We did a show with Hank Williams Jr. at the Zoo Amphitheater. The limo company sent a brand new limo, with a paper tag in the window. The limo leaves the airport with Hank Jr. and Merle Kilgore and a police escort. The limo never made it to the venue

The sad part about Jr. is he hates his own fans. He never interacts with anybody he doesn’t give permission to. He avoids everything and he pays people to do his bidding and business and handle all of his public affairs. Cool,..he’s rich, famous, been that way his whole life so he’s earned some privacy but even when somebody acknowledges him and is just being a fan he’s extremely rude and hateful to them about it. Saw him in a Eufaula, Al store one time so I’m speaking from personal experience and also I’ve studied him since I was 12 in 1981 and read and watched everything I could about him because I thought I was his biggest fan but I also saw him play a show at Central high school outside of Florence, Al in Central in @ 1982(?) and he played one song and started another and then walked off the stage and left us. Period. Why? Don’t know. Saw him in Huntsville multiple times in his heyday mid ‘80’s and he killed it every time. Destroyed people. Best show ever so I don’t know why he did that at Central. I sent him a message on TH-cam after his daughter passed bc I too lost a 19 yo daughter in a car wreck and he filed a copyright violation on me bc I had his song playing in the background and I’m not trying to even make money off of the video. If you listen to him over the last few years he talks like he’s crazy as hell. So, at this point he can kiss my Alabama a$$! F’ #hank

I don't think you realize it's not actually hank doing that. The lawyers from curb and another record company did that not him. Hear it all the time. Metallica was a big one everyone was complaining about doing that and they didn't know anything about it and got the people who watch for that stuff to stop. Hank Jr is my favorite artist of all time and you hear stories about him not interacting with fans and stuff but it seems like everyone has forgotten, he didn't have his dad, he never really got a childhood and has been doing this since he was 8. I mean I don't think he was ever really brought up how to do that stuff which is a shame and doing it that long would have to be sick of it by now. He only plays about 20 shows a year anymore and yeah he pays people to do that stuff because that's how the business works. No one else is doing this themselves. For as great of success he has had, he hasn't had a very easy life if you think about it.
