A simple but effective rig. Follow the sequence to produce a good rig. Thank you, Jansen

Hi would you mind spelling the name of knot you are using ? I searched with "grinner" knot and it shows it is the uni knot. your knot looks different to me .... thx

The Grinner knot and Uni knot are the same thing

I use this one myself when giving 2 seperate baits a go, such as lug on one hook, lug on the other. Also works a treat when fishing for whiting in the winter (they make lovely fishcakes i think).
Also have always wondered how much truth there is in it though, when have heard it said that 2 small baits put more of a scent trail out into the tide than one bigger bait?

I’ve been using stop knots, but I’m thinking of going over to crimps? Are crimps better? What variety are the ones you use? Cheers Will

      I do like stop knots.

I personally prefer crimps as they are faster and if crimped correctly with the right tool will not damage the rig body. But each to their own….

@@VealsMailOrder2898 I’ve purchased some crimps from your shop, to give them a go

I noticed that you don't put a bead between the tension spring and the bottom crimp of the top snood, any reason for this?

It’s just not needed. The crimp prevents the spring from moving🙂

@@VealsMailOrder2898I have had issues with the spring being pulled down over the crimp and by adding a bead the issue went away, but thanks for the quick reply.
