Tim, I'm with you, brother. Going through some anxiety issues with work. Eliminated my clerk job, cut my hours, and put me doing work I did 23 years ago. At 63 years old it's not easy on my back. Anxiety is very high, loss of a third of my income. No one around me understands. You're lucky to have family and friends for support. Best of luck to you, you are truly blessed.
@George how is that the easy way? Take your retirement and enjoy life if that's in the budget... my father died at 64 no time to waste. He retired from state job at 50 worked anther job got retirement from that amd then took social security. You worked for the money take it.

I can totally relate to the anxiety issue. Back in Aug 2014 I was driving truck in Maryland, ended up in a head on fatal crash with a car that entered my lane abruptly. Some days it takes all I have to get into any vehicle and go somewhere, let alone go trucking. But I do my best to hit it head on and get er done. Stay strong brother.

I have been dealing with anxiety for a while. Remember nobody has died from an anxiety attack. Keep your head up. I also am a truck driver. When I finally got it under control I felt relaxed in my truck. Now I feel it is my relaxing place. As much as truck driving is. Praying for fellow trucker.
Praying for you Tim. If you get anxiety building up... Just think of the sweet sound of that turbo, and let that ease your mind.. Then think of all the moving parts inside of that motor just chugging along.... All those moving parts coming together to make raw horsepower. You just have to RE FOCUS your attention to something besides the anxiety . So if you think about those things it will RE DIRECT your mind OFF the anxiety or panic.. Another thing they say is to look for 3 things you see right in site, and say those 3 things... like 10 times.. TO redirect .
I feel your pain Tim, anxiety sucks and having claustrophobia on top of that is really bad. I've self induced several anxiety attacks and finally got to where I can talk myself through them and calm myself down. Stay strong, God is there for you.
I have severe anxiety and am having a lot of trouble coping with it, but your videos help me breath easy! Thank you for what you do and thank you for supplying us with the endless videos!
I feel for you I’ve suffered with it for years. As time goes on it’ll get easier. You’ll be able to start to identify your triggers and stuff. It will get easier
Tim I have panic attacks every day and I have to talk myself down and get myself back on track it takes a lot of self control, put faith in God and live life the best you can !
Good to see you back in the saddle. In my pot in the ramp I have a gate that drops in a slide under the gate for the belly ramp so the cattle will not try and go under the gate and try to push the flop down gate up to get out.
Tim you are spot on regarding anxiety. Left untreated it will get worse and lead to depression. The urge to isolate and hunker down alone in the dark is what I needed most help with. I joined a men's spiritual group to help get me through those tough times.
I was just diagnosed with non epileptic seizures due to stress and anxiety. Not fun and I will pray for you. I love you channel and watch it faithfully. Thank you for what you do!!!
I totally understand. I had knee surgery about a year ago. I had it in my head if I went to sleep I would die. I didn’t sleep for over 3 days. Thank the lord for my wonderful wife of 38 years, she saved me. I was about to lose my mind. I pray you get over your issues. Be safe my friend.
I know all about anxiety. I have got it very bad at times I can't leave the house or even work. I constantly over think everything even if it's nothing big. I can totally relate to your issues. Wish their was more help for people like us.
I've been there Tim, anxiety is tough. It takes a lot of determination and will power to do simple things with anxiety. All you can do is keep working at it, and keep making yourself do the uncomfortable things. Eventually it'll all be behind you
Tim you look good out there stay safe my friend remember that GOD said through him all things are possible you will get through this just put it in his hands and keep driving you will make it GOD had your back and he's your co-pilot God bless stay safe 👍👍
Anxiety for sure can be crippling I've dealt with it for many years. Good to hear you are finding ways to deal with it. Welcome back to my home state of Michigan. Been farming & trucking out of Michigan all my life. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Safe travels to ya. Peace, 🇺🇲
Tim after my head on collision while driving a gas tanker and yes there was fatalities. My dad gave me the best advice. And it's helped with my anxiety and ptsd from the accident. His advice was I got bucked off the biggest bull there is. I had 2 choices either lay there and get goard or get up dust myself off and ride that batch. It's what I did and actually went back to hauling fuel and got almost million miles of safe driving. You got this and ride and own that bull 💪
Tim! That took a lot of courage to brush yourself off and get back in the seat. I have been suffering through depression often on for 16 years now. Having a wife and family helping me through that has helped a ton, but also getting the therapy that I need has also helped. In 2006, I was diagnosed with having panic attacks. Since I got married in 2008, those have diminished, now that I have a good support system. Thank you for being such the wonderful person that you are! we are never alone in this battle. I look forward to the day when we all get to see our heavenly father and I get to truly see with my new eyes everything around me. Take care and God bless.
