The repair kits in the deco section of the constructor get used on "Damaged" Colonist and Polaris Ships that a player can come across in orbits. Get paid credits and rep points but I think they don't reset on servers so it might be a one and done per ship. I found plenty of Damaged Colonist but haven't found Damaged Polaris. I believe the Damaged Polaris was RE1 but might be in RE2 and Damaged Colonist started on RE2.
Strangely enough, I found some dense ice asteroids orbiting a planet. Didn't hang around, you need to mine the complete asteroid to get anything. To many red dots around so moved on.
The mini-map can sometimes lie, as often red dots are just drones. What you actually need to do is look on the main system map, as this more clearly shows the designation. If its not a CV symbol and they're more than 10km from you and not moving towards you you're generally safe. Even in nominally safe Dense Ice Asteroid fields, you will often get a swarm of Drones swarm, and sometimes you can mine 2 of the 3 fields without issue and then you suddenly get half a dozen drones appear. More often than not in 'planetary' or 'moon' asteroid fields you will get a pirate or two rather than anything else.
@@larsongates7745 Ty for the information. Drones can be a pain in space, especially as the audio makes then sound stronger than they actually are. Often at the first explosion think that a hostile CV to attacking to find it is just a couple of drones. :))

Ty for the feedback. Something else to keep an eye open for them.

Ty for the information. Hopefully will find one soon.
