Thank you for this spiritual toolkit as we begin to prepare for a very difficult chapter ahead in Church history. It honestly made me weep as I watched, feeling the desolation that comes with not having access to the sacraments that we all take for granted - weddings, baptisms, mass, confession, extreme unction. This is what the people of Ireland endured during the time of Cromwell's suppression of the Church, and I assume happened in 1780s during the French Revolution, in China, and wherever the Church was suppressed. In the turmoil of the past year in the Church AND global political events this information is feeling very much like spiritual direction for Catholics who recognize the reality of the situation. Thank you, Fr Ripperger,
My son who was a very premature birth was baptized twice, by Catholic priests. Once in the NICU and then again in the church in the formal baptism. Praying that this is ok!!
@@euchariambachu2543 It was not two baptisms. The second was rectifying the NICU lay baptism. A lay person cannot give the exorcisms, etc. But had the baby not survived, he’d have gone straight to Heaven. Since that did not happen, he will need the extra graces assuming he lives to the age of accountability. It’s actually Church law to present such a person to the priest in a Church according to the normal means.
Courage will be so needed.. as it was for the Martyrs! If we love God tenderly every day ..and ask Him to give us whatever we will need to carry out His will ..He will most certainly be with us as he was with the three men in the fiery furnace and every Martyr .. We have to make the most of every day while we are still able,to grow closer to Him,Our Lady and the Saints..and Angels.. and keep our eyes on HOME
I’m glad to find this. I’ve been feeling anxious over the fact I just found out I’ve got a deadly disease, but I can’t go to mass because I had surgery, and I can’t get anyone at any of the 4 parishes I’ve contacted to respond to me about anointing of the sick or planning for death. The Protestant chaplain at the hospital said a prayer with me, and followed up after I returned home. Sadly, my mom’s Protestant pastor is retiring at the end of this year too, so she will be without anyone to reinforce her faith during all this too. She lost her mom year before last, my dad last year, and now faces losing me, so of course I worry about her. I’m a convert, so I wanted to arrange my funeral to relieve her of trying to fulfill Catholic customs, but I know as little as she does, but now she won’t even be able to get her Protestant minister to officiate. Not to mention that I’d just like to do as much as I still can to die in a good state. I pray God forgives me, because all I can do is privately express my sorrow for all the times I’ve sinned against him, and the church has nothing to offer, not even simple human contact. It’s pretty stark to realize you aren’t part of a Christian community. You’re just alone, and the church can’t bring you any closer to the Lord than your simple faith and love can bring you.
My uncle was actively dying of seven kinds of leukemia from his time in the military doing nuclear testing in Nevada. He was given up by the doctors and was back home in a hospital bed in the den, where he wanted to die. My aunt called all over including to her own parish and couldn’t get a priest. A neighbor lady whom she didn’t know all that well somehow heard of my uncle’s illness. She came over with several casseroles so my aunt and disabled cousin didn’t have to cook. It turned out she was a Maronite Catholic and her priest was glad to come to him. He was literally there in an hour. My uncle made his confession, received Holy Communion, and Last Rites. My uncle passed away peacefully two days later. After this experience, my aunt, cousin, and two of my married cousins all found the SSPX and have gone there ever since. It’s a 90 minute drive, but well worth it. Two of the adult grandchildren do the driving. My aunt is now 92, but rarely misses Mass.
Agh.. I baptized my son when he was an infant. He is adopted and I called the church and they wouldn’t Baptize him until the adoption was final. So as not to potentially cause a problem. I was heart broken and my mother said you can baptize him until we can have his actually baptism. So that’s what I did??? I hope I didn’t make a mistake!! He was formally baptized by the church once the adoption was all done and closed but yes,, I did my best and I baptized my son when he was a baby for his safety is why I did it..
You did right. But, if you have anxiety about it, find a good, holy, faithful, obedient and knowledgeable Catholic Priest and make an appointment to discuss it. Confession is still very important; but the Priest can advise you better outside of the Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance/Confession. God Bless you 🙏❤🕊✝️⛪
You did your best...with the knowledge and understanding you had at the time...trust in God in all things - He is faithful! If you used the correct matter and form and valid intentions, then your child was validly baptized. All you need to do - I believe - is meet with your parish priest to explain the date, place and reason for the emergency baptism. From what you've said here - you have no moral culpability as far as sin.
He was in fact formerly baptized into the Catholic Church after the adoption became valid when he was just over a year old.. yah sometimes it takes awhile..
My mother and I recently had Covid. When I called our pastor and asked if someone could bring the holy Eucharist to our home I was told that he didn't feel comfortable asking anyone to do so. He then suggested that I notify him when we were cleared by our doctor.
When Fr. R talks about Fortitude, the image that comes to mind is Rocky Balboa...going 12 rounds and sustaining blow after blow, after blow. Lol. The blows coming for us are going to be much worse, but fasting and moritifcation now are certainly key because they're effectively "preliminary rounds" of suffering to develop our pain tolerance for what's coming. God bless.

