Reforged Eden is a complete overhaul scenario for Empyrion - Galactic Survival, a 3D open world space sandbox survival game. Deuterium if I remember High School is the fancy Latin for "Heavy Water" the precursor to uranium/plutonium enrichment. Anyways you get the "Heavy Water" from mining Dense Ice Asteroids. Then you're able to manufacture fuel to utilize the various Rich Asteroids with all sorts of names, which you deconstruct/manufacture research reports, etc.

I got duetronium by mining rich ice asteroids.

When you 'deconstruct' the mined Rich Ice, you get deuterium, but I can't remember what else (water/coolant possibly). When mining Rich Ice (or Rich Asteroids) you need the Deconstructor Active with its input set to the Harvest Controller, and it's output set elsewhere. Stay out of the Harvest Box when a Rich Ice or Rich Asteroid miner completes a cycle, otherwise you get the 'Inventory Full' error and you lose what its mined.
When mining the Rich Asteroids the Deuterium Fuel cells go in the Ammo Box.
