One ice mining turret will take time to mine an asteroid . Eventually you will get , dense ice and compressed ice. Once deconstructed the former gives deuterium plus 5 other elements. Compressed ice gives a ton of water containers
Put the ice turret on the underside of the ship. Where you have it ,it will prevent the Artillery turret from firing forward. Also make sure you set the turret settings correctly. It will target and mine automatically if on, and if in range of a Dense or Compact Ice asteroid. The targeting can be a bit odd with multiple turrets (and yes you really want at least 3), where it will randomly switch between asteroids in range. You have some form of 'invisible' block where the satellite dish is. Finding out where it is and removing it is ever the problem. BH stars as Black Holes... not the same as 'B' class stars. And you didn't turn the shield back on, on the Hydra!