Any other prepatory talks will certainly be welcomed. Thank you for taking the time to get us up to speed. God Bless! 😇🙏💕
Not necessarily, since the Internet allows us to have, at the very least, a glimpse or sense of the level of malfeasence and evil existing in our time. The truth is easily accessible, yet obscured by much distraction, distortion and obsfucation, by much of the present media machine.
Nothing stops you from saying the rosary. Even if you don't own one. If all the physical sacrament went away, it doesn't change your faith, or it shouldn't

That is a great question I've been having trouble with lately. Here in Brazil we almost don't have T.M, it's mostly Novus Ordo. And since the priests in the different parishes have become aware I prefer Catholicism prior to Second Vatican Council II it's been tough on me to get to confession. Also they have been pushing forward in ways to dessacrate even the Novus Ordo like putting the Eucharist Minister to lead Mass, and the priest will be absent.
We must learn from our Japanese and English brethern as they had to endure terrible persecution and were regularly unable to have any sacraments, rosaries, scripture, or worship. We as Christians are a flower that grows under stress

Pray pray pray. We need much prayer to have the courage needed for upcoming times.
I say the Holy Rosary every day. Plus the Chaplet of Divine Rosary.
You meant to say...the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, i believe!
Please make this a pamphlet for people to download and print
Please don’t!

1) daily spiritual communion 2) learn emergency baptism (Padre Peregrino had a good video in explaining it) 3) prep physically, get some supplies/food but don't go crazy if you don't have the means 4) say an act of contrition after you have committed venial sin...do daily examination of conscience 5) don't commit mortal sin 6) rosary and devotions 7) start practicing small suffering now....accept a long stoplight or grocery line, do some fasting....sorry if I missed anything
And maybe get a church missal so you can read the Mass on Sundays if you have no priests available
I think it is “Universalis” on-line (free) and has an App. that has Mass readings for the whole year, and for the Hours. Also The Little Office of the Virgin Mary for the year. but if the power is out, a hard copy is prob a good idea. or a solar charger for phones and devices. if wifi goes down, then IDK ❤
Yes it is
@@seemashalini4187 No, you can't be baptize twice. It is in the Catechism of the Catholic church.
@@euchariambachu2543and?
@@euchariambachu2543 It was not two baptisms. The second was rectifying the NICU lay baptism. A lay person cannot give the exorcisms, etc. But had the baby not survived, he’d have gone straight to Heaven. Since that did not happen, he will need the extra graces assuming he lives to the age of accountability. It’s actually Church law to present such a person to the priest in a Church according to the normal means.
A brilliant summary of what lies ahead ! Thank you and God bless and protect you Father.
Do you know what's sad about this is that most Catholics don't know about this because we were never taught it
I am praying for my son Luke who is newly married, that his marriage is successful!
PRAY, PRAY, PRAY FOR THE TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST !!!!
They just don’t get it. So sad. Jesus please love them and forgive them they do not know what they do.
@@bradleyjones7391,
Tell us then please...what don't they get?
Thank God I baptized all three of my kids as an emergency in the hospital!
My priest told me to keep praying for my sons, as well as my daughter and to not ever give up
This is the most helpful Fr Ripperger talk I think I've ever heard (and that IS saying something)
Lord God help me to carry my cross🙏🏻❤️
I wouldn't be worried about sinning mortally if I did that, since you did not know it is a mortal sin.
Even a heretic or a pagan can baptize a person. in an emergency.
Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.
My mother and I recently had Covid. When I called our pastor and asked if someone could bring the holy Eucharist to our home I was told that he didn't feel comfortable asking anyone to do so. He then suggested that I notify him when we were cleared by our doctor.
I made an act of perfect contrition this year. And I think I’m restored to my baptismal grace.
Thank you to this Holy Priest Father Ripperger We need more Priest like him! May God Bless you Father 🙏✝️❤️
God bless.
May God continue to Bless you in all that you do. 🙏
Thank you Father Ripperger for this very informative video about the Sacraments which is very much needed during this tumultuous times in our Churches and in the world. Your video is being forwarded to other people and is saved to listen again. One more time Thank you 🙏
Living and praying in the Divine Will are also good. Mary through the visionaries has said we need to establish a close relationship with ALL the Angels for this time coming, pray the Chaplet of St. Michael daily. Excellent talk Father, we really needed this as I like others were wondering what exactly do we do as we will not have been through this before here in the US, not like Communism. Any other prepatory talks will certainly be welcomed. Thank you for taking the time to get us up to speed. God Bless! 😇🙏💕
Found this extremely helpful. Thank you, Father and team. God bless you, Mary love you! Ave Maria.
