    While I have taken umbrage with some of the disparaging comments towards charismatics on this channel, the fidelity to the Church’s Magisterium and upholding the inerrancy of scripture is a breath of fresh fire in a world grown soft and mushy through the errors of modernism. This sermon is priceless! Thanks for posting!

    The traditional Chinese character for boat "chuan" has 3 pictures inside of the character: 1) floating vessel, 2) eight 3) mouths (which is a measure word for people). In other words, 8 people in a boat.... = The Ark

      @Patrick Montgomery lol. I am sure God could use anything. God has used angels before and their not human. God used a deer to convert St. Hubert the hunter. God bless you.

    • @AaronShaunBrennan

      @Patrick Montgomery Why is all your writing in caps? And when you state something or make a judgement like "a lost RC like you" you end with a bunch of ????. Didn't Christ say do not judge or you'll be judged. I stand by my words that God can save people by any means He wishes. It doesn't have to be a human. I disagree with you sir. I believe the true faith teaches this also. Please don't reply with all caps and question marks and exclamation marks on everything. If you want to enter a dialog and have people take you seriously you must at least try and write in proper English. God bless

    Such a great talk. As a child I never thought any different to what the bible says. There’s secular evidence of the same... just what the church needs in the times we are in.

      Golly five years ago you left this message, and yet what a time we have been through since 2020 - heavens if we thought things were getting a bit Orwellian in 2019 - well you know what I mean! Last year a woman was arrested and criminally charged in Britain - not ten miles from where I was born - for peacefully standing in a public place, quietly praying in her own mind. That is now an offence. Dear Lord please help us.

    I had a priest tell my children's catechist training class that the Flood did not happen. I was FUMING mad. I challenged him on this. But the priest and the trainer looked at me like I was a fundamentalist. Then when the topic morphed into the origin of mankind, I was challenged and humiliated because I do not believe in Darwinism, in the theory of Evolution.
    Is God a liar? Is Jesus a liar?
    I was so close to quitting and shoving it all. But then I suspected that if I quit, children are going to be mislead into error. I persisted.

    This is little known, but there is a theory that the ancient Traditional Chinese written characters represent certain concepts from the Old Testament. That may explain why there is a push to “modernize “ the written Chinese characters.

    Actually it states in the catechism as well in scripture I think the letters of St. Peter state that people can be saved outside the faith if by no fault of their own they were not preached the gospel and had no knowledge of it through ignorance. Assuming they lived a noble life with dignity and goodness to the best of their conscience towards neighbor.
    Off course I am willing to be corrected on this in case I am misinterpreting the teachings...

    • @marvalice3455
      @marvalice3455 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The catechism also says that if such a man exists his salvation is still through the merits of the church, and based on that he would have believed and been baptized had he been given the chance

    The Father God of the Romans was named Jus, which is declined as Jus, Jovis, Jovi, Jovem, Jove. Jupiter comes from the Roman habit of praying to Jus Pater (Father Jus), which was corrupted into Juppiter. Iuppiter is how the Romans spelled it..
    I agree with the New American Bible commentary the priest quoted. So what if a lot of Genesis is myth and not historical reality? It is still the Word of God which tells what we must understand about reality. To wit: we are born corrupted and need a savior. Also, there is no such thing as humans achieving a perfect world. Not going to happen.

    • @SensusFidelium
      @SensusFidelium  9 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      bammbamm12 not weird at all. Quite a few priests do not want their names out. Why? They do not want to be 'celebrity priests' nor do they want people flooding their parish with emails. Also, who cares about the name? He is in good standing with Rome & devout. It's the message not the person
