After Crash 4, it's refreshing and relaxing to see Lewis do a time trial series so chill that he's willingly replaying levels to improve his time, rather than slowly dying inside
It's honestly nice to see Lewis decides to go for subs on certain levels. It really feels nice to pull off shortcuts and dmg boost aku to skip most section and end with a time you certainly appreciate

I wish Wrath of Cortex could have been given the N. Sane Trilogy treatment and be DLC for that game. Sure, it would have taken longer to get assets made compared to a single level, even with flipping what they had to save time, but I'd have paid for it.
It’s not really a glitch like I said it was, just how aku I-frames work in this game, it will happen naturally if you touch an enemy on monkey bars, you’ll fall in and stay alive for a bit It’s a cool trick to get some impressive times
Hey, Lewis! Loved this video! I love woc, and am actually a speed runner for it. I’d be very glad to give advice if in the future, you’d like to get some PB’s here. To show my credibility, here are my times on the levels in this video: on wizards and lizards, I have 23.65, which is actually wr. On compactor reactor, I have 30.95 which is half a second from wr on NTSC-U/C. And on jungle rumble, I got 52.98 which is about 2 seconds from wr, and one that I hope to improve in the near future. I also recently got wr on weathering heights, and my best is 8.28 seconds!

Wtf you beat my Compactor Reactor time the first try by .38 milliseconds. Seems like It’s About Time made you into a great Crash player. You also got sub 1 minute on Jungle Rumble like me. Are you secretly a god gamer now?
Wizards and Lizards would have been a great Crash 3 Level for sure, great soundtrack but crash 3 had enough Medieval levels e.g., toad village, gee wiz and double header
This will probably be one of the easier platinum relic runs. Then again I said that about N Sane Crash 2 and look how that ended up for you. XD Only ones I think will really give you trouble are droid void because the crappy mech suit and coral canyon because of the crappy submarine. I still say this is the better Crash 4. At least to complete. :P
"Not that difficult" you forget Bamboozled already? XD But no, most of them aren't that bad. There are a few that might take a few tries, and then a few that might have you forming ulcers. I love the levels in this game that have you starting outside, then infiltrating a lab using some kinda vehicle.
@@WumpaLewis I honestly thought it was pretty hard even after figuring out the route. Chaining everything together just right in the time it gives you was pretty challenging, at least to me
If you want to shave off another half a second, instead of running into the nitro crate on the right to blow up the time crate/s, hug the left side and just get the nitro exploder crate at the end of the level instead
5:20 Taking notes from Tooney, I see? 😉 8:22 I'm gonna say it, the underwater levels are TERRIBLE. I'd take Crash 3's water levels any day over the ones in this game. I feel like in the racing games the relics are made redundant thanks to the time trial mode, I'd rather achieve good times there because I don't need to go out of my way to pick crates up. I might do them at some point

It certainly isn’t cheating as it’s just the way they designed the game, it makes it easier but whether you carry masks over or not it’s probably the easiest crash game to get the platinums on

You CAN sub minute on this level, but BARELY on PS2 version. I got 0:59:96 after countless trying.
Looking forward to when you get to Eskimo Roll (level 14), that's the hardest platinum in the game imo but it's also really fun all things considered

Bamboozled wasn’t actually hard, I just didn’t know where the end of the level was at first

But by time I get to the detonator the clock will already be much further ahead than 59 seconds without that time picked up early on
