    Low ELO content is great - Statistically, the majority of your viewer are in low ELO, so if they're really looking to improve, then seeing how to exploit mistakes and what to be mindful of, especially for macro decisions, is super relevant. I for one, would love to see more of it.

    As I have gotten better at the game I like watching the "high Elo" content however when I was struggling to improve in the past there really wasn't a lot of low elo content. I was watching challenger players play match ups but I couldn't digest or know what to look for. So I'm in the camp of sticking with the low Elo content for those that need a basis and can actually comprehend the coaching in a digestible way.

    • @googlepoodle5814
      @googlepoodle5814 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The easiest way to parse through the information is: wave state, jungler location, camp timers, cool downs, vision/ward placement, rotations. If you’re looking for those, the information becomes easier to understand. Obviously, there will be things you’ll miss, but you’ll pick up more once you understand why they’re doing things. Ex. “Oh, the top laner saw the jungler going bot and had their wave under tower, so they teleported on a ward bot lane.” At least, it’s easier for me to digest the information when I break it up into segments like that, and have an idea in mind of what to look for. Obviously there’s way more to it than that, but it’s easier to find other things when you’re looking for something specific. Like how they are posturing around minion waves in certain matchups.

    • @sierr1302
      @sierr1302 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@bos7522 I'm unsure you read my comment. Imagine two physicists talking about a high level concept. And you don't know anything about physics besides Newton's second law. Imagine trying to extrapolate any information from their conversation. You take physics 101 before physics 401. I'm not saying that you can't learn anything from watching challenger gameplay. I'm saying that it's a lot easier to digest and comprehend the information when someone is coaching a gold level player and have a goal they are working on. Be it wave management/back timings or teamfight positioning. Challenger players know when to blur the line of these "rules" and how they can come out of it ahead. So unless you know exactly what to cherry pick from challenger game play it's more beneficial for lower elo players to consume media about a few things that you can comprehend from it.

    • @sierr1302
      @sierr1302 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    A sad thought came to mind: this discussion about LoL 'shoulds" is like ants discussing humans.
    Riot has business plans and the more money you spend the better. They don't care about creating a healthy environment if it hurts their cash income.
    You get angry and keep playing? Great!
    The less angry you get the faster you stop playing? Oh, we need to keep you angry then.
    You keep playing even though the bugs in-game ruin your win rate? We don't have to care about bugs then and just keep releasing skins to get more money - cause you keep playing anyway.
    Your games get ruined by people who AFK/intentionally play badly to lose games on many accounts BUT YOU KEEP PLAYING? Well then, you keep playing, we will keep making money - your behavior doesn't change -> ours won't either.

    When I heard question about scuttle crab, as lowish elo player (I am gold3), I might have a quite fine solution for scuttlers.
    It does not have to be removed, but as it is said, it has too much imapct for the EARLY game. Why dont we just move the timing when the (first) scuttler spawns? We can have first scuttler at like 9:15, that would change the whole game, and how it is played, junglers would I guess just fullclear, and that there will be a game-coinflip for the crab xD.
    I am not sure, this might just be dumb...

    • @DrSlobGoblin
      @DrSlobGoblin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would probably shift the game to something more resembling pre-scuttle days. It would probably open jungle diversity a bit since first clear to scuttle would be less important while toplaners could opt into more scaling champions and play safe if there wasn't an early objective that could potential snowball the game at 3-4 minutes.

    49:30 I don't need you to tell me I shouldn't have Tower dive Teemo at level 5. I know it's dumb, but it's the 3rd time tonight I'm playing this matchup and I swear it worked last game.
    Besides, there is a built-in mechanic in the game that tells me every time I fail.
    Yeah, the screen turns all grey and it says "you have been slain".. even a Teemo main can take the hint.

    Neace,
    First, thank you for the content you create. I love it and look forward to the videos. Second I really enjoy the “how too” you do on champions in top lane. I always feel like with every big change like hull breaker the new strategy changes and I would love to hear more feedback when these big changes happen. An example of this would be Garen top now that strikebreaker has changed. I find myself being drawn to Glacierr with new changes for this reason. Third, I am so excited for the boot camp and can’t wait!

    I like watching most of your content, even the roles I don't personally play. I would like to see a few more plat/emerald level games since a lot of the lower elo games do boil down to you spending 60% of the coaching just trying to get the client to follow the basics well.
    I would also love to see you maybe do an off meta series where you demonstrate how to carry from off meta positions, There is a high warwick top player who I remember stayed as warwick even when he played ADC that was covered by another content creator awhile ago that had the same kind of appeal. I've had a soft spot for AP twich support as a secret carry pick for 2 seasons now so I know I'd end up watching something like that :)
    Keep up the good content Neace!

    I'm pretty neutral on low v high elo. As someone that's brand new, I'd personally prefer seeing more content that's applicable to me in low ELO, but I also really love seeing some of the higher level tactics and such so I can have an idea of where I should be looking to go.

    • @kirdiekirdie
      @kirdiekirdie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand the guy, breaking a promise isn't a "tough conversation" . It's like if I order something and it increases in price during shipping, a professional company will still ship it with the original price even if that doesn't maximize short term profit.

    Off-meta climb would be NUTS.
    I remember one channel that posted: "How to climb fast and easy." or some shit like that. He was a masters, always played with a masters duo, scouted the players to juggle dodges between the 2, only played the top meta picks and used their status in chat to make the team bend over.
    I laughed my ass off thinking "Yeah, much appreciated for all the help, sure I can use you fucked up guide to smurfing."

    I don't like content creators to ask us to give a thumbs up and to subscribe or show us graphs of subscribers or whatever. I don't care. What made me like the video is the authenticity and the content itself. Also, I subscribed after watching maybe 10 of your videos and because you were kind by saying "feel free to keep listening in background" with a smiley face.
    Anyway, keep up the good content Neace, and about the intro, I love watching high elo stuff to grasp more concepts and learn for myself, but low elo stuff makes me go to the basics and helps me guiding my friends in the game (they are Silver players, so...). Off meta stuff would also be nice to watch.
    Thanks!

    The remove chat feature is actually good and I get him about the temptation to turn it on. Basically, Riot can just move the disable chat feature to the client and not in game.
    You know that option: "Close Client during the game". They should also do it like, "Disable chat during the game" and then in game, the option to enable chat is grayed out.

    - Flex Queue (Five Man)

    • @lulemadjar6494
      @lulemadjar6494 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @wverms
      @wverms 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lulemadjar6494 that’s already a thing, honestly. It’s the only way to keep duo queue around at all for anyone who likes it because of the fact that all alternatives involve throwing in at least one person solo queued.

    I appreciate it might not be for everyone but the low elo content has been perfect for me. I'm still relatively new to the game, this is my first full season. I've climbed from Silver 3 to Gold 2 this season w/ Tristana and the low-elo videos have massively helped. I love the high elo stuff too but I need to learn how to climb in low elo first.

    I would love to see some high-elo content from you with postgame commentary so you can focus on the game while playing it, then explain your thought process after the fact. One of my favorite videos of yours (that the algorthim threw in my reccommends again the other day) was the game where you played TF mid against Yassuo, and I'd love to see more "recap + highlights" style post-game commentary videos like that one.

    I have been watching your videos for about a year and I am still in Iron, so I obviously need the bootcamp. Also, I like the coachings from low and high Elos. They are very similar, but there is less yelling to "Walk UP!" or "Shove MID!" in higher Elo.
