days looked like barge (like an actual wooden one we'd have today) with laser cannons mounted on the railing and had a similar open deck, except it was designed for interstellar conflict and not just as a hovercraft or atmospheric fighter and they explicitly called it a capital ship meaning it had to be large too.
I had a question for you or any others who may know regarding the Sith. When their many empires fell what exactly happened to the planets, cities and settlements in Sith space such as Dromund Kaas or New Adasta on Ziost?
Or completely destroyed by the Republic or raiders. Though as usual with places like Korriban and Ziost artifacts were still found. In the old Legends a Sith Meditation Sphere is found on Ziost.

I will tell you Jedi vs Sith was one of the weirdest Star Wars comics I've ever read. The best way to describe it is that it was written by a teenage edgelord and the art was intended for a fantasy childrens book. At one moment children are getting murdered left and right and in another a girl is going on an adventure with magical floating fuzzballs. There are actually a lot of interesting ideas at play in the comic, but they all get executed in the weirdest ways possible for Star Wars.
I always wished they'd make more PG-13 and R rated Star Wars media. Nudity is almost unheard of, sex is usually just alluded to, gore is rare, and while war crimes happen they can be somewhat sanitized in a way with torture just being electrocution, rape (if mentioned) is usually just inferred. Sometimes the stories feel a little neutered like they're taking an R rated movie and editing it down to PG-13 or doing the same with a PG-13 down to a PG.
That's the Dark Side for you, they're all out for themselves and themselves alone, leading to greed and a desire for more, thus they turn on each other. The Dark Side is basically an addition, and when it comes to addition you do anything to feed it, even turn on your Sith Master at the worst possible time. At least intelligent Sith are smart enough to wait until the time is right to do it, and not kill the Master if they still need them.

I read the books and I have to say, this comic is ridiculously ugly xd the battle in my mind was glorious, and people participating more visibly damaged by prolonged warfare, but their equipment was definitely not so anachronistic and thor like. But perhaps the biggest difference is that farfalla in my mind was even more ridiculous than in this comic xd

depends.... Bane found the "recipe" in Darth Revan's holocron, so the idea was known to sith. totally Kaan's fault he was to lazy to search records.... ;)
@@rivenoak Don't wink at me. The holocron wasn't known to the order at that time, Bane had to search it out and find it on Rakata Prime. So there's no way the order could have known about it because they didn't know the holocron existed, there were no records for him to search.
@@theindooroutdoorsman thought bomb was not invented by Revan afaik, so it was just an earlier sith technique and Revan collected and stored the idea ? question is then where Revan heard of it, but unless Revan's holocron was the last surviving recording of the ritual Kaan+Brotherhood had the chance to know the same.
after all such holocrons are meant to be found by sith, otherwise Revan should have destroyed his recordings in the first place. did Kaan even seach for elder artifacts and knowledge of forebearers or was he arrogant to think he knew everything worth to know already ?

after Tenebrous the list is short: Plagueis and Venamis concurrently, then Plagueis and Sidious.

I read the books and I have to say, this comic is ridiculously ugly xd the battle in my mind was glorious, and people participating more visibly damaged by prolonged warfare, but their equipment was definitely not so anachronistic and thor like. But perhaps the biggest difference is that farfalla in my mind was even more ridiculous than in this comic xd
The way I like to describe it is that they got the artist for a fantasy childrens book and the writer is a teenage edgelord. There were some interesting ideas in the comic, but by god did the people working on it misunderstand them and Star Wars. If the movies are modern times than a 1000 years ago is the middle ages. Well the artist seems to have taken it too literally and they're using knives and clubs and bows to fight when they have freakin blasters. The aesthetic at times looked downright Narnia looking coughfarfallacough.
