thanks for the video. i'm curious about the dual use of the fan for both the radiator and condenser.
do you know if the different speeds are controlled by those different speed fuses?
fan works to keep car from overheating and i'm betting that's the only time my ac is cold.
i replaced the fan resistor you referenced, but that didn't help. didn't think about fuses....derp ha
i think you helped me fix my issue...

Hello I have a question I have this same 2011 Hyundai sonata
It stays at the right temp unless I’m idling. Also my ac stays cool as long as I’m moving but the minute I stop it’s blowing hot air. Could you help pinpoint what the problem is?! Thanks in advance.

Seems like ur fans in front dont work so when ur moving the air forced dose the job for fans but when ur filing u need fans to force the air. So check ur fans could be fuse relay or fan bad it self also controls sensors

Fan Resistor is located in the fan housing. Remove the Air intake from the grill to the air box, to reveal it and the two connectors and one Phillips screw holding it in place. see if the ceramic resistor is cracked/ damaged.

My “blower” cut out for a couple seconds on 2 different occasions during a recent heat wave. Third time it cut off entirely. If I drove like 55+ I could feel the cold air, just wouldn’t blow.
Paid $100 for ac diagnosis and they quoted me $500 to replace the fan.
I declined and it’s been working ever since lol just had to unplug the whole fan and plug it back in smh
Probably ought to replace the transistors, wouldn’t be surprised if it cuts out again when it’s 110 degrees+

@@RBTheMechanic There's a resistor assy in the fan housing that mounts the fan to the radiator, is that what your taking about? OR is it IN the FAN assembly itself?

I have a 2011 hyundai sonata that's overheating and radiator leaking coolant. relays are good. Fan wasn't working so I Got a new one but is still not working. Can it be the thermostat that need to be switched out?

You also need ro make sure your cooling fan comes on as it could be a bad coolant temperature sensor

I am having this problem with the relay switch thing, my dad moved it and the fan came on. So we went to autozone and got one but it didn’t turn it back on. We tried the old one again and it worked but isn’t consistent. It’s like it’s going bad. Do you think they gave us a bad one by accident? Or do you think it may be the wrong one entirely?
