Thank you for such a great video! SO helpful! I don't usually comment on videos, but here for the algorithm. Your channel deserves more subscribers!
Thank you for this, brother.
I didn't use a Blue Yeti but your process basically worked the same way for the mic I use.
Really appreciate you taking the time. Super helpful.
Thank you very much for this video! It worked for me and luckily I already had all cables ready.
This looks like it might be the solution to my problem! Thank you so much - I'm going to try this out tomorrow!
Thank you for this! was trying to figure this out for days!
Subscribed!! You’re the only one that has this video !!
How are you monitoring with headphones with your headphone jack is occupied?
Awesome! Very straght to the point and very helpful thank you.
thank you for this tutorial. I'm still so conflicted about getting mic for my camera and this is so helpful. thank you sir
good explanation bro..keep up the great work!
Great video you deserve a million subs
Thank you so much!!!! Awsome review!!
Thank you so much I needed this!!
Very helpful video. I was disappointed to learn that I could not power my Yeti with a wall powered cord, and it had to be powered through a computer. This is because the Yeti DOES require a driver. Otherwise, your video is perfect, and I wish I had seen it before I went through the trail-and-errors of connecting my Yeti to my GoPro.
thank you so much for this video very helpful... like smashed!
This helped a lot, thanks for the great video....:)
Thank you for this video !! Life saver fr
Great video as usual, bit high tech for me. Excellent presentation 👍❤️

This saved me buying a new microphone, thank you! 🎉

Wow. Love the standing desk setup. Got me thinking 🤔
hah it's a game changer for me, had to get another one for work-from-home setup and I absolutely love it.

YESSSS YESSSS. YESSSSS FINALLYYYYYY
great video thanks
thank you so much it works
Great! Thank you 😊
Hi, thanks for the video! Please what are the specifications oof the camera you're using in the video?
Good tip on setting camera gain to minimal. I’ve got a Fuji X-A7 with poor preamp so I’ll try this.
Thanks, how did it go with the Fuji?
Hi, great video.I just finished speaking to the Yeti tech support, as i wanted clarity on how to connect my Blue Yeti to my GoPro. They said it was only compatible with computers. I am very confused. If you could help me, as to which cable I would require to connect my Blue Yeti to the audio adapter of my go pro 9 black? Thank you !
Can you recommend a cable? My two current 3’ TRS cables give a hum but my short 6” cable does not.
The first cable you plugged in that goes to the computer I have a Mac so I don’t have the USB can I hook up the cable from the mic to a port and the port to my Mac ?!
So basically we have to comnect both cable. The one that comes with the microphone and the trs to trs cable as well for it to work on camera.
Thank you .
They have phantom power devices out now. I'm trying one for $12.99 on Amazon. Thanks for the video. Really helped. Just would prefer if I can skip having my laptop next to my filming location. Thanks 🙏🏾
Followup, do you think this process might work with the Samson Q2U?
Will it work on the Ampligame a8?
Can you please link in reply to my comment the trs cable to connect mic with camera? The ones I’m finding on Amazon are either very very short or like 20 ft long , I would love one like 6 feet long or around that, I’d appreciate your help .
Hey buddy, what cord do you have?
Most people have really small cords. Mine only goes to like 15 cm which isn't long enough
How do I take off the original microphone off? Really struggling with this
Great video! I think you may have said it, but can you adjust all your audio setting on your editing software before recording (which is what I'm currently doing) or do you have do to all the audio settings on the camera? Also, I watched a few other similar videos, you're the only one who mentioned turning the gain to maximum...is that necessary?
For the second question I think it depends, there are two ways to control the audio for this setup, one is the gain knob and the second is the volume knob, the way I showed in the video works best for me, but I think you can do some trial and error to see what sounds best?
For the first question yea absolutely, the priority is to make sure the audio sounds as best as possible while recording, the worst thing that can happen is the audio clipping, which is why I mentioned in the video that it should never go above -12dB. Once you have that established then you can adjust the volume in your editing software.
Hope it helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
Headphones are plug in to te camera ?
Hello. A subscriber told me that they can only listen to my video through the left ear bud. I also have the Sony zve10. Would you know where the issue is?Ty
Bonjour,
I want to buy one of these mics for my Sony zv1 for my ASMR content
This is a great video why don’t you have affiliate links to the products?!
Thanks for the video! In your opinion is the Sony ZV 1 also a good camera to hook up to the blue Yeti for ASMR videos? As far as sound quality
I use it for this and I'd say yes! ❤
Wow!
I always thought that mics are connected to the cameras.
What are your headphones connected to?
Did you ever find this out? I'm dying to know how to do this!!
How come my base volume has s much static
I did this but for some reason the video comes out with alot of static noise. do you happen to know why?
Same for me!
same for me. I think we need branded TRS cable
Yea it can happen if the audio cable is near where there's electric interference, try to make sure the audio and USB cables are clear from any interference from other devices
I do these steps but when I play my recorded clip back there is no audio on it
This happened to me too!!
Where is the microphone port? Its just the power C type port and a headphone port ONLY.
Just above the Type C port
name objektive pls ?
I think you still have to plug it into a computer because it still needs drivers to operate which cannot run just on a power source
Ah, so the camera would also receive whatever the blue software dos in terms of equalizing?
Yes it would put the eq in the cam, very nice.
Doesn't work with the Sony zv1
did not work for me somehow :/
Can you describe what issue you're facing?
@@HasanNiz it just don't record the sound through my blue yeti I tried everything already :/
@@veganveteran hey man , did you overcome the problem yet ? I’m facing the same issue, the sound in coming from my camera not the mice :(
@@yassirhalaoui bro same here, i read other people had the same problem , I'm usin a 3 rings trrs cable and nothing!
@@veganveteran did you make ir work?
The headphone jack! SMH. The other tips are great though.
I'm trying to conect my blue yeti but nothing, I read a lot of peopel had the same problem , I'm using a 4 pole( 3 rings) trrs 3.5 mm cable and nothing. Any tip bro ? 🥲
