yea so I've been missing around with Logic Pro x I'm pretty decent with it when it comes to doing things for myself but my friend just asked me to modernize the song pusherman by Curtis mayfield I tried to follow your steps but I don't have a keyboard so was wondering if there was another way to remix songs definitely would be a good skill to know for future references thanks
You mean you dont have a MIDI keyboard? Logic has a digital keyboard that uses your keyboard that you type with or you can enter the midi. I will try and make a quick video and trick on doing some of that stuff
hey I have a similar question to the guy who suggested this, how would I go around remaking a song from sratch, fully synthesised and a complete replicate as close as possible, its a task for my a-level music tech course, we have to replicate the song: Brick England-Jean-Michel Jarre and pet shop boys, note by note, sound by sounds, etc (with no score)

You can either make an acapella from a song and do eq to it to filter out just main vocals - I can do a tutorial on that. also, you can look for acapella version of the song and use that to remix

You have to find the acapella version! Or you can try mid side eq yo see if that works. Cut the lows out and use the filtered audio creatively

How do I find the chords and key/ pitch ?
You can look them up online. Or if you have autotune you can use auto key plugin to find the key and try different chords out.
How do you inport the song into logic?
you can just drag and drop into logic or use the logic file browser
