40s is great working weather. If I was closer I would bring a tractor with a 5 foot mower and front bucket. I'm so excited and it's not even my house. Another great video bub.

I remember back in the day, family, and friends would get together, and help each other on projects. We kids would have the best of times, we helped, but we got to see people we didn't ordinarily see everyday. Good to see Brian, have missed him. Love what you are doing, your doing what many of us would like to do. To late for me, to old now. Happy to see you have a mailing address now. Can't wait for the next video on this.

I have to hand it to you for tackling this project. It IS huge, but so worth it. I can't wait til you get to renovating that beautiful house. But, please, please, wear eye and ear protection while using that chainsaw! With a little luck, you will be older one day, and will say to your self "Why did I think I was indestructible?" It's a long life of regret, and I've heard so many people say this to themselves and others.... I wish you well!

Best fried catfish I ever put in my mouth was at an isolated, no-name gas station smack in the middle of Texas. It was something of a local secret we stumbled into while on a Harley road trip. A group of ladies did a fish fry in the back of the gas station every Friday night, and they'd obviously been doing it their whole lives. Quite the well-oiled machine - no pun intended! The gas station had a nice little seating area hidden out back and we had a fabulous time eating, drinking and getting to know the local folks. You just never know what you'll find or who you'll meet when you take the blue lines on the map.

From what I could see at one time it had its charm n I sure hope u r planning on bringing that back n not turning this into some modern house. I had k ow idea that Westeros vines got that big n privit hedges I remember my Moma telling that those were invasive. I’m looking so forward to watching ur Vlog. Be careful out there. ♥️😊👍

It is just as thick here, but it's grape vines, hickory trees, honeysuckle, buckthorn, and other things in my way. Our wild grape get as big as that wisteria -- it's insane. I think of all the history that goes along with these old houses. You wonder about the people too and their lives through this time who lived there. Just a word of advice, as we have done a lot of construction. Don't spend a ton of time on restoration on the house until you go a good assessment of the structure. The rot and decay may have done more significant damage that you can easily see.

you need a forest mulcher. Its like a skid steer with a long arm with a brush hog on it. It can clear pretty thick tree saplings and thick vines and under brush.
