I’ve been a huge fan of Finch BBQ since Chris was just making sauce one jar at a time. So happy to see him getting some love from Meat Church. If anyone out there hasn’t tried it yet, go order a bottle immediately! Best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had.
Made these for dinner tonight, and they were perfection! The whole family loved them. We even made the cocktail! This recipe will be on repeat this summer. It was my first time using Finches and Brushfire's products ... they are delicious and high-quality.
Agreed - I was worried I went a little overboard ordering all the random stuff for this recipe but it was SO good. We will be making these for the next party for sure. Looking forward to trying the other jelly flavors that came in the pack.
My wife gave me my first Meat Church rubs for Father's Day (Holy Gospel and Honey Hog). I've been wanting to try them for a while. Can't wait to give them a try.
You won’t be disappointed w Meat Church rubs. Can affirm Holy Voodoo on wings. I do 2/2/1 Holy Voodoo/buttery chicken/pepper. Sauce w Sweat Baby Rays for most and Buffalo for the hearty. Dang I want some wings now.
Matt thank you so much for being such a supportive and creative BBQ guy! The way you support the small guys is awesome! What a blessing to have your product used and in front of an entirely new set of bbq fans and customers! Can’t wait to try this combo!
I’ve been a MeatChurch fan for a few years but this video by far is my favorite! Food, festivities (alcohol) and fun! Loved all the character you showed in this one Matt!! 🤙🏾
Ordered the ingredients and made these as shown for the Chesney show yesterday at Gillette Stadium. They were a huge hit and flavors were amazing. I’ll be sure to stock Finch’s and Brushfire for the future.
Fabulous!! And there aren't better people to support! The more I get to know Chris, the more I like him, and I'm so glad to see you do...well...what ya do, my man. Being the rising tide that lifts all ships. Great video! Cheers, brutha! 🍻
“Being the rising tide that lifts all ships”; I’ve never heard that before, but I like that and will be taking it with me. It definitely captures the sentiment behind one of the main reasons I support this brand.
Absolutely agree with making a recipe your own. My only self-imposed rule is, make it once by the book to see where you're at. Then, change-up as desired. Matt, finally got ahold of Blanco here in Kelowna. Love it!
I had a wonderful time at the 10th Anniversary party. Your videos make me a better griller and smoker. I look forward to them every day or so. FYI, when you mentioned no commercials, there were commercials in this video. But that's okay. I just wait until the 5-second signal and click back to the show. Keep up the great work, Matt. We can't wait to come back to your store.
mix that voodoo seasoning with equal amount of cornstarch to make more of a pebble-y texture and toss the wings in it and the wings get that oh so delicious crunch when grilling
You certainly can but crunch wasn't my goal on this cook. I have videos with that technique and other crisping techniques. 2 really goof crispy chicken wings videos on this channel. Cheers!
Can not wait to try this method. Thanks so much for such an entertaining and informative production. Also thanks for sharing great cooking related products.
So good, forgot to take pics. So good, haven’t washed my face cuz my mustache still tastes like these wings!! Big shout out to Bushfire and FinchBbq for some amazing products that paired perfect together! Thanks Matt for the recipe. My potato salad will be perfect with these!!!!
Awesome stuff Matt! My kitchen cabinets are stocked with your rubs!! Since watching your videos the quality of my smoking and grilling has went to the next level of awesomeness!!!
The reference to Leo Gallagher caught me by surprise. it's been years since I saw any of his stand-up specials, and he's mostly been forgotten since his death. So that was a huge blast from the past.
Man, you are rolling today! Love Gallagher. Love a good wing. And the cocktail sounds epic. I will definitely be picking up some of the prickly pair products. Thank you for another great video with ideas for outdoor grilling.
I knew about the Jam thing, tried it a few times with Habenero Bacon Jam, just never thought to combine it with a Barbecue sauce. Good idea! If you hang around smart people (watch their videos), you’ll get smarter. Thanks Matt!
Hey Matt! Great recipe. How do you think these would turn out if you marinated overnight similar to the way you did on the honey hog hot wings video where you used the pickled jalapeños juice with your marinade
Will be doing this one as soon as the BBQ sauce and prickly jam arrive. If you ever are in AZ you have to hit Tortilla Flat for Prickly Pear ice cream! Keep em coming!
Great Cook. Char grilled wings are my favorite. With those added flavors puts it over the top. This one is going in the file!! And a Cocktail Chaser. Thank you for Sharing.😛😛👍✌
Holy Voodoo is probably my favorite of your rubs Matt. It just goes with everything. Never thought about it on wings, but got to give it a shot now. RTR as well!
Hey Matt, I've been cooking your recipe for Korean gochujang wings for a year now and they're always the first to go! How would you compare these Pear Burner wings to them?
Dude! Mouth is watering like a geyser. And that Topo Chico cocktail is definitely on my playlist for this weekend. Thx for sharing Matt! Cheers to the weekend.
No commercials!? Pretty sure there was one in the middle of your video. BTW....love this new wing recipe. Just tried your W sauce chicken thigh sandwich last night for dinner. Was a winner! Thanks again for another delicious recipe. Keep em coming!
Another amazing recipe AND a Gallagher nod! Love it!! It certainly feels like TX in NE OH today…. So I’m about to drink some ranch water, and I won’t be mad about it! (See what I did there Matt). Thanks for the excellent content brother, cheers
Fantastic as always. When I would go surfing down in Baja, we called our cocktail "Baja Fog". Take a Corona, chug the first gulp, then fill the neck with tequila and add a lime :: Simple living!!! PS: love prickly pear in most anything. PSS: laughed my ass off over the Gallagher reference (RIP).
@@MeatChurchBBQ Of course I grabbed a ton of Meat Church Product from Ace Hardware and Amazon over the past 2 years. Even grabbed a Traeger Timberline XL after watching your videos of it last year and the fall before. I'm loving it!
I love me some Holy Voodoo! But, you have to be really careful as it burns easily. Lot of sugar in there or something. I usually go kinda low temp on the grill with the wings.
After watching the video, i immediately ordered some of the BBQ sauce and jam. The sauce came in without any problems, but my order for the jam is still waiting. Here is their reply. Ok I will look into this and get back to you. Apologies on the delay. The Meat Church post flooded us with an insane amount of orders. We are working non stop to produce product and pack it all and get it out the door. Thank you for the order!
Hey Matt....if I'm doing these on a Kamado Joe, would I just get to 450 and leave the dome open? I know if you close it they cook much faster and hotter. Also thinking the higher grill grate because lower tends to flame up and burn the skin...thoughts?
Thanks so much for giving us this shout out, Matt! Brushfire Farms appreciates y'all big time!!
We appreciate your awesome Texas made products. Thanks James!!!
Just ordered 3
Definitely grabbing some!
I grabbed me a jar and if it’s good I’ll be ordering some more
I'm definitely getting some of these products

Love the wings and the drink recipe was an entertaining bonus!