Tim, im a trucker and also have struggled with anxiety, crippling anxiety. Your brain is a very very powerful tool and it will make you or break you. You have to find something to get your brain retrained and to get your mind off of it. You can't get out of this world alive brother, try and enjoy it. Much love brother.
Tim I am 59 years old and have to be careful with depression. I had bulk tankers and flats for hauling cement powder and masonry supplies. My dad died in a tractor trailer accident in Ohio in 1989. I was 21. I never had depression until my wife of 20 yrs took off. I had two boys at home. Talk about life style change. I had to hire drivers so I could take care of boys and paper work. I couldn't drive my truck to the main road and back for weeks. Your not alone. I pulling for you!♥️
Don't apologize man! I think we would all be amazed how many of your subs struggle with the same thing. It's extremely under reported imo. Good on you for posting about it.
Thank you for talking about it Tim. I had a situation happen with me 2yrs ago on my way to work. It was the first time I've ever experienced anxiety. It's scary when you can't control yourself. You got this brother 💪
Hey Tim good video, I am glad anxiety is not killing your desire to get back trucking. Old FLD reminds me getting into bull hauling for a smaller but very good small trucking company had 4 Pete's / 2- 379's and 2 - 277 with 2 Freightliners FLD. I used to run similar setup in a 1991 Freightliner FLD with a 3406C Cat motor with13 speed and 3.90 gear ratio as we go to Montana mountains to pickup feeders from some nice ranches and then take them feeders to Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Misouri , sometimes Oklahoma too. As I got seasoned bull hauler I moved to the 379 Pete. As new hand gets the FLD. The other FLD was the bosses personal truck. If your have issues with your neck muscles and nerves. I found a pain management doctor that is good and can read you MRI. As I am now pain free as I have RFA done on my faucet joints in my neck and lower back. Radio Frequency Ablation is used to burn or kill the faucet joint little nerves and last me from about a 1.5 to 2.0 years each time until the nerves grow back. I had issues in my lower back as the nerves continue to stay inflamed and muscles never would relax or go down, because the nerves are in constant hurt. Once done the RFA now 3 times for over 6 years and not hurting. And my nerves to my toes are not numb either. There are 2 separate main nerves in your legs. A basic top and bottom of your feet and legs. I used to get numb toes on the bottom of my foot. So just thought let you know about RFA and a good pain management doctor. The doctor can even do a nerve block injections too see if that would work. I would ask to get knocked out as can hurt fairly good without any knock drugs for RFA. Good luck and take care.
42:04 .. See the farm house still right there, Im sure its been there before the outfit was as big as it is.. Reminds me of my uncles farm in Michigan, He still has the old farm house there that was hand built by his grandfather.
Way to have the courage to just say I'm going. Anxiety can come out of nowhere and hit you hard and than the fears that come with it can be crippling. I am proud of you my man.
Tim I quit driving for over a year because of Anxiety and yes you got to face your fears. Thank the good lord for giving me the strength to get back driving. I still have attacks from time to time but I ve learned how too push thru
Tim, I understand completely what you're going through. I trucked for over 20 years then all of a sudden I developed a fear of tall bridges to the point I would have to stop and beg God to help me get through.
Tim I am a leader at Celebrate Recovery we help people with Anxiety and all sorts of mental problems. I have 20 years clean from alcohol and coca.i attend 2 different C Rs.I travel on my Harleys and share my Testimony.
I finally got my anxiety and panic attacks under control it is one of the worst things you can go through I can completely understand they tried to take my medical card away from me when I had my first one but thank God the doctors got it fixed I will be praying for you brother stay out on the road and I hope your anxiety goes away and panic attacks
Anxiety & panic attacks are NO JOKE! I also have had pinched nerves in my neck. Wound up getting 2 vertebra fused in my neck after trying everything. I know what ur going thru & my prayers go out to u and all others that experience anxiety, depression & panic attacks. Positive thought replacement, my faith, & my wife helped me through it and I'm way better today. God bless.
