Depending on your vehicle, using the trailer harness triggers this behavior, as it believes a trailer is attached. The solution would be to hard wire the LED strip into the taillights and forgo the trailer harness.
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ THIS VIDEO = Tell me you false advertise without telling me you false advertise. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Why doesn't the ADVERTISED "Driving/Running" light mode work?! That feature is advertised on the box fucking box. It was the whole/only reason I bought this LED strip at all, but the only thing that actually functions is the turn signals and brake lights! I thought that, maybe the one I bought had a defect, so I bought a second tailgate LED strip (after having to return the first one) and it acts exactly the same way, WITH NO DRIVING/RUNNING LIGHT! You don't even mention or show the driving/running mode working in this video! This is what I think... I think that driving/running mode never worked cuz you falsely advertised this products functions/abilities. I see other people in the comments that are having the same exact problem as I am.
