this is why its so important as stylists to not only do the work but also TEACH the work for the client to take home. it should be in the consultation as far as maintenance and at the styling AGAIN. i even let my clients do the styling themselves when it comes to bangs so i can make sure they got it and feel comfortable. too many clients hate work that was done perfectly well because they dont know how to actually maintain it.
I fired my stylist after 15 years because he wouldn't teach me anything or answer my questions. I learned more in my first appointment with my new stylist than I did in the previous 15 with him.
Yes! the stylist that did my wolf cut asked how I normally style my hair and then showed me ways I could achieve a similar end result with the tools I have at home!!!

This is why I haven't tried curtain banga. I do not have the dedication to styling constantly. I only style my hair when I was it (wavy hair so I have a routine)

About a year ago I had a similar problem :( I bought clip-in bangs on Amazon and sometimes I'd part on my right side in a curl, to hide the missing/chopped part, clipped it with a pin while drying and I got a whole new hairstyle! Sometimes problems are just hidden opportunities :D
