      No they shouldn’t be
A TH-cam video is just a pre recorded monologue but teaching it live requires more time naturally. It’s not like those professors are dumb or incompetent, the environment is just different.

@@azarakhshsawmen127 and yet quite a few of those lecturers fail to do an effective job of explaining those concepts, which is why such a big market for TH-cam teachers exists. The professors are mainly there (at least in STEM) to conduct their research. Brilliant, while they are, teaching and knowing are 2 very different skills. The teaching of these courses is only one of the conditions of their research fundings. Thus, while professors are amazing at their actual job (research) they suck at their supplementary job (teaching)

Professors are many different people all over the world with different levels of teaching skills. We can’t say professors in general ‘suck’. TH-cam is just a better place to learn things cuz u can rewind , skip , search anything up , speed up , pause , see animations and 3D concepts ( not possible on a chuck board )
I just don’t like to just hate on professors like others the moment a youtube video teaches me sth.

@Syd02 School i am showing the utmost respect by withdrawing myself from giving petty cash.
You see, the moment you value something with money, it becomes quantifiable and comparable. we dont want that. the value of this video is in the eye of the beholder. by tipping $5, he set the value to $5. I on the other hand, gave no tip, hence giving it infinite value.

I was looking at my textbook reading on this subject for the week, and it does all the typical things calc textbooks do that make things hard to understand for no reason - building it up from the definition of a limit with Riemann sums, using obscure set theory notation for no good reason... then I come here and it INSTANTLY makes sense.