I typed a big comment on the first video when you posted it to say it sounded like neck issues and panic attack’s and deleted it instead of posting. Glad it was something less serious
I'm 43, been trucking for 15yr & I have had the same thing happened with me, anxiety is a real & scary thing. Stay tough brother, it really helps me to talk to someone while I'm driving
First off, let me say, I love your channel. I am a new subscriber (unfortunately, my first video was of the fire). I am a trucker turned mechanic, fleet lead tech. Ever since I got covid, June of ‘22, I have experienced anxiety. On this video, your symptoms sound almost Identical to mine. You are right, when it hits, it is terrifying. I’ve been medically checked and like you, been given the “you are all good”. My Doctor has started me on Sertraline and Xannax. They help, but I still get episodes. Thank You for the tips to deal with this. Keep up the good work on your channel and God speed on rebuilding your business! 🇺🇸
Proud of you Tim. I've been hauling heavy equipment since the early 80's. To this day I still have occasional anxiety. Take a deep breath and just grab the bull by the horns. So to speak. Much love from SC and stay safe driver.
I have gone through it. My son is going through it now and the past three months. He is a trucker and hasn’t driven in three months. When he thinks about trucking he starts to feel funny. I completely understand what you are going through.God will b with you and completely rely on Him and the support of your loved ones. Thank you for sharing.
Hey tim glad to see you back in the saddle! Not sure where in Michigan you unloaded but if Kalamazoo waant too far theres great lakes trailer washout around the corner from the jbs plant just south of plainwell, if you ever get loads up to canada we should talk!
@15:35 there is supposed to be an anchor/tie below the light to hold the rope out of way of going in the trailer. You can see the bolt holes for the original.
I understand your feeling. In August they thought I was having a heart attack but come to find out being type 2 diabetic and eating fast food for breakfast lunch and dinner otr . My diabetes kicked me in the butt through the heart and gave me a huge wake up call I’m cleared to go back just trying to find the right truck now to buy
So when are you going to put Stacks and some Chrome on the Freightliner? Really Happy to see you facing your issue head-on it takes a strong person to be able to do that. Good Luck Brother and I hope you continue to get better and stronger as time goes by. NEVER EVER give up the fight you can beat it!!!
Cygnet Ohio is pronounced sig-net You were within 30 miles of me in Fostoria Ohio And even closer to Risingsun Ohio where I lived for most of my life Really enjoy your channel and how you interact with everyone including your son My dad was a trucker for a number of years and I spent about three or four years riding along in some of his trucks keeping the guys awake I have physical disabilities so I'm unable to drive big truck because most of them are manual And now it's 60 years old I don't really feel like trying Keep up the good work and keep showing a good example
Tim ive been where you are!its not a fast run to get to the other side!but you can get there.its fight or flight inside you, i know how you are feeling?like powerless and confused and scared! keep working on managing the stressors in your daily life. i still have spells to this day,but i know what it is and let it run its course.Take care of you and yours Driver. Trucker Mike
Friend, I've struggled for years with debilitating back and neck pain. Went to some great Chiropractors and my last one suggested that I get an inversion table. I got one from Costco and it's been a game changer for me. After a few months of using it to decompress my spine and neck, I no longer have major issues like I used to, and I'm much healthier as a result. Bonus: for 30 years I used to always be 6' tall. Now Im 6'1" and walk taller and stronger. Maybe give it a try. 10-15 minutes a day for the first couple months, and you'll see a huge difference after a while. And its fun. 🤪
Sending prayers and love...my wife has struggled with anxiety and depression since I have known her, its tough sometimes but we get through it together. I recently lost my dad in a horrible farming accident, since then I have had my share of struggles with it myself but I got help and some medicine for it. It helps a lot and it's very safe, no side effects or issues with it .
I had a bad feeling about your move to this kind trucking. You were doing well and it was fun to watch till this new endeavor. I'm hoping you start doing better in the near future. Praying for you and your family for Gods blessings.
I've had severe anxiety and depression for 25 years now tim and yep. It definitely brings you to your knees and cripples you. Nobody helps me and nobody supports me it's just me and me and the little man running around inside my head. I feel for you brother and unlike me i pray you can get out of it 🙏
im glad i ran across this channel!! we are from polk county/cleveland tn. and my 7 year old son thinks it is so cool that we have a you tuber right up the road!! lol love the content. be safe!
Its sucks ......anxiety. been dealing with it since 2000.......fighting your own mind is horrible.........self talk tim........take time for you........wish you the best in the future
just keep the wheels a spinnin, and the boss a grinnin! ( your wife!) and you WILL! get through this! US, old truckers, we just find another gear! and use it! lol!
