Fun fact about Gardy. Only 25 errors in his entire career, his former outfield mate, Granderson is the only Yankee to play 150+ games and not record a single E. However, Grandy finished his career with 31 errors. Although he played 2 more years than Gardner. ..Still very impressive how reliable Brett was. Brett put up 5 errors in the 2011 season, of which he played 156 games in the OF, wonder if he’s still pissed about those.
Yea I’m not upset at all I just hope he doesn’t interfere with Frazier’s development. That should not be a 50-50 split. If they would have signed him for anything north of 10 mil it would not have made sense business wise.

@Jonathan McCully if we're being fair, most of them were balls called otherwise. certainly far enough off the plate for an umpire with MLB experience to call a ball
Gardners a psycho bro, the way he looks hitting the bat against the dugout ceiling with that bald head and the vein bulging out his neck scares the shit outta me

I'm a Jays fan and always loved to hate Gardiner as an opponent. Good eye at the plate and he knew the strike zone so when he got angry at the Umpires it was for good reason. I wish we could have had Gardy in Toronto. Respect to the NYY fans in 2024 I'm cheering with you all for a World Series Championship. Great team that demands respect. Our Jays were a total joke this year and if they are bumming out I'm with you all.
This really highlights how shit umpires are. if you argue when they are wrong then you get ejected. No other sport does that. hard to grow the game when a kid comes to see his favorite player but the player gets ejected half way through for looking at the ump after the ump missed a call. Robo umps couldn't get here faster, there is no good argument to keep umps when we have something that can do a better job without bias and without error. We only had someone calling balls and strikes because computers didn't exist yet.
he didn't turn and look at the ump... lmfao. Also 'hard' to grow the game when a kid comes to see his favorite player but the player gets ejected for FUCK YOU FUCK THIS CALL FUCK YOU , am i right? just sayin
Gardner used to frustrate the hell out of me when he batted. Seemed like he ALWAYS took two strikes before swinging. Rarely did he approach aggressively. Jeter for instance, would jump on first pitch fastballs down the tube and became a legend. Gardner would allow two fastballs down the middle and swing at junk pitches. He always eliminated his chance to jump on fastballs. I guess he was more comfortable hitting breaking pitches. Idk but he frustrated the hell out of me.
Joey gallo..reminds me of Jeter...he hustle every single play..hope that the other yankees follow suite....like...Torres..Sanchez...and few others.. hustle dammit put pressure on the defense...I'm 54 yrs old I'm faster than both of them ..!!!!!!
that YES background music every ending of an inning is legendary!
I literally haul ass when there's an ejection during the break.

@@patdryno shit 🤣 especially ejections
I had a leaky roof once. Gardner came over with his bat and had it fixed in 10 minutes. 10/10 would hire again.
😂
He's been in the league since 2008 and he only has six career ejections. I'm impressed at how few he has gotten.

Musial had zero
Let the Gardy Party continue
Underrated comment
Honestly surprised it’s only been 6 times. Based on his general disposition I would have guessed that number would be in the double digits at least
I would think we would get ejected more to be honest
I'm sorry, but anyone who is upset about Gardner being re-signed doesn't fully understand baseball.
100% agree
He’s the heart and soul of the team
Him going anywhere else is just a hallucination

Yankees getting up there to.be oldest team in the league with no farm system third place
Now that's content!!! Thanks guys!!
Every time when I see Gardner making crazy scenes I literally laugh so hard.
I can’t wait to see the compilation of Gardy being ejected as the manager of the Yankees in the 2030’s
Ha! Out of all the Yanks in the last 20 years, he definitely fits the manager mold the most.

Oh shit oh no 😂😂😂😂
I would be on the floor laughing so hard when that happened 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMFAOOOOOO brett gardner is hilarious and a legend
The last one where everyone gets booted for arguing on Maybin's behalf and he's just in the dugout like "I didn't do nothing" 😂
Gardy is pure fire 👏👏👏
I am just shocked that he was only ejected 6 times to this point.

His hustle was an inspiration. He left it all on the field. A lesson to all who play the game!
I was there on August 17th crazy ejection
3:17 That was actually Cameron Maybin who said something. Gardy took one for him. MLB replayed it when the incident happened.
I really miss Brett Gardner ❤
Joe Kelly as a starting pitcher???

I guess someone has to

Huge fan of Gardner and I'm definitely not a pro but I was thought when you have two strikes you swing at anything close. All of those were close.
I’m here for it! Let’s goooooo

He pinch hit for Gardy when he got ejected. That was the only home run of Curtis' career

Lifetime .243 hitter with two outs and runners in scoring position. If I was his team, I would have liked to see him get ejected more.

Colin Curtis!?
I don't understand the second one, how did he get ejected?
1:35 maybe that was an inch off the plate, but it wasn’t an egregious call
With 2 strike 2 outs loosing by 4 runs and with bases loaded, he has to swing at that.
