Still plays with that intensity and hustle. Old man shows the baby bombers how to play and even shows the players who should know better. Hustle and grit. A true Yankee
Gardner was my favorite player on the team. Loved his underdog story, attitude and grit. While I'm a Yankees fan, the organization did him dirty by not giving him a proper send off (if, in fact, this is the last we see of him). With the vacancy at left field, it would be nice to see him back.
Brett Gardner is my favorite player, and has been ever since he was smashing the shit out of the roof of the dugout that one year. Outside of Brett Gardner, I have no clue about baseball lol. Class act, legend.
My Favorite Yankee..My Favorite Player..This Is A More Than Excellent Calvalcade Of His Enduring Greatness..Toughness..Grit..Dependability..All The Benchmarks Of True Greatness...THANKOU For This...
In a word, Brilliant!💎🏟️ Watching Gardner's highlights takes me right back to all those Great Yankee Moments! He is Thrilling to Watch! Pure Magic! Gardy Party 🎉 Indeed! Make the Deal Guys! One More Year Pleeeease!🤞#11 is Worth It, and Brett Deserves It!
Im not a Yankees fan, but this has to be one of the best shots ever 4:56 everyone jumping up and down celebrating and there's one person with his hood up, wearing a Mookie Betts jersey just sitting there disgusted. Just perfection
Brett Gardner played tough his entire career as a Yankee. Fought through every at-bat he ever had and covered every inch of the outfield. Never once made any trouble for himself or the team that wasn't justified. This guy was a class act Yankee and it's a disgrace the organization hasn't given him his due honor.
Boiii almost 6 minutes of watching Gardy, u til I looked at the tile of the video, sheesh that’s a whole lot of him being clutch, I haven’t noticed. We want A Gardy Return
This dude was everything a great Yankee should be. We should’ve resigned him and at this point, if he wasn’t healthy enough to play because of age, he should coach. Or manage.
It’s over for Brett. He knows it. The Yankees have many good players in their farm system and the time to bring them up, one by one, simply came. If Brett wanted to keep playing at the MLB level it would have to be with another team. He got offers but wanted instead to ‘go out a Yankee’. He did. Good for him.
6614 plate appearances. Lifetime .261 average. Batting average, career, with two out and runners in scoring position, .243. Of COURSE you can find some examples of where he was clutch...but I can show you VASTLY more where he performed less than league average. .243, with two out, and runners in scoring position, for his career.

Please re sign this man, he played with a big fucking heart and when we win this year he deserves to be here for it!! #BringBackBrett
This aged like milk
Yankee fan since the days of Munson & Jackson.
Brett ranks up there as one of my favorites. It was a joy to watch his pro career.
To me Gardner's most iconic hits came on inanimate objects in the Yankee dugout. I miss his clubhouse antics
You see players jog it out on a ground ball to 2nd, then you see Gardner who sprinted every single time no matter what hit it was
hats off to the best defensive left fielder of all time (no joke, look it up)
Man I loved Gardner. Always gave it his all.

I was at the game he hit the slam vs the sox. Never heard the stadium that loud in my life
You obviously haven’t been to too many good games. LoL
@@richardallen2687not true just depends on the outcomes of the games you go to, everytime I go they lose
Bring Brett Back!!

Let’s get one more year
You’re kidding right? You want Gardner to take the spot of a 23 year old prospect so that the Yanks can suck again ?

Yes, please go RETIRE!

These Yankees need a Brett Gardner on the team. This team is soft as hell.
Gardner had a lot of pop in his bat. Considering how level his swing was, many of the home runs were line drives that landed in the second deck.
I really miss him
I miss Gardner, I hope the Yankees get him in a coaching role
Ahhh yes Brett Gardener aka the “Angry Thumb”
Miss him in NY
MY CAPTAIN.
Yankees can use Gardner in left field now.
We sure needed him this Year post season....
BTW where is Brett Gardner?
Caillou
Miss em
As much as I don’t like the Yankees, Brett Garner was an amazing player

Gardener< verdugo ...miss them Gardy parties Go! yanks
1:22 that ball was wayy back
How weird was it seeing Gardy in the old stadium?
What’s great about this is they were able to get every single clutch moment of Brett Gardner’s career in the five minute video.
You weren’t ever good at baseball , goofy .
That’s not even true he has plenty more
@@orangezapinator7450 really - i cant think of any lol

Good player
😢i miss Gardner.......i almost had a ball by him.
Fuck most of his career hrs are in the clutch lol

PANT legs!?!?
This guy is one of Cashman best drafted and developed players as Yankees GM. Which shows why Cashman needs to “retire”

What they would give to have him now ,,,,, but they would never say it
Shit bring him back to play LF
only reason 11 isn't retired for him is cause he wants to be out of the public eye
1 year deal ‘with Yankees he can still field n run bench role
Gardner was clutch? In 175 Abs He had a .565 ops and hit .211 in the playoffs. He had one decent playoff series 2011 ALDS vs Detroit.

His OPS+, for his career, was EXACTLY league average, at 100. For this, he got 90 million dollars for his career.

Love this man. Plays every game 1000 percent best player ever
I get you are a Yankee fan and he had some clutch moments but best player ever? Come on.
