Tim, I'm with you, brother. Going through some anxiety issues with work. Eliminated my clerk job, cut my hours, and put me doing work I did 23 years ago. At 63 years old it's not easy on my back. Anxiety is very high, loss of a third of my income. No one around me understands. You're lucky to have family and friends for support. Best of luck to you, you are truly blessed.

@George how is that the easy way? Take your retirement and enjoy life if that's in the budget... my father died at 64 no time to waste. He retired from state job at 50 worked anther job got retirement from that amd then took social security. You worked for the money take it.

I can totally relate to the anxiety issue. Back in Aug 2014 I was driving truck in Maryland, ended up in a head on fatal crash with a car that entered my lane abruptly. Some days it takes all I have to get into any vehicle and go somewhere, let alone go trucking. But I do my best to hit it head on and get er done. Stay strong brother.

I have been dealing with anxiety for a while. Remember nobody has died from an anxiety attack. Keep your head up. I also am a truck driver. When I finally got it under control I felt relaxed in my truck. Now I feel it is my relaxing place. As much as truck driving is. Praying for fellow trucker.

Praying for you Tim. If you get anxiety building up... Just think of the sweet sound of that turbo, and let that ease your mind.. Then think of all the moving parts inside of that motor just chugging along.... All those moving parts coming together to make raw horsepower. You just have to RE FOCUS your attention to something besides the anxiety . So if you think about those things it will RE DIRECT your mind OFF the anxiety or panic.. Another thing they say is to look for 3 things you see right in site, and say those 3 things... like 10 times.. TO redirect .

Tim after my head on collision while driving a gas tanker and yes there was fatalities. My dad gave me the best advice. And it's helped with my anxiety and ptsd from the accident. His advice was I got bucked off the biggest bull there is. I had 2 choices either lay there and get goard or get up dust myself off and ride that batch. It's what I did and actually went back to hauling fuel and got almost million miles of safe driving. You got this and ride and own that bull 💪

Tim! That took a lot of courage to brush yourself off and get back in the seat. I have been suffering through depression often on for 16 years now. Having a wife and family helping me through that has helped a ton, but also getting the therapy that I need has also helped.
In 2006, I was diagnosed with having panic attacks. Since I got married in 2008, those have diminished, now that I have a good support system. Thank you for being such the wonderful person that you are! we are never alone in this battle. I look forward to the day when we all get to see our heavenly father and I get to truly see with my new eyes everything around me. Take care and God bless.

Tim I am 59 years old and have to be careful with depression. I had bulk tankers and flats for hauling cement powder and masonry supplies. My dad died in a tractor trailer accident in Ohio in 1989. I was 21. I never had depression until my wife of 20 yrs took off. I had two boys at home. Talk about life style change. I had to hire drivers so I could take care of boys and paper work. I couldn't drive my truck to the main road and back for weeks. Your not alone. I pulling for you!♥️

Hey Tim good video, I am glad anxiety is not killing your desire to get back trucking. Old FLD reminds me getting into bull hauling for a smaller but very good small trucking company had 4 Pete's / 2- 379's and 2 - 277 with 2 Freightliners FLD. I used to run similar setup in a 1991 Freightliner FLD with a 3406C Cat motor with13 speed and 3.90 gear ratio as we go to Montana mountains to pickup feeders from some nice ranches and then take them feeders to Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Misouri , sometimes Oklahoma too. As I got seasoned bull hauler I moved to the 379 Pete. As new hand gets the FLD. The other FLD was the bosses personal truck. If your have issues with your neck muscles and nerves. I found a pain management doctor that is good and can read you MRI. As I am now pain free as I have RFA done on my faucet joints in my neck and lower back. Radio Frequency Ablation is used to burn or kill the faucet joint little nerves and last me from about a 1.5 to 2.0 years each time until the nerves grow back. I had issues in my lower back as the nerves continue to stay inflamed and muscles never would relax or go down, because the nerves are in constant hurt. Once done the RFA now 3 times for over 6 years and not hurting. And my nerves to my toes are not numb either. There are 2 separate main nerves in your legs. A basic top and bottom of your feet and legs. I used to get numb toes on the bottom of my foot. So just thought let you know about RFA and a good pain management doctor. The doctor can even do a nerve block injections too see if that would work. I would ask to get knocked out as can hurt fairly good without any knock drugs for RFA. Good luck and take care.

