A wonderful choir & orchestra making fantastic music. It gladdens the heart of this 77yr old English man during the most difficult time ever in my life. Stay safe. God Bless!
Thank you for saying exactly what I am feeling at just 64 ! This song has become my daily prayer ... morning and evening ... while my dear wife spends some time away from me in hospital.
Goosepumps 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴 We were on holiday 2019 in Wales for the second time. Wales is one of the nicest contries in Europe. 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴 best wishes from Germany.
Wonderful. I'm 88 and have sung in choirs, solo, duets quartets and choirs most of my life. Nothing beats this. To the Glory of God our Saviour the Lord Jesus.
I have loved this song ever since Only Boys Aloud sang this years ago for the British competition. The Holy Spirit is all over it!!! What a glorious performance! It takes me to the very throne of God and makes my heart burst with joy and praise. Several years too late, but thank you to all who performed and to the conductor. I watch it over and over. Perhaps someone who was there will read this one day! The glory goes to God!
this needs more views and likes. I wish my fellow Americans were this passionate about their heritage. Songs like this bring everyone together. I'm very proud to have ancestors from Wales.
Ardderchog! Mae hwn yn fendigedig. Am Irish, but learned Welsh many years ago on a Cwrs Carlam Cymraeg in Aberystwyth, and we used to sing the beautiful Calon Lan.
What gets me in this great and beautifully filmed performance is the musical girl at 2:25 - the way she shakes her head on the beat in full voice. Oh, to be Welsh!
Those who lead this beautiful music are the ones who should be running the education service in Wales. Are there any recent performances like this one ?
@@McDuff_ZA Shosholoza is one. There is also a version of Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrica, by the Stellenbosch University Choir for example. Other anti-apartheid anthems are candidates too
Praise God for such a lovely song. Jesus reigns in the pure hearts of the singers . . . . Amen? The little girl with the two support sticks reminds me of the story of the pied piper , where the lame child who couldn’t follow the Pied Piper was spared the fate of the others by being left behind and reunited with her family.
Chas. Baird , the whole song is about a pure heart - a Godly thing . The majesty of God is written all over the faces of the singers and also the conductor and musicians. The beauty of the choir - the wonder of God. Inescapable evidence of God’s goodness.

I like this Conductor. He conducts "up high'" where his gesticulations can be seen. So many conductors direct "from down low," beginning down around the waist-line and barely rising above eye-level... Not only does that look weird, but it makes their motions hard to see, especially if they are wearing dark clothing and using no white baton. CONDUCTORS, TAKE WARNING ... you are being watched and critiqued, and those of you with bad technique will be called out !
I think it would be clearer if the subtitle said "Organised" rather than "Arranged" by BBC Cymru ; however I would be interested to know who actually did do the musical arrangements.
No, it's not a mutation, rather a mistake. For some reason, the capital T is omitted each time. There are mutations, of course, and particularly interesting are those of the verb “canu”, where three forms are used in close proximity: canu, ganu, and chanu.
This is the most touching song I've ever heard. Celtic people always have the best music. Love Cymru from China. God bless you all!
I lived in Wales for twelve years and my children did their primary schooling their. It really is the land of song and this reminds me of that.
Brings tears to my eyes and I’m not even Welsh. 👍👍👍👍
Not even Welsh but every time I hear this wonderful song emotions take over. Absolutely beautiful.
Streaming tears of joy and gratitude. Thank you with regards from the United States.
A beautiful rendition... what a pleasure to listen to.
From Australia. What a blessing
It is heart-warming to see young and old singing this patriotic song enthusiastically.
God bless them!

This is very uplifting, even members of the orchestra wanted to sing.
One of the violinists was actually singing along. It's in the blood, you see.

I do love the welsh songs..so true I knew them from my sweetheart...so grateful I was met by him .
I'm Welsh on my father's side and at 68 years of age this song will forever bring tears to my eyes
to be welsh you have to be born in Wales only then can you lay claim to being welsh through and through

We used to sing this when we had Welsh assembly on Thursdays way back in the 1960s.
I left school 2 years ago and they still sing this along with the anthem at every assembly
