Please just don’t come here. It’s become over populated from other states and it’s unrecognizable. I grew up in Utah and it went from being affordable/amazing to expensive and crowded.
I'm with you. But us locals don't have a choice. Smog in the valley is getting BAD! I used to be able to see mnts clearly. It's rare now. And can't afford to live here. Avg property is 600k+
A "con" - unless your practically a millionaire your going to struggle finding a "regular family affordable" home. I have family from one end of the state to the other... I really want to "go home" to my home state... But ive yet to find a decent home under 150$k
I live in Ogden and love it! Our kids had great schools and Ogden is has close access to skiing, boating, hiking, biking pathways and local parks. There is Great Access to great health care and I can buy anything I want in Ogden. Ogden is also home to Weber State University. Go Wildcats! This content provider is not very informed about how nice Ogden is but honestly that’s fine! I consider Ogden a well kept secret!💕
That can be slightly difficult. Homes in Utah definitely trend on the larger side, and hoas are becoming more common, so unless you are interested in an older home in an older neighborhood, that may be difficult to find.
There are too many people moving here. Real estate is insane. 1 mill for a crap house. We dont want more people ruining our state!! Stop these videos please

In Phoenix my rent went from $1300 to $2100 ever since the Cali-exit started in 2019. Same House. This is happening all over the West is not just SLC.
Slc is overcrowded the infrastructure can't keep up with influx of new residents. Anywhere else would be better

South Jordan is soooo much better if you are looking into long term profit. Better houses, shops, restaurants and things to do.
