I’ve been standing in front of the mirror for over an hour trying to style my new curtain bangs. And here’s the man showing me how to do it in like 1 minute. Omg.

how did you do it originally?

    • @istolesatoru

@@holli8247 The way I used to do it was by dividing my bangs while still wet and then using the blow drier on them sideways

I have a high forehead and have been wearing bangs all my life, still do at 75. My hair is long, natural color, similar to my childhood. After I wash my hair, my bangs are all that I dry; I then put them in an old school plastic roller, give a quick blow dry and let them sit with roller for a short while. They keep enough body to not be flat on my forehead. Each morning getting ready for work, I put them in a roller while I wash my face, put on moisturizer and sunscreen, take out roller and my bangs keep enough body throughout the day.

Very useful tips for current trends.
Let ask you something: How can I balance the sides of the *front* of a shaggy lob that is made by cutting horizontally and parallel to the ceiling, stationary guide to the middle on each side, and overdirectioning past the sides of the head; if i want to set the partition slightly to one side? Especially for the the face framing and the fringe to look practically the same.

My favorite way is to over direct across the face and rotate the round brush towards the side the bang will fall on (so, away from the face). It keeps hair off the face, gives volume, but still has that flirty, feminine kiss the cheekbone effect.

Yes I realize that about 2 years late to subscribe and to post a question.
Around 2 minutes into the video this gentleman says to dampen the hair you’ll be working on. States that he’s using product instead. He sprays the round brush with the product and then uses the blow dryer on that same brush.
This seems completely counterproductive to me as I thought the point was to lightly dampen the hair? How do you prepare baby fine hair? Same way?
I’m new to hair stuff and styling. As well as new to the channel. Any help or advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