Ever since I got covid, June of ‘22, I have experienced anxiety. On this video, your symptoms sound almost Identical to mine. You are right, when it hits, it is terrifying. I’ve been medically checked and like you, been given the “you are all good”. My Doctor has started me on Sertraline and Xannax. They help, but I still get episodes. Friend, I've struggled for years with debilitating back and neck pain. Went to some great Chiropractors and my last one suggested that I get an inversion table. I got one from Costco and it's been a game changer for me. After a few months of using it to decompress my spine and neck, I no longer have major issues like I used to, and I'm much healthier as a result. Bonus: for 30 years I used to always be 6' tall. Now Im 6'1" and walk taller and stronger. Maybe give it a try. 10-15 minutes a day for the first couple months, and you'll see a huge difference after a while. And its fun. 🤪

I suffer with anxiety and depression. I have to force myself to get out of bed in the morning. But I do.!
I found going to the gym helps me get in shape (mind and body). And like you I have a beautiful wife that suffers with some of the same things.
I’m 65 and have gone through so many things but even when I thought I was alone and had nothing to go forward for God was with me. When I did things I knew were wrong and thought no one cared Good was there.
When I opened my eyes and my heart God told me he has always has been with me from the day as a young man that I asked God to come into my heart and all the days I ignored him he waited for me and made sure I didn’t get into too much trouble.
And after a lot of years of doing it my way I woke to a mess I made of my life. Divorced twice not a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out . God asked me if I was ready to live a life he wanted for me.
Since then I’ve tried my best to walk with him. This life will never be perfect but it can be good. And life after this one is going to be awesome perfect.
Evil will do its best to trip you up to make you fall. You can’t be perfect but you can ask God to forgive you and help you. He might give you a miracle, he may bring someone into your life that will help you through your problem. Or he may tell you no! Just keep walking with him do your best and Tim I know that what your doing.

Sorry to hear about your neck. I’ve got the same issue with mine. It can be debilitating. To the point where ya just have to lay down for a while to take a break. The biggest thing that helps is to trying to be strong for your family. Fight you way through it and if anxiety rears it’s ugly head I always say a prayer and ask for a peace in my heart and mind. God is good. He’s a lot more faithful then we are. That’s for sure. Thanks for sharing that. At least I know I have someone dealing with the same thing. Prayers definitely got me through it.

Hi Tim. I had neck surgery in the past but I’m having another surgery in a few weeks, I was given a exercise to help, you hold your chin to your chest and push your head back whilst holding your chin, it spreads the vertebrae in your neck to release the nerves, this may help you in the short term. 👍🤞

Been driving I 80 a lot over by joilet is just killing my back. Going to get into the chiropractor this week and staring taking care of myself more. Already started taking a lot of vitamins to help me keep feeling well the last year.

Chiropractic medicine has never been proven to be effective at fixing the cause of pain. Take it from me a guy who went to a chiropractor for a year and a half, chiroprator was charging my insurance 3 times the rate of anybody else in town and because of that he got sued for fraud. I wish I could say there are probably good chiropractors out there but the evidence and the statistics pretty much relegates them to the same level as any other person pushing ineffective pseudoscience.
I know you MAY think BACK PAIN = CHIROPRACTOR but what you really want to make is an appointment with a physical therapist and a pain management doctor, those are the people who have actual medical degrees unlike chiropractors and will be able to give you a realistic plan for treatment. Every doctor out there will tell you it is DANGEROUS to "adjust" someones neck or back without first doing extensive xray, and mri analysis on the injury. I have to SUE this chiropractor I was seeing for a year and a half because my back is actually WORSE off from all the cracking and pulling and "adjustments" this untrained charlatan was performing on hundreds of people in my town.

I’m glad you made that step but I would recommend you use a neck brace to try to help you, might not look great but it will atleast keep your neck from putting to much pressure on you nerve.
