What a distance Chance has come! From not wanting to be on camera to being so comfortable with himself that he can cry and give his father his “flowers” in front of his wife and the world. LOOK AT GOD! This was an outstanding episode and what a great example of a GOD fearing man Tab’s father is! I am humbled and honored to be able to witness what real family love is all about. You can definitely tell Auntie Tab’s daddy played an important role in helping Chance in his manhood. This episode spoke to me in more ways than one. 🥺 I love their family!! 🫶🏾

Definitely wisdom in community. It's not just elders. I've learned things from even children. You never know who God will use to educate/help you. But also not everyone's advice is for you, not even if it's an elder. Age does not exactly equal wisdom. Remember what Ahitophel advised Absalom to do and how that turned out.

I am only 20 minutes in and this is just so refreshing and gave me so much joy. Daddy helped his son in law grow and helped support them in loving one another.Yet he always put his daughter first, but knew in supporting his son in law it would also help his daughter. Just the way Tab talks about her father and trusting her dad and knowing he will protect her always... it's something a lot of people don't have. Do not drink the millennial cool-aid that says we are strong and independent; we don’t need a man; “men ain’t this and that”. We are stronger when we have THIS. She keeps God above her, her daddy to the left and Chance to the right. Beautiful!! This was such a powerful episode for so many reasons. Thank you Auntie Tab 🥰🥰🥰 #fridayswithtabandchance

They don’t make men like the older North Carolina men no more. I am a North Carolina Daddy’s girl at 45 years old. I miss my Dad daily. He recently passed. My Husband and my Dad loved one another the way Chance and Bro Thomas loves one another. I am so thankful for my Father. I hurt for my Mom. My Dad was all she knew. They were married over 50 years. Pray for our family as we push through grief.
It's an honor to have your father have the relationship he has with your husband. My father said he didn't want to let me go but once he felt that I was in good hands with my husband. We've been married now for 19 years and we've been together. 23 and my father tells him all the time I knew I made a right decision. I knew my daughter was in good hands. It's a beautiful thing❤

I cried like a baby at Age 40 😢...I called my Daddy just to say thank you. ❤
I must say this was a top-tier conversation. It was practical, relatable, and encouraging.
😂😂😂 Chance "aint nobody come to see you Otis!" Daddy took over!
🤣🤣🤣
🤣
The love in the room. POWERFUL .A praying Momma and Daddy. This is a grown folks conversation.
With TOTAL respect Ms. Tab and to your Dads wife....your Dad is SO FINE!!
Yes he is❤
Whew child - every time Daddy started talking he had me tearing... but whew honey Chance brought the flood child... I was over here sniffling and snotting.... Great episode guys..
This was such a Beautiful episode. The admiration in Tab's eyes for her daddy and Chance is unmatched. And the admiration, appreciation, thankfulness, trust, and respect Chance has for his father-in-law by giving him his flowers on THAT day had me in tears. I continue every week to look forward to FWTC.❤
Patricia 🥰

Very well said! God bless you!
Thank you friend ❤️God bless you!
Chance got us crying in this one. That was so touching to see. What a wonderful legacy "daddy" is leaving for the next two generations.
The vulnerability and love between these two men is a blessing to witness. ❤ to the families
My father-in-law is the TRUTH! I appreciate this moment between Chance and his father-in-law. To God be the glory!!!
I just love how Tab loves her husband and father, and she has such reverence for both of them.
Father is an action word. 🙌🏾
TAB YOUR FATHER NEEDS TO WRITE A BOOK....❤❤...WOW
Wow the importance of a healthy loving father on a relationship and marriage. And Tabitha is a really good communicator so many skills are shown in this talk
This is an extra special edition! So many life lessons in this episode! God is in control of ALL things! ❤
I love her dad was so supportive and not make it a competition and supported their relationship. To help guide Chance to be an great partner for his daughter is so amazing. Their conversation had me in tears❤
This was a powerful Episode the things they all shared the good the bad and the ugly. This is a real family God is first and it shows.
Beautiful Black Love from a FATHER to His children. Beautiful and everyone need to see this Black Love, our Elders are Everything!!! I Love them and I Respect ALL OF THEM FAMILY OR NOT!! BEAUTIFULLY DONE.💜💙💜💙🥰🥰🥰PRICELESS! PERIOD.
This was incredibly precious… how often do we get to see this level of love, gratitude and respect exchanged between 2 generations of Black men? Never. I’m grateful and feel as though we were all blessed to witness your husband give your Dad “his flowers now” 🙏🏾
This was so beautiful. Tab's dads impact on Chance and how he motivated him to be a good partner is so awesome. Then when he gave him his Flowers!!? Bye, I couldnt stop the tears! I loved it. Also, Tab is her daddys twin and Tasha is her mom's 😊 They are truly blessed.
Okay one more comment. The thing I think we all missing. Here is the love that she has for her father and the love that she has for her husband is what bonds everything together. Her being a beautiful soul is what brings it all together
I’m in tears, You can tell the Spirit of God was there in Chance, that was beautiful to see❤️
I've always been impressed at how Tab's "Deddy" brings out Lil' Tab, every single time. Chance too. Children need fathers, even us adult ones. I love their relationship and ones like it. That letter to her father brought the waterworks! Her father has the sweetest spirit and Chance's energy mirrors Tab's father's in many ways.
Also, when a Black man puts on his pinky rang, you know it's a special occasion and serious bidness.
Waiting for Chance's podcast! He is so real, honest and insightful!
Poignant….man, I was crying when Chance was crying….he got the father in law he deserved- and vice versa…❤️
Lawd....Chance got us all crying 😭 🤧 . This was so beautiful. I pray my future husband has a wonderful relationship with my Daddy. This was so beautiful to watch.
Thank you both for bringing your Dad in for this wonderful, insightful, reminiscences of the past.
Your father was a good father, still is,and obviously rubbed off on your wonderful husband CHANCE.❤
May GOD continue to bless, keep your family safe, all areas in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏾
Keep your relationship with JESUS, he's brought, and kept you all this far.✌🏾

Me too
I wanted to ask cause I didn’t know about this until about a week ago. How do I get that and watch it or is that the Music one if you don’t mind telling me. Thank You
Look at God. The respect Chance has for his father in law was so heartfelt and beautiful. Tab you are indeed a blessed woman. Its beautiful to have shared this moment before the world. Love your amazing family,❤
When Chance said, "I thank you for seeing me." I was done. 😢
Thank you for sharing this moment with us. Wow. So beautiful to see such a healthy dynamic between two black men who aren't related by blood. You're so blessed, Tab!
This was a beautiful conversation.🥺 It's great to see things come full circle for ya'll beautiful black folks. 🙏🏾