Father please consider writing a book with all of this info in it….😊
❤✝️Thank you for all this Priesthood is helping us 🙏❤️ Prayer for all faithful Priesthood
Thank you Fr Ripperger! Your guidance is truly appreciated and needed. Keep ‘em coming!🙏🏻✝️
Thank you, Father.
Danke!
Thank you Father for your great teachings.
What an extraordinary talk. Thank you so much.
God knows what’s in your heart
Totally agree that we don’t know the amount of moral corruption that is really present in this world.
Fr. Ripp is Gold and whatever he said should not be taken with a grain of salt
Deo Gratius father Chad
Father is right that there will be temptation to distraction during chastisement, as it says in scripture. "I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted" Psalm 88:15
My TH-cam choice for tonight - Fr. Ripperger vs. Jordan Peterson, Bishop Barron and Fr. Mike Schmitz - I choose Fr. Ripperger! Thank you for saving my soul Father. 🙏🙏🙏
Jordan Peterson should be taken off the list lol. I don’t trust that guy.
@@mirandamarie84 I actually personally met him and Tucker in Calgary a couple of weeks ago. I just feel that he is wrestling with his intellect and submission to God with the help of Tammy he will get there in the end. Also he has been under an enormous amount of stress since 2017. But still would rather listen to Fr. Ripperger (sorry Jordan). Haven’t actually watched the panel discussion yet it is on my list.
Unfortunately Tucker is controlled opp. Owned by the Talmudic bankers
Where can this be located. Thank you
Should watch them all!
Going to now say a decade as per Penanceware requirement for viewing this valuable teaching. Thanks be to God.
Dear fr Ripperger,
I am not a Catholic but a Christian Orthodox. Even so I often offer my sufferings to Our Lady for the sake of pope Francisc to the best of my poor ability. Today I trust she has shown me the pope as a great fire which brings the Light to the entire church and I was left with a strong conviction that his level of Holiness is not something I will ever comprehend. I know she loves him in a different manner then any of us. I need you to know that no "draconian" thing can be born from such a fire of God.
Father please bless my weak soul.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve been promoted to gather books for nurturing my faith. Why? Perhaps for these times.
P.S. "Promoted" was the wrong word choice. Must have been tired.
I have been doing the same thing we have to know our Catholic Faith in these times so we don’t fall into false teachings
As have I.
Me too
Same here. I've learnt from them what is taught no longer by the Church and the priests.
Me too. Just found a lovely used Baltimore Catechism.
Thank you Fr. Ripperger, this information is fabuliys
I pray for you brother and sister amen our lord Jesus 🙏
We are already in that time in some places.
Make sure to wear brown scapular as long as possible every day. I try to only have it off in the shower since i don't want to get it wet.
It'll dry quickly or have two, new one for wearing always, older worn one for washing.
I wash in shower while it's on and it dries very quickly!
It's not as if the graces aren't there if you aren't wearing it in the shower. The Carmelite order has even said this.
I wear mine in the shower. Dry myself off, put a new Scapular on and hang up the wet Scapular to dry.
Father Issac Mary Relyea mentioned put on an old scapular for the shower. That way you're protected at all times.
All get blessed miraculous medal and scapular
Thanks
At the end of every EWTN mass there is a format for spiritual communion.
I was in the ER twice this week, I called for a priest more than once, and had no answer.
May God Bless and Heal you of your ailments.
Thank you, I truly needed to see your comment. Lately I've been impelled to go to the sick/dying. I'm no Priest, but I am a child of GOD & can't stand before the Holy Sacrament with empty hands anymore !!!
Pray for more good and holy priests to fill seminaries
Call your priest before going to ER
Not surprising
This is an amazing message ....
I can hear the voice of Holy Spirit in the message. I feel the battle happening in my soul already.
Can't hear the people's questions Father - I do wish you would repeat their questions so we can know what is being asked and answered. Thank you for your teaching.
Thanks!
Live in the Divine Will.
Very informative and helpful
Beautiful
❤People dont really think this is going to happen..
There are none so blind as those who will not see ; none so deaf as those who will not hear! See the SIGNS OF THE TIMES! I personally woukd not want to be an ostrich burying my head in the sand, pretending it is not happening!
I appreciate your presentation here very much, so important and relevant.
Go to confession regardless of N.O. or TLM. God will hear you.
Find a Melkite Church
Does the extraordinary minister of communion do a mass or a lay service?
SENSUS FIDELIUM !👍💪🙏⛪
Our Lady of Revelation is coming true!
We must learn from our Japanese and English brethern as they had to endure terrible persecution and were regularly unable to have any sacraments, rosaries, scripture, or worship. We as Christians are a flower that grows under stress
The Irish, too! Ireland is dotted with Mass rocks, rocks that served as altars for secret Masses.
Very revealing thanks Joan
Just an outstanding talk, and good reminders
Thank you so much!!!
I love your channel. It brings me back to basics. I thank you.