I suffer with anxiety and depression. I have to force myself to get out of bed in the morning. But I do.! I found going to the gym helps me get in shape (mind and body). And like you I have a beautiful wife that suffers with some of the same things. I’m 65 and have gone through so many things but even when I thought I was alone and had nothing to go forward for God was with me. When I did things I knew were wrong and thought no one cared Good was there. When I opened my eyes and my heart God told me he has always has been with me from the day as a young man that I asked God to come into my heart and all the days I ignored him he waited for me and made sure I didn’t get into too much trouble. And after a lot of years of doing it my way I woke to a mess I made of my life. Divorced twice not a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out . God asked me if I was ready to live a life he wanted for me. Since then I’ve tried my best to walk with him. This life will never be perfect but it can be good. And life after this one is going to be awesome perfect. Evil will do its best to trip you up to make you fall. You can’t be perfect but you can ask God to forgive you and help you. He might give you a miracle, he may bring someone into your life that will help you through your problem. Or he may tell you no! Just keep walking with him do your best and Tim I know that what your doing.
I have been having really bad anxiety in past couple months of my life and I found your channel and it has really helped me through it. I enjoy watching your videos you can tell you really care about other people! So thank you! And I would appreciate a prayer and I will do the same for you!
Hi have had neck problems that sound like yours , it was caused by looking forward all time while driving started stretching ,head tilts etc while driving and helped me , don't do distance like used to so no problem now, be positive you'll sort it I have faith
Sorry to hear about your neck. I’ve got the same issue with mine. It can be debilitating. To the point where ya just have to lay down for a while to take a break. The biggest thing that helps is to trying to be strong for your family. Fight you way through it and if anxiety rears it’s ugly head I always say a prayer and ask for a peace in my heart and mind. God is good. He’s a lot more faithful then we are. That’s for sure. Thanks for sharing that. At least I know I have someone dealing with the same thing. Prayers definitely got me through it.
We have one of those Gas Stations here in Florida and it is always packed with car. You are so right about if they would add Semi pumps they would make a killing...
Hi Tim. I had neck surgery in the past but I’m having another surgery in a few weeks, I was given a exercise to help, you hold your chin to your chest and push your head back whilst holding your chin, it spreads the vertebrae in your neck to release the nerves, this may help you in the short term. 👍🤞
I keep have luck with a message to contact you, stop pestering people with your bs scam messages. If you watched the channel you would have Tim say you would never get a response from the channel so stop with this bs and get a job,
Thanks for being candid and open...I too have had anxiety my whole life. Meds make the depression more manageable but it's a delicate balance...be cool and be safe.
My fiance goes through it daily and the best advice given is to give them all the positive advice possible and big dawg you are a top act and I believe you will make it through this
Enjoying your channel and seeing your son in there helping you. My Dad started his trucking business in 1950 back in Nebraska. I learned to drive in the hay fields and following the combines and other farm equipment. Keep up the good work. Best Wishes
Been driving I 80 a lot over by joilet is just killing my back. Going to get into the chiropractor this week and staring taking care of myself more. Already started taking a lot of vitamins to help me keep feeling well the last year.
Chiropractic medicine has never been proven to be effective at fixing the cause of pain. Take it from me a guy who went to a chiropractor for a year and a half, chiroprator was charging my insurance 3 times the rate of anybody else in town and because of that he got sued for fraud. I wish I could say there are probably good chiropractors out there but the evidence and the statistics pretty much relegates them to the same level as any other person pushing ineffective pseudoscience. I know you MAY think BACK PAIN = CHIROPRACTOR but what you really want to make is an appointment with a physical therapist and a pain management doctor, those are the people who have actual medical degrees unlike chiropractors and will be able to give you a realistic plan for treatment. Every doctor out there will tell you it is DANGEROUS to "adjust" someones neck or back without first doing extensive xray, and mri analysis on the injury. I have to SUE this chiropractor I was seeing for a year and a half because my back is actually WORSE off from all the cracking and pulling and "adjustments" this untrained charlatan was performing on hundreds of people in my town.
I’m glad you made that step but I would recommend you use a neck brace to try to help you, might not look great but it will atleast keep your neck from putting to much pressure on you nerve.
Hey Tim your doing well don't ever doubt you're self I'm going through some crazy stuff myself life is life always stay humble and positive and true to yourself and it will work out.
