I genuinely believe Emma Thompson pulled a better performance than Meryl Streep and I’m not dissing legendary Meryl at all. She was incredible in Devil Wears Prada, but I enjoyed every second Thompson was on screen.

@@carl_anderson9315 But, it’s not really a fair comparison because Miranda still has a heart at the end of the day, the Baroness was always just a horrible woman, so Emma could have more fun. So it is kind of a diss that you think Emma playing someone who never changed was better than Meryl playing someone much more complex.

Can we take a minute to appreciate how amazing Ali Plumb is. The interview genuinely just seems like a chat between old friends. He is the Graham Norton of film critics with how the interviewees seem so at ease.
Fucking graham is miles above all the American hosts the only one I can think comes close is Stephen Colbert show but it’s then not even that close I am just glad he take pitty on us Americans and uploads clips and sometimes full interviews .

I have never once seen a bad interview with him. He treats all his guests with respect and they reciprocate and seem to appreciate it.

I was talking to a security guard at the cinema, and he said that he once saw a bunch of old ladies wearing the iconic Cruella look when they went to watch it. *I should’ve been there to see it!* 😭

She probably has English ancestry because of her last name and appearance, so it makes sense that she’d look similar to people likely of the same ethnicity

I loved this movie. It's the best movie I've seen in a very very long time. It was well written, the actors were cast perfectly, and my friends and I talked about how great it was even several days later.

Emma Stone is her stage name because she wasn’t allowed to use her own name, Emily. But I have seen her talk about it in several interviews now and she hints she doesn’t like Emma and just wants to be called Emily, as that is her real birth name.

2:21 Yeah, I've always noticed she's ALWAYS cracking up on camera even when its not scripted. Like in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, you see her smiling very briefly where Peter is helping Gwen escape some security guards while Peter distracts them and laughs in Zombieland when Bill Murray dies.

This movie is a cross between Drew Barrymore's EVER AFTER and Meryl Streep's THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.
I think they did a fabulous job on this film. I (as an adult) go into Disney films a wee bit more skeptical these days - and this one felt much more mature than others I have seen. And I love that Curella stays .... Cruella !

I've seen it twice now and I was the same every time Emma chucked her fork and napkin out of the window. I cracked up so hard both times!
Me too! I kept rewinding and repeating that part. All her movements in that scene were so well choreographed and she executed them so flawlessly and natural. I can testify from experience, that kind of blocking is not easy. And to make it look that easy takes real talent. Same with the champagne and olive scene.
I never knew this movie existed until yesterday. I knew I had to watch it because it’s Emma Stone. No regrets, it’s freaking amazing 🤩
