I've finally finished the topper for a quilt that I've been working on for over a year and am going to be basting it together tomorrow. I was feeling nervous about that step, but this video makes it look so easy! I've got my adhesive spray and feel so ready now. 🤞🤞 Thank you Emily, you're the best!

I liked seeing how much spray to use. I am never know if I am over doing it. I too use pins for the extra security. Great video.

This was such a helpful video! I am new to quilting so I am very happy to have found your channel! Is the spray adhesive safe to use when it is minky on minky fabric? Or is it better for cotton on minky?

Thank you! Great video! How do you clean the adhesive that gets on your floor? I’ve used Clorox wipes but was curious what you do.

I normally don’t have much overspray but when I do, just normal swiffer mopping does the trick!

Does the spray wash away later or is it permanently there? Is this a safe method for a baby blanket?

It washes away! And I use it on my baby quilts 😊

Do you have any suggestions for older quilters who cannot crawl on the floor and get up from the floor?

I’ve heard people do it vertically by using wall space! Or large tables if you have access to any large meeting spaces or even a public library

Thank you for your reply. You’re very lucky you can crawl around on the floor. If I were able to get on the floor I would need to use my medical alert to get help to get up from the floor. A video to help all of us would be nice, not just for young people. I’m just jealous. I wish I was young again.

Great video! Do you ever have issues with overspray on your floors? That's kind of what is stopping me from trying spray adhesive on a big project. I have used it on smaller projects but I make sure I am doing it on cardboard. Am I being crazy? LOL!