Hope and pray your better now. I passed thru there Friday, made it east of Knoxville and truck laced down on me. DEF system on 13 Pete completely failed on me 😬😬😬

Get that fixed Tim i had the same thing and waited too long to keep working. Got some nerve damage from it. Stay safe brother..
Love this channel. Nothing but raw authentic content coming from real people. Keep it up and stay safe Gentry Family.
Glad to hear you're doing so much better I'm glad to hear your first friend went good hopefully God willing the rest will keep praying
You're giving me anxiety walking behind those cows. You are doing the correct thing by facing you anxiety head on. Good luck to you and your family.
Only way to face it is head on.
Every time I see that FLD makes me nostalgic. I drove one just like it at A&R Transport for years. Dang good truck.
Tim, I understand completely what you're going through. I trucked for over 20 years then all of a sudden I developed a fear of tall bridges to the point I would have to stop and beg God to help me get through.
☝️Thanks for watching☝️☝️ I have a fantastic gift for you ☝️☝️🎁🎁Dm to claim prize 👆.....

Keep up the good work Tim. Seen you guys driving through Michigan. Those cattle are in for a treat when winter hits here in Michigan
God bless you brother. Thankfully you have good support. Keep your head up brother.
Tim.thank you for sharing this serous issue. I'm struggling with cptsd . I'm dealing with the neck issues. God bless and keep you Tim.
Tim it's good to see you running the road again try to keep yourself in moderation please
Good job getting back on that horse Tim, we love the Gentry family here in south central Kansas, still waiting on a "Golly Bum" tshirt
You need to take better care of yourself, Tim! Mental health is ten times worse than physical! I will definitely put you in my prayers brother.
I appreciate this video Tim... people with anxiety/depression really do need support...Thank you sir...b
I battle with anxiety constantly it sucks nothing worse than when it hit you hard because it does cripple you
So when are you going to put Stacks and some Chrome on the Freightliner? Really Happy to see you facing your issue head-on it takes a strong person to be able to do that. Good Luck Brother and I hope you continue to get better and stronger as time goes by. NEVER EVER give up the fight you can beat it!!!
Tim nice to see you got the bull by the horns and got behind the wheel and I think you should have brought them two bull looked really friendly.
Cygnet Ohio is pronounced sig-net
You were within 30 miles of me in Fostoria Ohio
And even closer to Risingsun Ohio where I lived for most of my life
Really enjoy your channel and how you interact with everyone including your son
My dad was a trucker for a number of years and I spent about three or four years riding along in some of his trucks keeping the guys awake I have physical disabilities so I'm unable to drive big truck because most of them are manual
And now it's 60 years old I don't really feel like trying
Keep up the good work and keep showing a good example
Will be praying for you tim may God bless you and keep you safe my friend. And will pray for all of yall. God bless take care until the next one.
I've had severe anxiety and depression for 25 years now tim and yep. It definitely brings you to your knees and cripples you. Nobody helps me and nobody supports me it's just me and me and the little man running around inside my head. I feel for you brother and unlike me i pray you can get out of it 🙏

just keep the wheels a spinnin, and the boss a grinnin! ( your wife!)
and you WILL! get through this!
You have the guts to tell us. Best of luck with dealing with it all.
Longer a person wait the harder it is to get back to a normal routine . Guy just has to pray for the strength to get going and be safe . God bless
Glad your back and rolling down the road Tim. I thought you would buy that first bull, the one walking around doing all the talking.
If you watched the channel you would have Tim say you would never get a response from the channel so stop with this bs and get a job,
Good stuff Tim....Mind over matter always wins...............
Thanks for being candid and open...I too have had anxiety my whole life. Meds make the depression more manageable but it's a delicate balance...be cool and be safe.
My fiance goes through it daily and the best advice given is to give them all the positive advice possible and big dawg you are a top act and I believe you will make it through this
Tim be calm and strong it's called facing the dragon and killing the dragon and it sounds like you're doing a great job God bless you and your family
@@fozo11 thank's love you guys
Anxiety sucks. Getting back in the seat will do you some good. Prayers for strength
I totally understand. Anxiety hit me for the first time last year out of nowhere. I am still trying to figure out ways to deal with it
Hey Tim your doing well don't ever doubt you're self I'm going through some crazy stuff myself life is life always stay humble and positive and true to yourself and it will work out.
